The name Feel Good Camp is truly says it all. Being inside these cob buildings feels like being in the womb of Mother Earth: the scent, the calm, the grounding, etc. The woods come from one of our properties and we milled them ourselves. We'd like you to come to be inspired!
We made your Camping and Glamping experience easy. We provide clean showers, restrooms, toilet paper, paper towels, barbecue, camping stoves, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, coffee maker, pots and pans, cutleries, etc. Yes, there is hot water as well with no coins needed.
The campground is located in a serene oak grove area of the property. Its a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. Take a stroll around our 5-acre property and catch a breathtaking sunset from the hillside.

There is also a large geodome furnished as a game room with couches, a lounge area, pool table, foosball table, a stereo, games, and music equipment. There are clean composting toilets, hot showers, a propane fire pit, heaters for the cold, a hammock bungalow, a meditation pagoda, a deck overlooking a creek, and disc golf baskets. With a fair balance of sunlight and shade, we have a garden, outdoor play equipment, and lots of open space to spread out and relax. Free wifi is available. We run a nonprofit outdoor education camp for underprivileged youth, so your stay supports our work to get youth outdoors.
Winter lodging....
It can get seasonably cold in the Santa Cruz Mountains during the winter. If visiting in the winter, rest assured we have everything covered to enjoy your stay. We have propane heaters in all main spaces for your comfort. If the power goes out, we have a standby generator that will power up camp provided we are home to turn it on. We have a woodstoves in the Owl's Nest and Eagle's Nest. We provide a fire starter log for each woodstove for each night of your stay, and guests are responsible for bringing firewood to keep the woodstoves going for continued warmth throughout each evening.

We are located in La Selva Beach, an eight-minute walk to Manresa State Beach. We are a small, working farm with vegetable and flower gardens, chickens and bees. There are many excellent places nearby to hike, walk, surf, swim, tide pool, kayak or just sit and enjoy the view.
Our campsites include water and electric hookups. We welcome tents, RV’s, trailers etc. We have plenty of room for a second vehicle. We do offer a port-a potty and sinks, but we do not shower facilities. Cell service is very good.
Our property is a great base camp for your Santa Cruz and Monterey County adventures! We are 15 minutes from Capitola Village, 30 minutes to downtown Santa Cruz. Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur are about 45 minutes anway and make for great day trips.
SFO is 90 minutes away depending on traffic. We regularly host international travelers and we are happy to help you get acquainted with your rig as you set out on your journey.
We love to host guests and will happily provide you with information about things to do and see in on the central coast. We may loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset State Beach, Natural Bridges and more.
There is a Dump station 5 minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

Demonstration forest is 15 minutes down the road, with miles of mountain biking. Spend a day at one of the beaches in Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Rio Del Mar, Davenport, Half Moon Bay, Monterey, or Carmel and return to your private oasis. Or Explore Silicon Valley from this centrally located parcel.
Kim Son Meditation Center and Mount Madonna Center are approximately 15 minutes away. There are also wonderful wineries throughout the mountains here.
The trip to the site will begin with a three mile drive on a private dirt road. Being on the very top of a mountain brings more seasonality than the surrounding cities. Please be prepared for any kind of extreme weather. Summer: Shade is highly recommended it can get into triple digits. *Spring/fall: Temperatures are generally mild but high winds are possible. *Winter: Typically cold and windy. *During rainy/muddy conditions 4x4/AWD is highly recommended. It is possible for it to get windy, foggy, rainy, hot and sunny, and even sometimes snowy.
Please note: the nearest grocer is 30 minutes from this site. Emergency supplies are available for delivery to your campsite. Cell phone reception is good on most carriers. Pets are allowed. Enjoy your time howling at the moon, star gazing, bird watching/wildlife viewing, or relaxing with your favorite libation.
Don't forget your camera!
Since this is our first year renting our land we have found that August is a high wasp season time in the mountains. We are doing everything humanly possible to hunt down each and every Wasp for your enjoyment. With this in mind we ask you use the provided bug repellent, keep the lid to the trash closed, and do not pour grease anywhere you do not want wasps.

We have great hiking in the near area and 5 miles away there is great mountain biking trails. A world renoun mountain bike spot with intermediate to experienced trails for riders of all levels. 5 miles down the road as well is buzzard lagoon and is a great Dirt biking/4-wheeling location. It is a fun spot for all off road inthusiast!
Your camping site is on a flat plateu and is an ideal spot to park your trailer, motorhome or tent camp. With Complete privacy with views of the pacific ocean and South county's Monterey bay with a 180 degree view as well as San jose and Morgan Hill.
For the wine inthusiast, Loma Prieta winery is 5.5 miles away along with Windy Oaks Winery that is 3.7 miles away that is located on the "Wine trail" that has alots of winerys to offer in a beautiful location.
A Day of fun for the family at Gilroy Gardens that is 15.5 miles away.
The beach is 30-40 minutes away with great surfing and body boarding up and down the coastline.

- A custom, outdoor kitchen, and bar for entertaining with gas BBQ, fridge freezer, sink with hot and cold filtered water, Sonos sound system.

The site looks down into a private and secluded redwood and oak forest with trails for small hikes into the redwood fairy circles or all the way down to the creek.
The glamping site is on a sunny flat area surrounded by steep terrain up to a ridgeline and down to the creek. The creek is accessible although the final route requires a rope down so may not be suitable for everyone.
Within 15-20 min drive you will find almost all major attractions in the Santa Cruz area including The Mistery Spot, Nisene Marks State Forest, Capitola Pier, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, and many famous surf breaks from Capitola to The Point, The Hook, Steamer Lane and many more., as well as many amazing mountain bike trails.
There are also several Santa Cruz Mountain wineries to explore in a 3- 5 mile radius. Further afield you will find Monterey Bay Aquarium and the coastal beaches north up to San Francisco Bay ( 1 hour 30 mins north) and down to Big Sur about 1 hour 20 mins south.

With a fair balance of sunlight and shade, we have a garden, outdoor play equipment, and lots of open space to spread out and relax. Free wifi is available. We run a nonprofit outdoor education camp for underprivileged youth, so your stay supports our work to get youth outdoors.
Winter lodging....
It can get seasonably cold in the Santa Cruz Mountains during the winter. If visiting in the winter, rest assured we have everything covered to enjoy your stay. We have propane heaters in all main spaces for your comfort. If the power goes out, we have a standby generator that will power up camp provided we are home to turn it on. We have a woodstoves in the Owl's Nest and Eagle's Nest. We provide a fire starter log for each woodstove for each night of your stay, and guests are responsible for bringing firewood to keep the woodstoves going for continued warmth throughout each evening.

Our property is a great base camp for your Santa Cruz and Monterey County adventures! We are 15 minutes from Capitola Village, 30 minutes to downtown Santa Cruz. Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur are about 45 minutes anway and make for great day trips.
SFO is 90 minutes away depending on traffic. We regularly host international travelers and we are happy to help you get acquainted with your rig as you set out on your journey.
We love to host guests and will happily provide you with information about things to do and see in on the central coast. We may loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset State Beach, Natural Bridges and more.
There is a Dump station 5 minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

Kim Son Meditation Center and Mount Madonna Center are approximately 15 minutes away. There are also wonderful wineries throughout the mountains here.
The trip to the site will begin with a three mile drive on a private dirt road. Being on the very top of a mountain brings more seasonality than the surrounding cities. Please be prepared for any kind of extreme weather. Summer: Shade is highly recommended it can get into triple digits. *Spring/fall: Temperatures are generally mild but high winds are possible. *Winter: Typically cold and windy. *During rainy/muddy conditions 4x4/AWD is highly recommended. It is possible for it to get windy, foggy, rainy, hot and sunny, and even sometimes snowy.
Please note: the nearest grocer is 30 minutes from this site. Emergency supplies are available for delivery to your campsite. Cell phone reception is good on most carriers. Pets are allowed. Enjoy your time howling at the moon, star gazing, bird watching/wildlife viewing, or relaxing with your favorite libation.
Don't forget your camera!
Since this is our first year renting our land we have found that August is a high wasp season time in the mountains. We are doing everything humanly possible to hunt down each and every Wasp for your enjoyment. With this in mind we ask you use the provided bug repellent, keep the lid to the trash closed, and do not pour grease anywhere you do not want wasps.

The glamping site is on a sunny flat area surrounded by steep terrain up to a ridgeline and down to the creek. The creek is accessible although the final route requires a rope down so may not be suitable for everyone.
Within 15-20 min drive you will find almost all major attractions in the Santa Cruz area including The Mistery Spot, Nisene Marks State Forest, Capitola Pier, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, and many famous surf breaks from Capitola to The Point, The Hook, Steamer Lane and many more., as well as many amazing mountain bike trails.
There are also several Santa Cruz Mountain wineries to explore in a 3- 5 mile radius. Further afield you will find Monterey Bay Aquarium and the coastal beaches north up to San Francisco Bay ( 1 hour 30 mins north) and down to Big Sur about 1 hour 20 mins south.

The site is at the top of the mountain, which was amazing for the view, even on a cloudy day. The site has multiple spots to pitch your tent which is great and they include different windblock options. You're going to literally feel on top of the world.
The drive from the south using highway 152 is gorgeous. The unpaved road was an adventure, take care if there was recent rain but my 2WD mini-suv was fine with light slipping. That said, it's super easy to get to and I want to go again!

Weekend Trip to Santa Cruz Mountain Camping
A cute, simple retreat space. Located on an open space farm land. There are some shipping containers and spare farm tools/parts around the land and it’s near a road, but the tent still feels tucked away in nature since it is next to nice trees. Easy directions and parking. There are no lanterns or power, so consider bringing a light for the tent. Outhouse is simple but clean, bring spare toilet paper and water if staying for a few days. Bed is super comfy and blankets warm. The sound of nature and cute animal visitors is abundant. Saw turkeys, deer, and many other birds. Enjoyed my stay.

Robins place was a great first stop on our trip down the coast. Robin was so helpful and provided us with bbq tools so we could cook on the campfire. There's electric hookups and fresh water provided which was great and there's a lovely little walk to the beach too. I thought it was a perfect pitstop for anyone travelling up/down the coast. We were really happy with our stay and Robin provided us with some excellent recommendations for our trip after which we have already used and eggs!!

Awesome spot. We stuffed my truck with RTT and a Sprinter into one spot and had a great night.
Tons of room and a huge wagon of free fire wood. Ray and Robin and super chill, they have a sani-hut on the property, power cables etc, the beach down the street was awesome. If you surf you can rent a board on site. We also played horse at the b-ball hoop.

Nancy is top notch. Super friendly and responsive. The ranch is a bit on the worn out side. The hot water tank wasn't working when we were there, and the fridge could use a deep cleaning. However, our dogs had the time of their lives. The horse (Hannah) and donkey (Daisy) are amazing. I absolutely loved the blooming jasmine growing over the building. We had a very relaxing weekend and plan to return.

This campsite (#1) was a beaut! The view of the valley was stunning and made for such an eventful trip. There was ample space for a large car and a large tent, plenty of room that included a picnic table and trash can. The loo was also a short walk away. The drive here was also an adventure. Absolutely recommend this hidden gem.

I had a great experience at this place and truly appreciated the kindness and support we received. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of.
He generously gave us fresh eggs and even provided towels, asking only that we pass on the kindness by donating to charity — a gesture that really stood out and reflects his character.
We also ran into a few issues with our RV, and he didn’t hesitate to step in and help us resolve everything. He made sure we were okay and took the time to assist us with genuine care and patience.
The place itself was incredibly peaceful and calm — exactly what we needed. We truly enjoyed our time there and felt completely relaxed throughout our stay.
Overall, an incredibly kind and helpful person. I would highly recommend this place to anyone — it’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality.

We had a wonderful experience camping here. It's very magical. It's a hidden gem for sure. The host was wonderful, and the campsite was basic but clean. We plan to come back and stay in a cabin. Even the restrooms offer a great experience.

Amazing symphony of nature and animals. 100% recommend this place if you want to reset your circadian rhythms. Me and my daughters slept like a log among many trees and orchestra of owls and turkey and birds singing in the night. Thanks Shelly for sharing such a nice glamping site with us!!

Great place for people and animals. Sites are roomy and can accommodate a pup or two without disturbing. We saw some deer and also some sheep in the Peaceful Valley! A great base for exploring. Manresa Beach and the chill crowd there is very nearby. Also the beautiful bluffs of La Selva. An easy camp with great communication by host.

The site was fantastic! We met the property owners when we arrived. They were both very kind. The walk to the beach really was 8 minutes as advertised. The site itself was large. Firewood was included, which was much appreciated! There was a clean picnic table, two chairs, and a fire pit. All in great shape. The view of the hills and strawberry fields at the site was beautiful. Great stay! I hope we make it back.

What a wonderful place to stay! Ray greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. We went straight to the beach, easy walk, and upon our return Robin greeted us with fresh eggs! The view of the strawberry fields is lovely. Beautiful spot, wonderful hosts, we will return for a longer stay!
