Excellent Group Site! We only host one group at a time so you can be with your family and friends in a large, flat and private space. We listed the site for up to 12 campers but feel free to reach out if your group is bigger. Please check out the newest addition of our cabin bunkhouse. Take a look at the pictures - you can add it to your stay as an extra when you book! The land was originally purchased in the 1980's. Since then, it has been used by four generations of the family as a place to gather, relax, camp and even celebrate. I had my wedding on the property in 2010. For a few years we held an annual music festival with the very inventive name of Samapalooza. Up to 400 people would attend the day filled with live music, food and drinks. You will still find the stage and bar we built as an outdoor kitchen and dining area. Around 2008, my father and I planted our first olive trees. Many have been planted since which has gifted the land the timeless sense of purpose it deserves. My father dedicated his last years to tending the young trees and now I have taken the mantle to carry the farm forward. 'The Property', as it is known amongst family and friends has always been a place to camp. I have sat around the same fire ring for decades, rain or shine. I hope that fellow hipcampers can find the joy that my family and I have experienced here. This is a very private camp on a small olive farm. Geographically close to highways and the town of Novato, Sonoma and Napa wine country, this camp feels remote and secluded. Only one camp on the property to keep it private and special. You basically have your run of the land. We have just updated the land and made some nice improvements. Located on ten acres, you will drive past a small olive grove before reaching the spacious and open campground. Just up the hill from the camp is a private pond where you can fish, take out a small boat or just sit and watch the birds. It can be great swimming on hot summer days. This spot has been used by the family for decades and is now open to share with fellow nature lovers. Just a note: While the majority of the time you can expect complete privacy, this is a working olive farm. From time to time you may run into me (Sam) or someone else associated with the land. This is a magical spot for our family and we can’t wait to share it with yours. You will be the exclusive campers on the property after booking and the owners will reside in their house. Potential activities on site include Private Hiking Trails, Breathtaking Ocean Views, Bocce Ball, Wiffle Ball, Golf Chipping, Soccer, and more... Guests are responsible for bringing their own camping gear. Of note, the main campsite is 1/2 mile hike from parking and has a portable camping toilet setup. One of our favorite spaces is the barn area which has a fire pit, multiple seating areas with views, an oversized picnic table, bocce ball, a grill and even a TV. This is a must hangout spot during the evenings for many guests before they hike back up to the campsite to retire for the night. There is also a portable toilet at the barn for guest convenience. Moon Crest Valley Ranch is located less than 10 minutes from the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay and 15 minutes from scenic Main Street Half Moon Bay. We are also only 1/2 mile away from the Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve Trailhead that has an additional 30+ miles of gorgeous trails to explore. Bring your hiking shoes or bike!

Our yurt and treehouse are located on Lago Lomita Vineyards with a view of the entire Monterey Bay. We've been hosting guests since 2015 and are looking forward to meeting you! Both our treehouse and yurt listings are unique experiences. They both are adjacent to the Tierra Madre Vineyard Block and have awesome views of the entire Monterey Bay/Pacific Ocean. We are located on 44 acres high atop the Santa Cruz Mountains but close to all the major beaches and Silicon Valley. Please be aware this is camping in nature, along with squirrels, spiders, falling leaves, etc. and nature is not always for everyone. There is a 45ft. ladder to climb to get into the treehouse. The view at sunset is spectacular. Featured on the first page of top Glamping destinations in California, in National Geographic's 50 States, 500 campgrounds. Both sites include a trunk of goodies: Complimentary trunk of goodies that is filled with muffins, mugs, creamer, sugar, coffee, croissants, cards, champagne & wine glasses & wine opener! We acquired the property in 1991, shortly after the Lexington Fire (1985) and Loma Prieta earthquake (1989). At that time, the entire property has degenerated into disrepair, and all the vineyards had been overwhelmed by the wilderness. In 2011, we started the herculean effort of clearing away the wilderness, resurrecting all the vineyards and renovating our home. In 2014, we started replanting the vineyards, and opened our tree house to visitors in 2015. Just like us, I think you will fall in love with this property, and enjoy every minute of your time here. Amazing glamping spot. So much was taken care of that I didn't need to worry about putting things together. This made the experience even more peaceful and calming. Sana and Jairo were super helpful during booking, arrival, and the stay. I highly recommend this spot to anyone. It truly made for some wonderful family memories.

Weekend Trip to Delta Respite

I had a wonderful stay here. The silence, stars, multitude of birds (including Sandhill Cranes!), water, and joyful farm animals were restorative for my soul. The rustic and charming cabin was delightful with a window view of splendid sunsets, cool art and stylistic decor, an efficient heater, and a spacious bathtub. The hosts were gracious, responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful; they went above and beyond in making sure my stay went well.

We came for a weekend where it was rainy and slightly cold, yet still had a magical, rejuvenating, wonderful experience. The animals around the farm, the views, the cozy tents, all culminate to make a magical and unique experience. 2 nights at Swallowtail Historic Art Studio

Bill’s land was one of the best hip camps I have ever stayed at! The Indonesian bedroom was so serene and I slept like a baby with the heated bed. The bathroom was so beautifully decorated with ornate paintings, little treasures, and the stained glass window was intricately stunning. The hot tub was a bonus and it was extremely close to the town of Petaluma and hiking trails. You definitely should stay here for a romantic getaway!

Loved everything about Sana and William’s - we were greeted by Meowsicle the cat upon our arrival, we enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the forest and ocean views straight from our tent, and ate farm fresh eggs every morning! We also loved being visited by the friendly goats (who loved chin scratches). Sana and William were both very friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. I would absolutely stay here again.

I was the only camper! I weathered 3 hours of rain and wind to spend a night on Quail Hill. By 5 pm it had cleared and the morning was absolutely clear, calm and blue. I hiked all the trails and liked the Muir Beach Overlook, 1.4 miles. It's a gradual up with memorable views of the coast and ocean the whole way. Tent #1 held up in the wind, had two cots and two camp chairs. Spectacular views and the sound of the ocean all night. 5 minutes from the parking lot, downhill and then up a short steep path. It felt private. Loved it.

Weekend Trip to May's Luxury Farmstays

Absolutely WONDERFUL STAY! The location is a four minute drive to castle rock state park, the house is stocked with everything you may need including a full bar, seltzers and sodas, FRESH EGGS, and snacks (just bring your favorite creamer and bread for the perfect breakfast each morning)! Our favorite part of the trip was the tub outside overlooking the lake that can be swam in along with their friendly fur animals that you can feed! Highly recommend and hope to be back!

The tent cabins are built on the side of a steep hill so the trails down to them are rugged, but there are steps and railings to assist. The cabins are very comfortable and have everything you need. The goats are fun to interact with. The eggs from the chickens are really good. The view is spectacular and the hosts are extremely accommodating.

my partner and i stayed at Sana's camp for our anniversary, and it was the most perfect overnight trip to celebrate! even before arriving, Sana had been very responsive to any questions i had and was very prompt with responses throughout our stay as well. the moment we arrived, we were greeted by their friendly cat (the best way to start the stay) and then Sana welcomed us and showed us around. we were immediately enamoured with the charm of the place, and the view from our tent was so beautiful! the campsite amenities were thoughtful, comprehensive, and clean. i don't think i'd ever been camping with such clean and tidy amenities before! and they even had complimentary eggs for us from their chicken coop! so sweet! each tent was far enough from each other to offer ample privacy while also not feeling too isolated. our tent specifically came with a rope hammock to lay in! this is indeed a very romantic spot so perfect for any couples celebrating. i would definitely visit again and recommend to my friends! thank you Sana! :)

I stayed in Tent #2 with my sister and it exceeded our expectations. The view was unreal, everything was so clean, bed was comfortable and only a short little inclined walk to the bathroom. William came and lit the fire for us at the lookout so we could watch the sun set over the pacific. I highly recommend this site!

Weekend Trip to Delta Respite

Ceci and Steve were so warm and accommodating for my dog and I last minute. I couldn't have imagined a better place to reset. This was my first time using hipcamp. I was set on finding a cozy inn to retreat to for the weekend and get somewriting done. Of course everything was booked or insanely expensive so I turned to hipcamp and I truly couldn't have planned it better. The cabin had everything I needed to be comfortable. You could really tell that so much thought went into every little detail. From the clawfoot tub, to porch with the little fenced in yard. Every light was on a dimmer! I was so charmed by this as someone who works with light a lot (photographer) and love creating ambiance! Clearly they poured their hearts into creating such an amazing space. I kept joking to my friends the cabin was like a storybook and I felt like I was the Celestial Seasons Bear. They were both so sweet to my dog Beaux and we had lots of nice walks around the property and beyond. Only downside was it was a bit muggy and buggy at times so definitely prepare if you're sensitive to mosquitos or other critters. This was no fault of Ceci & Steve's and to be expected when visiting the Delta! Oh, and there really were so many amazing birds to view and the sound of birdsong and coyotes throughout the day and night. The whole experience was so dreamy and relaxing and I definitely want to go back!
