The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. During winter you MUST have a 4WD vehicle to access the property, particularly if there has been a significant snowfall recently. During a snowy period, access may require either cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling to the property from the main highway (approx 2.1 miles). If you get stuck on the road it will be your own responsibility. Please check with the owner a couple days prior to your visit to check on road conditions during the winter!
Pets must be well behaved and cleaned up after, including excessive animal hair. Leash laws apply to Coconino National Forest. Please do not book the Glamper Cabin if you plan to bring a pet which is known to be aggressive or unpredictable in nature, including breeds or mixed breeds such as pitbulls, rottweilers, bullmastiff and American Bulldog. We offer a RURAL, rustic camping experience. Our property is off-grid thus we cannot offer you any sort of facilities or services at this time. We chose Outpost in our name because we believe it provides an accurate description: An outpost is a remote, isolated station, settlement, or camp located at a distance from the main body.
Our property is 7.4 miles down a dirt Indian Route road through a significant wash and while 4 wheel drive is ideal, you can make it in nice weather conditions without 4 wheel drive. Keith’s sister made it in her Chevrolet Sonic, for example. Large RVs may scrape along the way; we did with our 40' fifth wheel.
Our 60 acre property offers a unique experience for those looking for a place to unplug and explore with plenty of privacy and room to roam. You'll enjoy incredible views of the Painted Desert, Gray Mountain, and the San Francisco peaks. The night skies will be unlike anything you’ve seen unless you have been in the middle of the ocean with no light pollution.
Some important things to note about our property:
Our property will always and forever be a Safe Place for all people. We hold no prejudices regardless of race, ethnicity, or creeds. Our guests will always be respected, loved and welcome and it must be that way with other guests.
We are a clothing optional campground, which means you may, if you so choose, be naked on our property.
We are pet-friendly. We have two medium size puppies. Let's ensure our furry friends have as much fun as we are having by keeping them on a leash and we clean up after them. We also wouldn't want them to chase away the wild mustangs, which are beautiful to see in full gallop, that will come through the property from time to time.
NOTICE: As a rural desert location you or your pet may encounter wildlife (nice and not so nice ones) while on the property or hiking around in the wilderness.

You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. During a snowy period, access may require either cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling to the property from the main highway (approx 2.1 miles). If you get stuck on the road it will be your own responsibility. Please check with the owner a couple days prior to your visit to check on road conditions during the winter!
Pets must be well behaved and cleaned up after, including excessive animal hair. Leash laws apply to Coconino National Forest. We offer a RURAL, rustic camping experience. Our property is off-grid thus we cannot offer you any sort of facilities or services at this time. We chose Outpost in our name because we believe it provides an accurate description: An outpost is a remote, isolated station, settlement, or camp located at a distance from the main body.
Our property is 7.4 miles down a dirt Indian Route road through a significant wash and while 4 wheel drive is ideal, you can make it in nice weather conditions without 4 wheel drive. Keith’s sister made it in her Chevrolet Sonic, for example. Large RVs may scrape along the way; we did with our 40' fifth wheel.
Our 60 acre property offers a unique experience for those looking for a place to unplug and explore with plenty of privacy and room to roam. You'll enjoy incredible views of the Painted Desert, Gray Mountain, and the San Francisco peaks. The night skies will be unlike anything you’ve seen unless you have been in the middle of the ocean with no light pollution.
Some important things to note about our property:
Our property will always and forever be a Safe Place for all people. We hold no prejudices regardless of race, ethnicity, or creeds. Our guests will always be respected, loved and welcome and it must be that way with other guests.
We are a clothing optional campground, which means you may, if you so choose, be naked on our property.
We are pet-friendly. We have two medium size puppies. Let's ensure our furry friends have as much fun as we are having by keeping them on a leash and we clean up after them. We also wouldn't want them to chase away the wild mustangs, which are beautiful to see in full gallop, that will come through the property from time to time.
NOTICE: As a rural desert location you or your pet may encounter wildlife (nice and not so nice ones) while on the property or hiking around in the wilderness.

Felt like I was far away from everything but wasn’t. I had a boondocking spot. Flat site. Nice big dog park. Great location north of flagstaff where there wasn’t many camping options. Clubhouse was set
With games, exercise equipment, washer and dryer, tv. Would be a great place to hide from the wind or cold weather if needed. Right next to the highway so some traffic noise. It wasn’t that bad except the occasional big truck. I’d definitely would stay again!

Charming owners, so friendly and welcoming. Great room with pool tables and games etc. Work out equipment available as well. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through but access was easy and loved the view looking east. Will stay again when traveling through the area!

I really enjoyed staying here. Shelly and Adam have gone above and beyond making their campsite feel like a welcome community for nomads like me. It's close enough to the tourist spots to enjoy them, and far enough away to be away from the crowds when it's time to relax and reset.

We loved our stay at Luciano’s place!! He was so nice and very helpful. We got in late at night, and he helped us drive up to the site and provided us with some solar lights and a portable toilet. The site was gorgeous, and remote enough to feel secluded and private, but also close enough to help in case we needed anything. I would 100% recommend staying here. It was very peaceful and a great reset. Our dogs loved the place too!

WOW, what am amazing place to stay, relax, watch the sunrise, sunset and the starry sky. Easy access to Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon and the surrounding national monuments. They have room for all size RVs, tents, and boondockers. Shelly and Adam have done an amazing job with this place, including a new dog park. The Lodge has exercise equipment, a comfy sofa for tv viewing, a pool table, ping pong table and air hockey. They have food, snacks and fresh eggs for purchase. We were there 11 nights and hated to leave.

We had a wonderful time at Branch Out Glamping! The bed was very comfortable and facilities were clean. It was a great place to wind down after visiting the Grand Canyon and the stars were breathtaking! One small note- you do need to drive for a few miles on very bumpy terrain, so make sure your car + passengers are up for it!

An awesome spot to spend a little time. Convenient to several interesting sites that most people just drive by. We dry camped, lots of solar coming in. Also have laundry on site. You do notice a little road noise from Hwy 89, but not unbearable. Defiantly will spend a couple nights here when passing through in the future.

Our family of six had an amazing four night stay at this perfect cabin. Our four kids loved splitting wood, pumping water, and all things about off-the-grid living. The wood burning stove kept us toasty and entertained. We read and played games including a very serious tournament of capture the flag! It was also amazing to fall asleep hearing a bit of rain but waking to a covering of snow! This was also a good base for a day trip to the Grand Canyon. I loved being out of range of WiFi and cell service; a helpful reset for the first half of a family adventure.
