We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village located 50 minutes from the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 on the east side of the highway is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it. Other things to note: From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain. Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions. I just wanna put this out there we were running behind in our trip and made a last minute booking at this place. A very small park believe it has about 10 spots one was open thank god. 50/30 amp fhu sites good water pressure so showering in coach was a dream(no bath house which is not a req for us ). Sites had ample room and a small lava rock base level site. WiFi is free and fast streaming was not an issue. They have a garden, fresh eggs (well behaved chickens on site )and various other things you may need. Laundry on site. Various indoor activities in case of rain in their lodge, and exercise equipment lounge area with tv. For a small business this place was great. Owners are on site and available to answer questions etc. Everything here works on an honor system which is amazing and hope it stays that way. Pets welcome. It doesn’t have all the amenities of a big park which was ok with us we like the quite. Owners make a point to talk with everyone and that personal touch to us means everything!!! If you’re in the area and need a place to stay 5 stars all day long from us! Everything I forgot should be in the pics also they rent absolutely gorgeous tiny homes if that’s what you’re looking for. Plenty of things to do close by as well! — feeling relaxed with Lynn Kahn at Grand Canyon Oasis.

Spencer was a super nice guy! He allowed us to do a late arrival. Area was very quiet & peaceful! He didn't have septic yet but is in the process of putting it in right now - looks close to done.
