Prestigious ranch land offering peaceful dry camping among small juniper trees and tall native grasses. Enjoy sweeping views of the San Francisco Peaks while being just 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon National Park South Entrance. Convenient access to Highway 180 makes getting here easy, yet the property feels remote and quiet. Strong cell phone service is available throughout the area. The site has no utilities, providing a true off-grid experience. The property is fully fenced, with 16-foot-wide openings on opposite sides, allowing easy pull-through access for RVs or trailers of any size.The campsite includes a fully fenced 1-acre area with convenient pull-through openings. Guests are welcome to set up anywhere on the front half of the property, as long as the openings remain unobstructed. An RV dump station and fresh water fill are available at a restaurant in Valle, just 10 minutes west along Arizona State Route 180. For supplies and city shopping, Flagstaff is about 50 miles east, while Williams—a classic Western town with shops, dining, and attractions—is approximately 40 miles south.

Close to the Grand Canyon

I enjoyed staying at this site. While the land isn’t developed in any way (as described!)- it was a soft landing for my tent. The directions were great, although I missed the initial turn off the highway the first time. (Give yourself time to signal and slow down when gps indicates the turn is approaching). There was a balloon marker for added reassurance that you’re on the right road. The GPS took me exactly to the 16’ opening which was also helpful. Most of my time was spent at the Grand Canyon but I enjoyed an amazing full moon upon my return to camp. It was also peaceful. Unlike other spots I’ve stayed at, it didn’t appear to be ‘close to the host’. That may be of interest to other solo travelers. That was not something I thought to inquire about prior to this experience. Well worth the stay, especially with the Grand Canyon within a 30 minute drive.
