The adventure begins with the drive out to Point San Pablo Harbor—a hidden marina and waterfront valley that feels like stepping back in time to a slower pace of life surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. This cozy Hive glamping cabin sits just above the Harbor and farm, a short walk to the beach with unobstructed views over the marina and San Pablo Bay, offering a peaceful place to relax while exploring this unique property. The nearby loop trail offers fantastic views of the shoreline and surrounding landscape. Boats come and go from the marina while seabirds circle overhead, creating a constantly changing waterfront scene. One of the highlights of staying here is the Harbor’s beloved Sailing Goat Restaurant, open Friday through Sunday, where guests can enjoy brunch, dinner, and sunset drinks overlooking the bay. From spring through fall, the Harbor hosts the Live on the Waterfront concert series, which can add to your overnight experience. Guests can enjoy both beautiful sunrises and glowing sunsets over the water, making the Harbor a wonderful place to start and end the day. During the week, the Harbor becomes quiet and sleepy, filled mostly with the sounds of the farm and surrounding wildlife. Fall asleep to the peaceful rhythm of the Harbor and wake up to fresh bay air. Things to Experience During Your Stay: --Visit the Sailing Goat Restaurant --Explore the Harbor’s 7 large outdoor art installations --Hike the nearby loop trail --Walk to the beach and swim --Walk to the end of the jetty past the houseboats --Watch boats coming and going in San Pablo Bay --Feed the goats --Enjoy sunrise and sunset views over San Pablo Bay THE HIVE CABIN Inside you'll find: --Comfortable queen bed with a picture window overlooking the marina --Storage space under the bed --Electric kettle & French press --Filtered water --Coffee, tea, mugs, and glasses --Electricity for phone charging, lights, & heating --Table and chairs on the front deck There is no refrigerator or cooking setup inside the cabin; however, guests have access to a free ice machine. Bathroom: Clean flush toilets with sinks are located about 20 feet away from the cabin. Point San Pablo Harbor is a hidden destination in the Bay Area with a whimsical, creative vibe.

A shower is also available at the Club. Towels are provided in the room. Dogs are not allowed inside the Hives, but allowed on property on leash. Bayview Hive Cabin 1
It’s been about two weeks since I stayed at the hives on Yaella’s land and I am already plotting my return! I brought my 83 year old mother and 17 year old daughter, and they were both thrilled to be there too. The hives are new and clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable, but my favorite part is the big windows that open and overlook the bay!

Amazing bed with Bay view

The Hive is so efficient and cozy. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets and comforter made it so I didn’t want to get up. Waking up with a view of the Bay and the quiet sound of animals was very peaceful. The bathrooms are clean and convenient. I’ll be back!

Escape with Point San Pablo Harbor

The Hive experience at Point San Pablo Harbor was truly exceptional! I enjoyed the sweet, respectful goats that roam around during the day, as well as the beautiful nature that makes up the farm. My favorite activity in the area was swimming using the access just next to the docks that house the shower (which was amazing!). I also walked a long way along the San Pablo Bay Trail to Good Hot just for fun, which, despite the distance, was very enjoyable, especially at sunset. The hives themselves were such an incredible, minimalist space, and I appreciated the view from the window that opened, letting in the sea breeze, the ambient lighting, and the deck space they sat on. The Sailing Goat unfortunately ran out of gas when I was there (so prepare for that remote possibility) and opened after checkout. The others on the property and the harbor staff/residents were very kind and enhanced my experience. I can't wait to return, whether for another adventure on the bay or one of the harbor's fun events!

A little piece of Paradise!
Bayview Hive Cabin 1
I spent a lovely weekend at this Hipcamp in Point San Pablo. The waterfront view from inside the cabin (called a hive) was absolutely beautiful. I loved seeing the houseboats and the other boats coming and going in the marina. It really felt like being tucked away on a peaceful farm, far from everything, hearing the goats and chickens in the background. One of my favorite moments was sitting out on the deck with my morning coffee, just soaking in the quiet and the scenery with my companion. The surrounding area added so much to the experience too. I loved the on site restaurant with live music, walking around and exploring the many art installations, and hiking the "loop" with amazing views. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, and clearly someone with an eye for detail and beauty put it all together. It's a short drive from the city, but feels like a true escape. I loved the unique, friendly laid-back vibe. I’d definitely come back.
