Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too! We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We are Kevin and Tammii. We moved to Mesa in 2019 to build our own “Field of Dreams”. In developing our property we added a Hip-Camp site to our vision. We’ve enjoyed hosting people from all around the country. We’re can accommodate guests for up to three weeks and unable to offer monthly rates. We welcome families with up to two children. Pets are welcome, two or less, and we have a designated pet area for their use. There are two nice sitting areas, a laundry shed with washer, dryer, and drying rack. Internet access is also available. More about the “Field of Dreams”: Our site has a paved level concrete pad with 50 amp service, water, and septic. RVs are required to come with empty holding tanks because of the septic system. We can accommodate up to 43 feet in length RVs. There is a nice landscaped patio area with table, chairs, umbrella, and a privacy screen. There is also a propane fire pit available. Our site is close to Costco, Starbucks, local restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and a mall. There is nearby mountain biking, hiking, and site seeing. We are 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix in a quiet residential area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sherry’s! They had the gate open and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The place was perfect for our needs! We were visiting friends for a couple of days and this place was only 7 minutes away. The lot is level it might take a minute to get backed in if you are inexperienced. I was able to back my 38ft diesel pusher in on the first try! The owners are right next door if you have any questions or they will leave you alone if you wish. Full hookups are a plus. 50/30 amp service. Walking distance from downtown. We would definitely stay there again.

Palo Verde Retreat was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The site was thoughtfully set up with a table and seating area, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. The host even had lights strung up around the space, which I’m sure looked lovely at night… although I have to admit, I fell asleep before dark and didn’t get to enjoy them! Overall, it was a wonderful place to unwind and disconnect. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm, restful stay.

This spot was fantastic!! Nice and private on our part and the hosts part. We did not feel like we were intruding on her space and she kept her distance making us feel like it was our own private spot. The views were beautiful. It was nice being in town and close to everything but not feeling like we were in the middle of the city! The animals were a huge bonus. Our boys loved seeing them and hearing them every morning. The communication was fantastic. The rules/expectations were very clear and reasonable. We will definitely keep this in mind for future travels.
