Quiet, with minimal traffic, this site offers walking distance access to downtown Arcata and the Arcata Community Forest. A mere 30-minute drive will take you to the breathtaking Redwood National Park, while CAL POLY Humboldt is just a 10-minute stroll away. The driveway is flat but does starts to slant downward towards alley. Alley can difficult to maneuver larger rigs. Our site comfortably accommodates a 20ft transit/van/small RV, as showcased by the pictured van. Located off-street, it provides a safe and tranquil parking spot. Access to the site is through an alleyway, ensuring privacy and convenience for guests.Our site is the driveway for our house. It is situated off an alley with no through traffic. There’s also a bonfire pit and seating in our garden area that you are welcome to use! The front yard is a nice area to throw a blanket and have a picnic. Our site is the driveway for our house. It is situated off an alley with no through traffic. The location is suburban and in a safe neighborhood. Very quiet and level driveway! This spot is walking distance to downtown Arcata and the community redwood forest. Cal Poly Humboldt is a short walk. The redwood national park is a 30 minute drive. Great spot. Nice concrete pad to park on. Nice neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the downtown square and ball parks. Jeffrey is great on communication. My Ram Promaster 3500 Ext van with my bike rack extending another 4 feet fit easily.

Everything was as advertised. Good place to crash for a night or two in Arcata not from the beach and also the cafes and shops. Jefferey was a good host.

We had a great stay and this is an easy place to stop and rest for the night. It seemed like a nice area though we didn't explore much. The driveway had a bit of a slope downhill but could have been how we parked.

I was in dire need in the late evening after confusion with another reservation not far from here. I contacted Jeffrey pretty late, but he was willing to allow me to park in the spot and sleep for the night. This place is close to many shops for early morning breakfast and Wake me up. Jeffrey was quick to answer and is a very friendly guy. Thank you Jeffrey. :D

Quiet, private, easy walk to town

Exactly as described. A perfect overnight in a quiet alley driveway with privacy. Host was courteous, friendly and responsive. And it’s an easy walk to downtown Arcata, a sweet little gem of a town with small shops, eateries and a green center. Would highly recommend.

This is just what it says “A drive way getaway!” Perfect for an overnight with a great gated area for dogs. It is super quiet and private. I stayed here before and will again. Easy access off 101! Great host! PS I also like the instant booking so I know I am reserved!

Jeffrey’s driveway was the perfect getaway in Arcata! The location couldn’t be better- central to town but tucked away enough for a quiet peaceful night’s sleep in a very level driveway. Jeffrey was super responsive, helpful, and kind. Will absolutely come back on my next trip to Arcata, thanks for everything!

The driveway getaway was perfect, secluded and safe. Know that you have to turn down the alley to get to it. When I had trouble finding they were super responsive and showed me where to go. I needed a place to Overnight with my dogs. It was great and I will be back. Super close to the 191

We enjoyed camping in this driveway. Very secluded and flat. Host was awesome! Gave us great recommendations for coffee/breakfast, and other activities. Would totally stay here again.

Perfect location when visiting Arcata. Walking distance to both the University and the Arcata Plaza. Super convenient. Very private with a nice sitting area outside. Jeffrey was very respectful and responsive. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful host! Went above and beyond providing us with local information. Let us know local baseball team the Crabs playing that night in case we were looking for something to do which was so nice! This is the most gorgeous well maintained driveway and garden I have ever seen. Looks like a work of art. Even a small water fountain flowing that was just lovely to listen to. Very easily accessed and I hope to stay here again one day soon. Can’t say enough positive things about this location. Very quiet secluded location all to yourself as described. You can even see the ocean from the driveway which was wonderful.

Sadly, our rig was a bit too big to make the 45 degree turn from the alley into his driveway. He was really understanding about it, and it was a good deal.

This is a beautiful quiet driveway. It is private, there is electric & water hookups if you need. Safe area to walk your dog at night. There is a laundry dryer vent right next to the parking spot, so if you are sensitive to dryer vent effluvium, you should mention it to the host; I’m sure he would have waited til I left to dry laundry but I didn’t mention anything

Jeffrey's drive way was a quiet and safe place for us to park our campervan overnight! Easy to find and great communication! The succulent wall was amazing and the snails on them entertained us in the morning. 😜
