Grand Canyon Oasis High Desert Camp

5 sites · RVs9 acres · Coconino
We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village near the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. Let us know if you want to borrow a telescope to explore the darkest night sky you have ever seen! We are excited to share our home with you!

Grand Canyon Dome (The Launch Pad)

2 sites · Lodging1 acre · Williams, Coconino
This gateway to the Grand Canyon is brimming with breathtaking views and unique wildlife. My family and I (wife and three young children) are the nomad-type who travel the world. We bought this land full of dreams of launching many more adventures. Since then, God has blessed us with many memories and we never grow weary of this glorious canopy under the heavens only a 30-40 minute drive of Grand Canyon National Park. We have worked very hard to create a beautiful shelter to launch more adventures for many other travelers who journey through this amazing land. Launch from this "pad" (about a mile from the local airport, RV park, and gas station) into your next journey into the Grand Canyon. Adventure awaits! You can literally see the South Rim of the Grand Canyon from the property (look North)! The inside of the dome is incredibly relaxing and completes the glamping experience with a king-sized memory foam mattress. There is an exterior bathroom and shower structure (the shower requires some assembly). We provide potable water but we recommend you bring 1 gallon of drinking water per day of your stay (per guest). Example: 2 guests for 2 nights=4 gallons of drinking water. It is the desert within eyeshot of the Grand Canyon, so water does run low (at times) please come prepared with water.

Mt. Humphrey Retreat

6 sites · RVs, Tents25 acres · Fort Valley, Coconino
We are nestled in between Mt. Humphrey and the White Horse Hills and gratefully border National Forest on two sides of our 25 acre property. We want to share our secluded, peaceful piece of land with other nature loving people. Welcome! Learn more about this land: 25 acres of beautiful heavily wooded forest to park your RV/trailer or to pitch your tent on! A rooftop tent campsite is available to rent for $40 per night. It comes with a stove and cooking utensils. We are 100% off grid and are surrounded by Ponderosa Pine off of highway 180, 30 minutes outside of Flagstaff. Rest assured, only trees, wildlife and silence will surround you! Beautiful, unobstructed views of Mt. Humphrey are available on the east side and property is secured by a locked gate every night. Only scheduled visitors will be allowed onto property. Except for our small cabin and shed at the end of our long driveway, this is undeveloped land. Guests will need to veer off driveway into the forest. Tree stumps may need to be avoided !We are within walking distance to the Arizona Trail, Abineau and Bear Jaw trails and located near Bismarck Lake, Crater Lake, and White Horse Hills. Guided hikes are available upon request as well as evening guided meditations! Fire rings will be placed randomly around the property and may be used only when fire bans are not in place. Fires are not allowed anywhere else on the land, unless you bring your own fire pit and it is approved by the owner. Water can be purchased to fill RV tanks or storage containers at main house. Firewood is also available for purchase. Wildlife proliferates our land. It is not unusually to catch a glimpse of bear, skunk, porcupine, deer, elk, and coyote. While these animals are quite shy, we do not wish for them to be drawn in by food. Therefore garbage needs to be contained at all times and left either in your vehicle or RV at night. If you are a backpacker, owner will dispose of any garbage you may have for a small fee.
