Welcome to Terwer RV Park, a family-owned campground tucked near Klamath Glen on California’s beautiful North Coast. This little park has been welcoming campers for more than 40 years, and our family is honored to help carry it into its next chapter. My husband and I, along with our two young children, are working to keep the simple charm of Terwer alive while making thoughtful improvements along the way. Around here, we like to call it Klamath’s Best Kept Secret. Terwer RV Park is the kind of place that is getting harder to find. It is simple, peaceful, and full of old-fashioned campground charm. We are not a luxury resort, and we do not try to be. What makes this place special is the open space, the quiet mornings, the scattered trees, the fresh coastal air, and the slower pace that makes you want to sit outside just a little longer. The Klamath River is just over the levee, only a short walk from camp. It is a beautiful place to fish, swim, explore, or simply sit and enjoy the water. The river is known for salmon and steelhead fishing, and a valid fishing license is required. During peak fishing season, especially in August and September, you may hear early morning activity from guests heading out to the river. We are located about 4 miles off Highway 101, close enough to be convenient but far enough away to feel tucked away from the rush. Wildlife is common in the area, so please secure your food and trash at night. There is so much to explore nearby. Guests love visiting Redwood National and State Parks, Trees of Mystery, Klamath River Jet Boat Tours, coastal viewpoints, hiking trails, biking routes, and quiet places to wander among the redwoods. A few things to know before you book: * Firewood is available on site. * Cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier. Free Wi-Fi is available and reaches most of the campground. * Electric vehicle charging is $20 per charge and must be arranged ahead of time. 50 amp service is limited, and guests must provide their own adapters. * Well-behaved pets are welcome. * Kids, laughter, bikes, campfires, and simple outdoor fun are always welcome. * We offer dry camping, 30 amp sites, and 50 amp pull-through sites. * Late arrivals are okay. If you plan to arrive after 10:00 p.m., please text us before 9:00 p.m. so we can send check-in instructions. Terwer RV Park is rustic, peaceful, and easygoing. It is a place to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, walk to the river, and enjoy the kind of camping that feels simple in the best way. We look forward to welcoming you.

I really enjoyed my car camp stay at Terwer. Plenty of space, bathrooms/hot showers available., firewood onsite. The location was very prime too-right by the Klamath river, near Redwoods NP, as well as the beach. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. I recommend to walk up the hill nearby to catch sunset off of the Klamath, it was stunning with the fog rolling in. I would definitely stay here again when I am down near that way. The hosts have expansion plans for the camp too, looking forward to see it grow!!

My sister and I loved camping at Terwer RV park! Cortney was so welcoming and helpful and her family has created a beautiful space, with significant improvements from when I last visited two years prior. There are power outlets near each site, a clean water tap away from your tent site to avoid puddles, a large sink with a hose attachment, a large metal fire pit at each site, clean and new large wood picnic tables, and a most importantly a clean bathroom with showers, multiple sinks, and many stalls. The best part is the location, with beautiful scenery of an open grassy field with the safety of many happy people under shade cover and with views of the redwood covered hills! I have greatly enjoyed visiting Terwer RV park (and the friendly resident cats :)) and encourage you and/or your family and friends to do the same!

Cortney and her husband are so welcoming and helpful, I had lots of questions and received answers so promptly I was surprised. Very clean the whole place and especially the bathroom! Courtney guided me to the best site for my needs as well as the actual site upon arrival. All the campers kind and respectful. It got very quiet before quiet time and it was 4th of July weekend.

We stayed two days at Courtney's camp area. Courtney was welcoming, helpful, and kind. As soon as we arrived, she and her family welcomed us with a big smile and asked how we were doing. She lent us a tent, because I had forgotten to pack part of my tent. She saved our day and experience. On our last day, she suggested places to visit around Klamath and other cities. The camping area was clean, quiet, and peaceful. I highly suggest this place.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! The property is absolutely beautiful, tucked away in the mountains and surrounded by trees and blackberries we ate as a snack. It was unbelievably peaceful and relaxing! The location is super convenient to Redwood NP, only about 30 min from the best trails in the north. The amenities included were amazing, and definitely make this the best value site we’ve stayed at. The bathrooms were very clean with hot showers, and while we didn’t use the lake access we saw several people coming back with boats. There was even a dish washing station! Courtney could not have been any more accommodating and kind to us. She let us add a second night with a late check out very last minute, and checked in to make sure everything was going well. We wish them great luck running the RV park and we definitely recommend it to anyone looking in this area!

While it’s an older campground, it is very well maintained and it appears as if the owners are upgrading the facilities. We experienced fabulous communication all throughout our visit and were met at the entrance before we could even park the RV to check in. We were promptly escorted to our site where we enjoyed a peaceful night with full hook ups. We would certainly stay again whenever passing through the Redwoods area. We wish the new owners great success!

We had a very good stay here. Even though we booked and arrived quite late, the host was extremely kind and accommodating. He came out to meet us and personally guided us to the correct campsite, which we really appreciated—especially since he was likely trying to make sure we did not disturb the other guests. The campground had all the basic facilities you would expect from a well-run RV park. Nothing felt overly fancy, but everything was practical, comfortable, and well maintained. One important tip for future guests: make sure to secure your food and coolers at night. We left our cooler outside the car, and a small raccoon managed to open it and eat our peaches! It was a funny reminder that there is plenty of wildlife nearby, but definitely keep food sealed and stored safely. The only minor issue was that the shower water was not very hot when we used it. I am not sure whether that was because we arrived so late or if it was just a temporary issue. Other than that, everything went smoothly, and we had no problems at all. We are especially grateful that the host welcomed and helped us so late at night.

The onsite WiFi was a great bonus for trip planning, and the night skies were truly mesmerizing wall to wall stars. The site was beautiful. It is near the Klamath River. While my wife and I were exploring near the site we ran into 2 gentleman from the nearby Yorik? Tribe. They explained a lot of the local fishing culture to us. They were great. The site itself is rustic. It is very clean and the staff work hard. Courtney was very friendly and helpful.

We loved RV camping at this site. Stars were BEAUTIFUL!! Directions were mostly clear. Numbered RV sites need to be updated, which the host said would be happening soon. Multiple RV/Tent sites with full hook up. Met Courtney and she was super friendly. Courtney gave us some great suggestions for the Redwood/coastal experience as well as breakfast and supper options. We stayed two nights on a 10 night road trip. Would definitely recommend to others.

This was a great spot for tent camping near Redwood National and State Parks. The scenery around the property is gorgeous. I would come back again!

Cortney is a great host. She's kind and accommodating. We arrived late and she made sure we had all the information once we areived. The site is clean and the park is quite quiet.
