Beautiful gem hidden away in Klamath. My fiancé and I had a glorious experience. The camp hostess is wonderful to talk to, very warm and welcoming. There is a mini golf course, a playground, a game room, free showers, multiple garbage and recycle cans, hollow trees, a beautiful trail… so many positive things about this wonderful campground. I cannot give enough praise. We will definitely be coming back to stay again, and recommending this campground to everyone!

Mystic forest campground was beautiful. The owners were sweet as pie and so helpful, thoroughly going over a map with me for recommendations of nearby adventures. The showers had consistent hot water and were clean. Redwoods national park close by and our campsite had a good view of the sky for stargazing. We had a lovely time !

We booked space 19C last minute but when we got there we asked if there were any other sites available due to 19C being the smallest site. The amazing camp host, Patrick let us know that he leaves some sites open for walk ins and call ins, so definitely give them a call if 19C is the only one you see available on Hipcamp!
We ended up in site 18 which was a very large and secluded and absolutely loved it.

It was a family atmosphere, primitive camping and an old school vibe. Site 15 has less privacy but a big site and if you park your car diagonally you can block off to make more private. With bears seen every night it’s not so bad to see your neighbors to check in. Don’t bring food in and don’t eat in your tent. The only WiFi is at the center game room which is fine if that works for you. If you have to work it may be challenging unless you post up in a spot people use often. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. Patrick is responsive, kind, and full of information. He goes above and beyond, you can tell. Prices are great too and the location is incredible right off of the 101.

A great little camp! I would definitely love to come back one day. The location is prime! Right down the road from Trees of Mystery, 20 minutes south of Cresent City, loads of great beaches. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the heated bathrooms with hot showers. They take all the trash out at 9:30 every night to deter bears. They even have a little coffee shop in the office selling organic coffees.

My teen boys and I loved camping at Mystic Forest Campground. Tent sites were wooded and separate from RVs. It was quiet throughout despite being almost fully occupied in mid-August. The host Patrick was welcoming and helpful with hiking suggestions, and the amenities were very good, including hot showers. We would definitely stay there again!

This is the kind of campground I look for, so was happy to find it accidentally on hip camp.
Mine was a last minute, peak season reservation on an unplanned road trip. Finding a spot to park the campervan in such a popular destination was a blessing. Affordable, peaceful, and very clean bathrooms/showers. Patrick’s knowledge and kindness were very much appreciated. A wonderful experience.

I was hesitant about booking a bigger campground, my family usually prefers being alone camping with no one in sight, but this one still felt private while having all of the amenities you could want. Hot showers, laundry, a dishwashing station, electricity to charge devices, a game room, and even a mini golf course. There are some gorgeous redwoods and stumps throughout the property. My kids wanted to stay longer so we could play a game of pool.

I would recommend this campground to others hoping to visit the Redwoods S&NP. Truly beautiful, nice price, and lovely people. My only complaint is the lack of enforcement when it comes to quiet hours. It starts at 10pm, yet campers still felt comfortable playing music and being loud past that hour. Do I have ideas for how to enforce the rule? No, it's simply my one complaint. Disruption of sleep.
