The area is known for its world class steelhead fishing and is unparalleled in its natural beauty. This 200 acre property is located within the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument, a land bridge where two mountain ranges meet, creating immense biodiversity and natural beauty. Soda Spring is a bourgeoning community tended land located on the unceded territories of the Shasta, Takilma, Latgawa and Klamath peoples, just 10 minutes from the south end of Ashland, Oregon. Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places. Please note that we are a working farm with sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, pigeons and bees. We ask that you are considerate to all the life happening on the land, observing animals at a distance (except the cats, who will not allow for that) and being aware of electric fences. If you bring dogs to the land, (an option only with RV sites) do so at your own risk. Dogs will need to be leashed at all times and cleaned up after meticulously. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe and the land well cared for. Currently there are two vintage trailers and two RV sites available. The perfect stop on my portland to sand Diego road trip, about 15 minutes from the main highway but it felt a world away. The washroom was great, with hot water even! The icing on the cake was the trail across the road that followed along the creek - my dogs and I took several romps around there during our stay.

This is a lovely spot in a farm on a creek surrounded by rolling hills. The farm hosts a a variety of folks, all friendly. A highlight is the flock of hairless sheep! We enjoyed the scenery and how remote it felt while being just 10 miles from Ashland. Sarah and Jeff were gracious and attentive hosts, and we had a great time resting and exploring the area.

Weekend Trip to Shasta Valley Horse Ranch Adventure

Becky and her husband made us feel safe and welcome on their land. It was dark and foggy when we arrived, but we woke up to a beautiful scene of frosty, rolling hills and spent the morning with the horses and donkeys. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

I loved staying on Sarah’s land in our RV. It was our first time using Hipcamp and it was a great experience. Good directions, beautiful farm and views. My daughter loved waking up to the sheep and us too! We walked around the property a little bit too. Such a great spot. We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Klamath River Village

What a nice and quiet spot to get some alone time with that someone special! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at overlook 1, and would recommend it to anyone looking for privacy and beauty. There are bears in the area, as evidenced by 7 giant piles of bear poop and scratches on a tree so bring protection. Other than that, the place was absolutely perfect! Nice view of the river too!!!

A serene, safe spot to camp for 4 nights. And a perfect location for accessing all that Mt, Shasta and the surrounding area has available. I highly recommend the sound bath with Bodhi, as it was an incredible experience and unlike other sound baths I’ve done in the past. You won’t be disappointed!!

The sound of the creek will take away all your stress. The swimming hole is beyond epic. They went above and beyond with fresh baked cookies and veggies from their garden! He even brought us extra ice and offered all the firewood we needed. I have a big dog and they even put there dog away so mine could be free! The horse is just walking around the property and is super nice. Thanks again for an amazing stay!🇺🇸

Great spot by a stream with many varieties of plants and countless little frogs to see. Perfect location and was so quiet I overslept!
