We have a trampoline, a tree house, a large livestock water trough that we use as a kiddie pool in summer, a great swing set, and room to play. We live on a quiet 10 acre property with trees that provide some shade, and all of our sites are near the horse pastures. You might hear horses nickering and chickens clucking. There is lots of room to walk or run around. A Treehouse is available for kids to play in, a trampoline to jump on, plus we have a 17 foot high swing for kids and adults alike! You can walk the property to observe the horses, or sign up for a special horse, tractor, or welding experience. Come camp in a very quiet and safe horse and farming area. We are near the end of a dead-end road. Our camping sites are somewhat private, some with more shade and others with more mid-day sun. We specialize in "Horse Experiences" tailored to your level of comfort and needs. None of the horse experiences listed on our site require any prior experience with horses. We will make sure you are safe and comfortable while working with the horses. *NOTE: Experiences are not available on Sundays (our sabbath day). We can fit them in on Saturday afternoon/evening for Saturday-night campers, or Monday morning for Sunday-night campers. We have a private bathroom with flush toilet and sink. Summertime brings hot days and (usually) cool nights to our area. It is not uncommon to experience 100 degree days in June, July and August. Most evenings cool down, thanks to the Delta Breeze, to around 60-70 degrees overnight. Wintertime brings cooler daytime temps (50-60 degrees) and colder night temps (30-40 degrees). We are located about 10 minutes from the Galt area, which has a large variety of Fast-food, as well as several nicer restaurants. There is also a Wal-Mart (with groceries) and a nice Supermarket. We are about 6 miles from 2 country stores in Herald and Wilton (with gas station). Sites accommodate up to 6 people, and you can add up to 2 more for an additional fee. If you need more than 8 people, then consider booking 2 or more sites. With horses and the activities we do with them, dogs are not allowed.

Excellent Group Site! We only host one group at a time so you can be with your family and friends in a large, flat and private space. Choose between the campground, the cabin, or both! Since then, it has been used by four generations of the family as a place to gather, relax, camp and even celebrate. I had my wedding on the property in 2010. For a few years we held an annual music festival with the very inventive name of Samapalooza. Up to 400 people would attend the day filled with live music, food and drinks. 'The Property', as it is known amongst family and friends has always been a place to camp. I have sat around the same fire ring for decades, rain or shine. I hope that fellow hipcampers can find the joy that my family and I have experienced here. This is a very private camp on a small olive farm. Geographically close to highways and the town of Novato, Sonoma and Napa wine country, this camp feels remote and secluded. Only one camp on the property to keep it private and special. You basically have your run of the land. We have just updated the land and made some nice improvements. Located on ten acres, you will drive past a small olive grove before reaching the spacious and open campground. Just up the hill from the camp is a private pond where you can fish, take out a small boat or just sit and watch the birds. It can be great swimming on hot summer days. This spot has been used by the family for decades and is now open to share with fellow nature lovers. Just a note: While the majority of the time you can expect complete privacy, this is a working olive farm. From time to time you may run into me (Sam) or someone else associated with the land. We will always do our best to respect your space.

I bike/ train to San Francisco almost daily from this property. EV parking or charging coud be accessed also. we have a nacs or tesla charger at two locations that are sloped down in grade. one slow charger (3 mph and one faster one about 13mph) please make your bookings at least 1 day in advance so we can prepare to accommodate your rig. thank you :)

Big open space in the Livermore Hills. Great for just hanging out and relaxing. There’s a nice patio area by the tasting room that they offered for us to use with fire pits. Be aware of no fire bans, since the hills can be quite dry. Bathrooms are clean and easy to walk to. Tasting room was closed but Kelly was nice enough to allow us to buy some of her favorite wines. We ended up finishing both bottles! Ground is a bit rocky so be prepared with cots or air mattresses if you are tent camping.

We loved staying at Pharo Pharms. Its location is perfect to launch a day of adventure. We spent hours hiking around the area and then returning to relax and enjoy the view of the vineyards. We brought a 29’ travel trailer and parked perpendicular to the fence which worked out great for us. The road in is narrow and bumpy so drive carefully. The grounds are well maintained and the farm animals are charming.

2 nights at Pharo Pharms Organic Farm-

Pharo Pharms was our home base for our 2 nights exploring Sonoma. We were pretty busy during the day, since there is so much to see and do in the Sonoma area, but it was nice to come back to the farm at the end of the day where it was peaceful and quiet, with only the sounds of birds, sheep and chickens to be heard. This is a working farm, so you should be prepared to get into that vibe and enjoy it for what it is and not expect it to exactly like your home or some other campground. You will hear sounds of those animals, including a rooster in the morning. There is farm equipment all around, dirt, gravel, grass, and even a boat on a trailer. This is rural living, and we enjoyed it for what it was. A friendly cat with 6 toes (polydactyl) came around, and was friendly if you approach gently and let him come to you. We have a van with solar and batteries so didn't need the extension power cord that was there, but we did use the water hose to fill up our water jugs. It was nice and quiet and dark at night, and morning greeted us with the sounds of all the animals making all their normal noises. We were the only campers there, and I think that's how it is. Only one camping group at a time. There aren't many camping options in Sonoma, so this is a good find!

Peaceful setting and beautiful views. There is a $10 dump station at a Shell gas station about 11 minutes away where you can empty and clean out your RV grey/black tanks after your stay. I would definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Pharo Pharms Organic Farm-

Great location, close to many wineries and downtown Sonoma. The RV spot is directly behind the host’s house, but we parked to face the beautiful vineyards and it felt perfectly private. Beautiful sunsets, woke to see the sky dotted with hot air balloons. Pretty magical.

We had a wonderful stay here. The space was incredibly clean, the location was beautiful, and the hosts were amazing—so friendly and easy to communicate with. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Delta Meadows River Camp

We arrived Dec 26 the day after the big storm with a little residual rain. Wasn’t too muddy to park and after another night of rain we were able to drive fine (also land is level). Dino was a great host- friendly, gave a tour of the trailers and told me local places to get food. You can walk to Locke and Walnut Grove (enough room at the side of highway to walk comfortably along the road with a dog without fear of oncoming traffic. There’s also a nearby park along the water to walk through. Would definitely go to again. Thanks Dino!
