Amazing spot. Camped with redwood trees, bathrooms and showers were clean, firewood for sale on site. And it was in the middle of the redwood state and national parks part of the PCH. Perfect spot to explore the area.

I was on a roadtrip on memorial day weekend and luckily Patti had a last minute tent spot for me! Patti is very friendly and was there to greet me and show me around. It's close to all sorts of redwoods which is what I was looking for. Thank you!

The host are some of the most welcoming people and truly make you feel like family. They did not hesitate to invite me over to their campfire where we talked for hours. The sites were clean and well maintained. Additionally the bathrooms were spotless, and the showers had hot and cold water. The site is also great for those wanting to explore the outdoors as it is in close proximity to the redwood national and state parks.

First weekend of April 2025 - we reserved this at the last minute, as the reviews were very positive. But, we did not end up staying here. We were told we could stay at any of the sites within the park, which was nice. But, to our dismay, this location was 2+ miles from the freeway, in a valley within a small residential neighborhood, and there was no reception. The RV park was closed, and there were about 3 other RVs within the park (these were boarded up for storage). But again, we were informed via email that we could use any site, and appreciate the communication. I think this would be a good location in the later spring/summer when there are more people in the area and the park is open.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. We did arrive after sundown which made it a little difficult to decipher what was a campsite. Id highly recommend to arrive when there is still light out! Other than that we awoke to realize we were surrounded by beautiful mountains, its rainy season so the fog settled on the mountains beautifully and it was surprisingly not muddy in the campsites! We have dogs and allowed them off leash, just keep in mind there are other dogs that live in the area that are also off leash. Overall great overnight experience. Even in the rain.

Very central location made it easy to access good hikes to the north and south. Patti was welcoming and checked in with us when we arrived. Not in her control but it was a bit noisy overnight at times (dogs and cows in the neighborhood and then someone was setting off fireworks one of the nights we stayed). Other than that, a good spot!

We had a great time camping at Pattis RV site. We were able to setup our tent in a flat grassy area with access to a bench and fire pit. Patti was super helpful even despite the off peak season and even offered us fire starter and firewood. She was super welcoming and we would love to come back in the future.

It was raining the duration of our stay which of course has nothing to do with the host or campsite. Patti wasn’t there but her alternate knew we were coming and braved the rain to welcome us. The bathrooms were older but offered hot showers, flush toilets, electrical outlets, mirrors—everything we needed. We paid the extra to plug in our EV at an 50amp site and that worked well. Because of the time of year and rain, we had the place to ourselves minus the permanent folks so that was nice.

We spent the week camping at Patti's Terwer RV Park! We loved it! The location is perfect if you are looking for a low-key relaxed place to set up "base camp" to branch out and explore the surrounding area. We spent most of our days on the many trails in the area, then would head back to Patti's around sunset. Patti was a wonderful host, providing water, showers, flushing toilets and electrical hook up. (Patti let us borrow a power adapter for charging our phones on site as well!) We had a rental car, so we were able to drive from the campsite to many of the trailheads. The area is very peaceful and quiet with very friendly and welcoming neighbors on site. It was a wonderful trip and an amazing experience for anyone looking for a place to put down tent poles for a week. Definitely would recommend.

Patti’s is a beautiful spot close to the redwoods! The campsite had easy access to a nice trail to walk my dogs and amenities like bathrooms, showers, and a dishwashing station. It’s right next to a boat launch into the Klamath river too. No cell service but there is Wi-Fi near Patti’s house. Patti was very kind and flexible too. I would certainly stay again!

I heavily relied on reviews to choose this campsite because it was a last-minute Labor-Day weekend trip and all the campsites we wanted were full. Perhaps it was the fact that more campers than her usual booked her Camp, but our experience was less than pleasurable. We were greeted by aggressively barking dogs (thankfully behind her screened office door) and then after waiting a minute or two the owner/manager appeared. She was friendly but didn’t even ask for a name or reservation number had no idea how many nights we were staying. But She escorted us to pick a camp site nonetheless. We setup our tent since it was late in the day and it would be too late to find another campsite. It was a cramped site with some long term RV sites, bathrooms that needed upkeep (the second night my husband ran out of hot water since multiple people were showering at the same time and killed a cockroach. Women’s bathroom seemed to be cleaned and stocked at the beginning of the day only) . In short, we were supposed to be there three nights the first night we stayed to give it a whirl the second day we decided that we would cut our stay short. If you’re there to see the redwoods, I would certainly choose another campsite , if you’re there to fish then I guess it’s a good location.

Patti was very kind and welcoming though I don't think we'll plan to be back to tent camp, however. It can be loud at night due to neighbors and facilities are quite run down.

Great straightforward camping sight with everything you need and it even has WiFi on the property. It’s mostly RVs but there are multiple options for campers on flat ground in the grass so it’s super comfortable. Patti is very friendly and makes sure all her guests are taken care of and you can’t beat how close it is to the river! It’s a gorgeous area, I’d definitely stay here again!

I loved the views here every morning! Patti, is super helpful and nice! She even lent us her fold up table. Everyone at the park was welcoming! The ground is a little firm for tent camping (if you’re using sleeping pads) but with an air mattress it would be great! They have showers and bathrooms with flushable toilets. It’s more of a hole in the wall but the people are great, it’s a great location to Redwoods, and is peaceful and quiet!

The sites were super close to one another, there’s no privacy from other campsites and it’s noisy late into the night with many other RV’s, tents and ATV’s so close by. We arrived late our first night and took the last spot available as we had already paid and couldn’t leave. There was a large family across the pathway from us who were up sitting around their campfire late into the night laughing and talking. The next 2 mornings they were up early cooking, yelling at their kids and riding ATV’s. The people who run the small property do their best to interact with people and help out with anything they might need, which is nice. There is a men’s and women’s communal restroom with showers, some hot water and plenty of spider webs. We stayed 2 nights for 120.00 and I wouldn’t stay again. It’s been years since I last camped but I don’t remember it being so noisy or so close together.

Patti’s was a great spot near the Redwoods, Klamath River & the coast. It’s primarily an RV park, but we were tent camping. There are a lot of dogs that bark throughout the night (more noticeable in a tent), but they help to keep the bears out of the campground.

Lovely camping spot by the river! Lots of nice and flat options, perfect for tent camping. Bathrooms were very tidy and showers were hot and free. Patti was super friendly and quick to respond. 10/10 recommend 😊

We came in late and missed the tent spots, so we pitched our tent by the RV’s. Woke up to super nice people around us, turns out the tent area is pretty large and straight across and it was really dark so we didnt see it. At midnight it was dead quiet as well. Everything is surrounded by blackberry bushes, and Patti even let me harvest some rhubarb. The area is surrounded by little well manicured plant beds, garden decorations, the river is right over the levee, a short walk and it was beautiful foggy and quiet. A playground is down the street and some kids had bikes, we’ll bring ours next time. Hot showers with nice pressure. Grass all around. Few more tent places across the property, firepits. It was great atmosphere, really nice people all around, and Patti is such a kind warm soul.
