It was a real pleasure to stay here and so enjoyable that we stayed an additional night. The site was immaculate and all laid out very neatly and is well located to vineyards that are walking distance or a short uber into Healdsburg for the restaurants there.

We had an amazing time! The place is peaceful with stunning views all around. The Antic Room is absolutely gorgeous, and the bathroom feels like its own little art gallery—such a unique and beautiful space where you can also just hang out and relax. The hot tub is perfectly placed to soak in the surrounding nature, and at night, you can enjoy the stars from there—truly magical. Bill was super helpful and kind, and waking up to delicious coffee, fresh fruits, and cake was such a lovely touch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Weekend Trip to Moon Bear Lodge

We loved the tree house! We had such a magical time together here— from star gazing in the hot tub, to creature sightings (we saw a little fox and a skunk), drinking hot coco in the robes they provided, and soaking up the beauty of the redwoods and wild flowers! Jessica and her family were the most incredible hosts! They even sent us home with a bag of freshly picked Santa Rosa lemons. We had the most magical time and will certainly be back to this incredible oasis!

Weekend Trip to Estero San Antonio Wonderland

The camper was in a very peaceful, beautiful spot! The amenities at the farm stand were fantastic. The color of the egg shells were so pretty and the yolks were a deep orange. I would definitely stay here again, it’s close to a lot of great places and I appreciate the philosophy of the farmers (regenerative grazing, hedgerows, integrated pest management).

Sirima and Walter were top notch hosts! I felt a kindred spirit with everyone I met on the farm. The setting is beautiful! Proximity to Bolinas (and Stinson Beach) are ideal. I was in a paddle boarder’s dream for three days! I chose to camp in inclement weather and their excellent covered dinning/cooking/bathroom amenities made it MUCH more comfortable even though I had waterproof equipment. Will be back with the wife ASAP.

We loved camping on a working farm. Sirima and Walter have created a wonderful place to be, with their sheep, chickens, bees and gardens and most of all their hospitality and gentle spirits. They shared their love of connecting with the land in a way that is fundamentally instinctive.

We had a perfect stay at the Tunitas Beach Airstream. The location is unbeatable—epic views and quiet solitude but easy access to grocery, restaurants, hikes, beaches, and more. The mighty little Airstream had everything we needed and more, and Deano was very responsive and clear with instructions and troubleshooting help. Hope to be back soon!

2 nights at Dreamy California Coast Airstreams

I stayed at the Cool California Coast Airstream and it was one of the most relaxing, unique experiences I’ve had. Although we didn’t have a direct view of the beach, we had the gorgeous view of the ocean and sunset. The Airstream was spotless, stylish and cozy with all the little details thoughtfully provided — from a comfy bed to a fully stocked kitchenette. The outdoor setup was just as amazing with peaceful ocean breezes and gorgeous views. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and comfort. Mark was responsive and made everything easy. Whether you want to disconnect, celebrate a birthday or anniversary or just explore the coast, this place is a hidden gem. I will be coming back and be booking the entire lot with my family next time!

1 night at Kings Mountain Camp w/ ocean views

My friend and I had a lovely overnight at Kings Mountain Camp. It was thoughtfully furnished and we had everything we needed, except maybe a knife and cutting board. The hot shower was great, the bathroom was clean, the trails were a little steep and rocky when carrying bags, but otherwise, had good signage and were easy to navigate. Great views, awesome hammock/deck in tent 2. Would recommend!

Weekend Trip to Salmon Creek Ranch

The campsite was fantastic! It was secluded, clean, and John was nice enough to let our group borrow a pot to use to cook chili! This campsite is great for larger groups as you can reserve more than one campsite. The meadow was great for stargazing and other activities. The trails were nice and had lots of wildlife. I would definitely recommend this campsite and would love to return sometime in the future.

Weekend Trip to Blackberry Farm

Tent camping at a farm has always been a wishful thinking kind of thing. I didn’t know it was possible to stay at a farm so this was such an exciting discovery. The farm is beautiful and has a magical charm about it from the spacious camping grounds, to the common area which had a good size kitchen, lounging space, dining space, showers, a hot tub, and bathrooms with plumbing. We made full use of the kitchen. They have pans, dishes and other useful items if you were unable to bring any or enough. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. Be prepared for a cold shower though or you can ask for help if someone is available. Greg was very helpful with adding propane that we wished we had asked sooner. It was a treat observing the chickens, wild bunnies and quail, sheep, alpaca, and hearing the cayotes, various birds and frogs at night. I love nature sounds so sleeping was not an issue. If nature sounds aren’t your thing, bring earplugs or headphones. We especially loved how we could purchase farm fresh eggs in their barn via Venmo. Delicious as we cooked them for breakfast twice in a row. The town of Bolinas captured our hearts. We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Moon Bear Lodge

It's hard to know where to start, but it's easy to say that your time here will make it feel hard to leave. The land and the space the owners have created is the ultimate retreat. From the serenity circle with it's warm firepit, to the hammocks and swings where you can lay with a good book, or the coziest treehouse, where after you adventure up the ladder you get to wrap yourself in blankets and nap on a human-sized beanbag. They have a hot tub where you can watch the sun set behind the mountains, kayaks to adventure on the russian river, private yoga lessons, massage treatments if you need some relaxation, mountain bikes for the many local trails...the list goes on. The town is also absolutely adorable and just down the road. I would come back and definitely stay awhile.

The family farm and residence were established during the late 1970s on the site of the historic Peter’s Dairy Ranch. The original farmhouse dates back to the late 19th century and survived the great 1906 earthquake. Today, the 7-acre farm is being restored to sustainably support fruit orchards, cottage flower and kitchen gardens, honey bees, a boisterous flock of chickens, and naughty shetland sheep. Our self-serve farmstand attached to our barn has seasonal flowers, organic eggs, heirloom fruit, and local goods from the farm. Our property is the perfect rustic getaway for backpackers and outdoor enthusiasts. You’ll be surrounded by farm/ranch life: chickens clucking, roosters crowing, bees buzzing, and sheep bleating. Salmon Creek Ranch

Located within 45 minutes of the wine country and 2 miles from the coast, our property is 400 acres of rolling hills and redwood groves, with a creek running along its base. With miles of trails meandering through quiet woods and meadows, you will be able to revel in the tranquility of a private preserve, without sacrificing easy access to some of Sonoma County's most famous attractions. A hundred years ago, this land was used to graze sheep. Remnants of the old fence lines can still be seen in places, along with old cement troughs. Since then, the land has been left to its own devices, passing through many hands, most famously owned by two brothers in the 1980's who built a truly amazing tree house in the forest which has been featured in several magazine articles. It was revamped and updated in 2016 by a master craftsman, using fallen redwood logs found on the property and is now a unique structural work of art, available for overnight stays. We produce 100% grass fed, dry-aged beef on our certified organic pastures and have a store on site if you would like to purchase delicious steaks, ribs, ground beef for hamburgers or some roasts to take home. Our cattle graze on the native grasses, never grain, and drink only water produced from our own springs. We also raise Kiko meat goats and produce pastured, certified organic duck eggs on a commercial basis. Whether it's surfing at sandy beaches, award-winning clam chowder, a wine tour, horseback riding or a hot air balloon ride you're after, you won't have far to drive if you make our ranch your base camp. You may see a family of deer appear suddenly, or a few Scottish Highland cows which we allow to roam freely over the property. There are over twenty species of wild birds that grace this protected spot, so bring your binoculars! A portion of your fee goes towards protecting native flora and fauna as part of our private wildlife preservation program. The cost is $150 per night on weekends (Fri and Sat) and $125 per night on weekdays (Sun-Thurs). There is a 2-night minimum stay required between Memorial Day and Labor Day. In our family-friendly campground, our tents are 16-Foot Canvas and come with a queen-size bed, futon lounge chairs (May be converted to twin beds), rugs, tables, lighting, and complementary firewood the first night. At no additional cost, we can add up to two twin beds to each tent upon request to sleep up to 6 people. 8 people max allowed at the campsite. The glamping sites include a picnic table, fire ring, outdoor seating, and room for additional tents if desired. All sites are easy walking distance to flush toilets and a bathhouse, with large, clean, coin operated hot shower rooms. There is no cell service in the park, but free WiFi is available at the Visitor Center. PLEASE NOTE that Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets) IS NOT included in a standard rental, but is available as an add-on. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bedding whenever possible. If no bedding is added, we will assume a one-queen setup with mattress covers only. We kindly ask guests to provide at least 48-hour notice if bedding will be required. Enjoy this beautiful land and gardens in our new geo dome! This dome is nestled in the lush succulent and cacti gardens and has beautiful sunset views. On the property are two large greenhouses that were originally built by Herman Schwartz in the 70s. The greenhouses were abandon for many years and are undergoing restoration, however, they are still magnificent with some cacti being 40-50 years old! Guests are welcome to tour them and the property where there is also a beautiful pond. This property is the perfect peaceful getaway. In the dome, we have floor pads, a space heater, side tables and a lamp. We advise to bring your own bedding. Temperatures do drop so please plan accordingly. Bathrooms with sinks are near the dome. During the week, we have an outdoor preschool on the property so you might see little tables and play areas around the land.

We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We offer full hookups which consists of 50 amp & 110 volt electrical outlets, potable water, sewage dump. We also have a pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County wine country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. We are close to places like Armstrong Woods, Safari West, Getaway Adventures, The Sonoma County Fairgrounds which hosts the Summer Country Concerts among other events, Harmony Festival, Santa Rosa Full Camp; Half Marathons Camp; 5K, Sonoma Zip-line Adventures, and Much More! For you foodies there are Savor Food Tours, Relish Culinary Adventures in addition to all the incredible restaurants in town. There is so much to do and see in our beautiful part of the world. Welcome to Wise Oak Farm, a unique tiny house compound on 5 acres located between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. The stay area consists of four buildings, the main one being a super cozy tiny house built on a 16' trailer, filled with custom woodwork and unique details. It sleeps up to four and has a kitchen (sink, microwave/oven, mini fridge, and propane stove) and small dining area. Immediately adjacent is a luxury "outhouse" with full sized hot shower and a composting toilet. There is an additional converted farm shed with a pull out couch and TV to relax comfortably indoors (the "rec room"). The outdoor area consists of a breakfast patio and large barn with couches and dining table. We are just starting to develop the property as a working farm. Currently we have a dozen chickens, 30+ fruit trees, and cows pasturing in the main field. The location is fantastic for exploring the area. In the middle of wine country, it's only a thirty minute drive to the coast or to the redwoods, and one hour from San Francisco. Plus easy access to the bike path leading to both Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. Weather issues: The tiny house has heating but no AC, which is not normally an issue unless daytime temperatures are in the mid 90s or higher. Summer nighttime temps are usually in the 50s and the space cools rapidly with windows open. The rec room has both heating and AC, which can be slept in in the case of extreme temperatures. In the winter, heavy rainfall can make the stay unpleasant as you need to move outside frequently between buildings.
