Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters.
Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.

What a fun and easy place to get to. We only stayed one night and loved that the vintage trailer was available right next to our site so our group could be near each other. Would definitely come back to explore the area more! The heated bathrooms were a big bonus!! Thank you!

Karen and her husband we very welcoming and did all they could to accommodate us as quickly as possible. A storm came in the night before and knocked power out. They were able to get the power back on and were able to relocate us to a site with power. The place was very well maintained and the short hike to the top of the hill gave us spectacular views of Mt Shasta. The goats, chicken and other wildlife were definitely a welcoming touch. Thank you Karen and Trailer Lane for a very nice stay!!!!

Overall, it’s a nice camp for long drive to take a break. Jim is nice to welcome us and navigate us to the site. The site floor is pretty even, but only bother us is the tree with lower brunch touched the roof of trailer, that need to be removed. The camp has big space to walk around if you have dog, that’s a good camp for you

Convenient stay on the way up north or the return south bound trips through the area. All the amenities. Got to stop by the camp store this time and it's very cute.... snacks, tshirts, souvenirs, and things you may have forgotten for your trip.
It was a warm day coming through but it was about 5 degrees cooler at the camp and the shade was falling over it for the evening so made for a nice temp.
Made it up to the tent are for the view of Shasta this time. It's fantastic to sit up there for the view (assuming you're not bothering tent campers). Lovely little tent camping area also with flush toilets and warm showers. Pretty sweet spaces
Road noise is the only complaint which can't be changed. Was more noticeable this time through as we had the windows open on the van to get some cool air in.

It's clear the hosts have thought of all the details from their own travel experiences. Warm bathrooms, hot showers, no generators going, close off the road and easy to get to. We didn't make it to the convenience store but it's a great idea.
There is road noise but didn't seem to keep me up. And loved the visit to the animals.

This is an RV park and my comments are based on that fact. If you are looking for a boondocking experience, this may not be your place.
It is a small park, maybe 20 spots total. There is tent camping up the hill. We were in A2, through the trees you see the trucks going down I5. You can hear the highway noise. But at night, not as noticeable as there is not much traffic.
Bathrooms are clean, updated, showers and flushing toilets.
Chickens, turkeys and goats on property. A charcoal grill near firepit. About 10 picnic tables scattered around.
An hour from Lake Shasta, but plenty of hiking near by.
Sites have electrical, water and sewer. Grounds are kept up.
A good place for base camp and doing things in the area.

Karen's hospitality is something that I would love to get in every place that I stay, when I travel. I answered tones of questions and got tones of very kind and very useful answers. Her place is wonderful and extremely comfortable. And there is also a hill with the best view of the Mt. Shasta. Definitely recommend Trailer Lane Campground for your stay in this region.

This site was a gem! With a view of Mt Shasta, the campground is quiet and serene. With lake Shastina just a few minutes away, there are plenty of things to do, including hiking and a 15 min drive to see the waterfalls. The rv site is fully prepped and there is a market on the property with fresh eggs, rv supplies, firewood, etc. etc. Our two kids 7 & 11 loved the farm animals and spent hours walking on the property and enjoying the outdoors. The campground is safe and clean, and the owners are very welcoming. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
