Did you know there's a secret new cut through road to Zion National Park from our area which makes us 40 mins away!? We offer one of the coolest, safest, cleanest and most popular boutique campgrounds in the region. Zion is the 3rd most visited park in the US, so when we had an opportunity to purchase property in a rural area outside of the park, we jumped on it. Our space is 3 stunning acres just off the paved road surrounded by hundreds of acres in all directions that are empty cattle fields and BLM land. You can literally hike into the hills from our property. We have 3 water and power hook ups that are ideal for vans or small trailer/RVs. WE DO NOT HAVE A SEPTIC DUMP on site but one close by that is free. We have shade structures, a BBQ area, a propane firepit (no wood fires in summer please! too dry). Propane is a $5 per use additional fee daily via Venmo if you want to use the firepit or the BBQ. We purchased the property from a family down the road and they have helped us develop out the piece we have. Currently we park a trailer on it that we rent out, plus we have 1 glamp tent, 1 little cabin, 1 camping platform and a few areas for tents and vanlifers to pull up! We have a group site with it's own kitchen/BBQ area. There's a bath house with 2 flushing toilets an outhouse and an outdoor heated shower. We also have a great outdoor kitchen with everything you need to cook a great meal! Stove, pots and pans, dishes, etc! Our property is 40 minutes to Springdale with a secret locals cut through. We are 20 minutes away from Coral Pink Sand Dunes state park (you can rent sand boards there) 25 minutes to Hurricane. We are 5 minutes away from a great grocery store (Bee's Market) with EVERYTHING! Just past that is a great microbrewery and pizza place called Edge of the World. Basically you get the quiet and dark skies at night, which are perfect for camping, but creature comforts of a bathroom, outdoor shower, Wifi, firepits and BBQ. We have cool art, horseshoe put, an outdoor kitchen with stove and all the cooking utensils and pots and accessories you need! Hot water is really hot! We have 2 kitchens!! Land Beyond Zion is available for group rentals and great if you are trying to plan a camp out with numerous people, but struggling to find a campground that will accommodate. We are kid friendly, dog friendly, BIPOC, LGBTQ and senior friendly. We are not an RV park but can accommodate some smaller rigs, so reach out to us if you are interested in staying. We have room for a skoolie if it's the right size! Up to 24-26 feet vans and skoolies. Inquire if your rig is bigger. DOGS IMPORTANT!!! If you have a dog we ask that you please keep it near you at all times. If there are other dogs on the property you will need to leash up dogs. Also, please walk the property and pick up poop!!! We ask for a $10 fee for dogs. Please pay to our venmo (@shantihodges) Please respect that we increase prices for more people in your group as this has impact on our space. We only have so many showers, bathrooms and space for all and we like to not get super crowded. Children are the exception, but please let us know how many folks are in your group when you reserve. The Writer's Nook

Warm and Wonderful Stay in November

I loved staying at the Writer's Nook. It was so cozy inside during the chilly November nights. The shower and bathrooms were warm and clean, too. The community kitchen area had everything that I needed to make some yummy meals.

Dog/kid-friendly slice of heaven

Our stay at Land Beyond Zion was simply magical. Willow and Shanti were so responsive when we needed anything and had amazing tips for our trip (Willow even watched our dog so we could go to Zion). The property itself is so gorgeous and incredibly kid and dog-friendly. Our family loved hanging out with Sunny, the sweet pup on site (we miss you, Sunny!). We just got back to LA and we are already looking forward to planning our next trip here. The space was super cute and well curated for travelers. We really enjoyed the community fire pit & kitchen which allowed us to to meet other travelers and get us out of our shell. Bathrooms were clean and HEATED. Such a luxury. We even got an unexpected little snow fall during our stay which really added to the magic. 100% best camping trip ever all thanks to this little hidden gem. Thank you Shanti & Willow!!

This place is awesome!! So unique and all the amenities!!! Wish the sites were a little more spread out, but the kitchen was so well stocked and cool, bathroom and shower so clean and super fun and there is even a hot tub!!!

The Writer's Nook

Rootsy, peacefuls sanctuary

Shanti’s camp is truly divine. The land was easy to find, even though we showed up after dark. I love how involved Shanti is with everything. She seems like she’s always developing new projects and amping things up. The vibe is immaculate. There is lots of beautiful artwork around the area. The shared kitchen is heated and lovely to cook in. She also has heated bathrooms and shower!! What more ask could you ask for? The bed was very clean and comfy in the nook. Outdoor seating was great, loved being so close to the firepit. Would highly recommend! Will return anytime I find myself back at Zion. Really felt like this place brought me back to my roots 🫶

Glamp Tent w/ heated bed!

Gray glampsite with character!

Very cool off the grid glampsite with a lot of character. The tent cabin was fantastic. Hot tub on grounds for a warm soak at night while stargazing. Would have lot more time here! Nearby to Zion and other great local hikes too.
