We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village located 50 minutes from the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 on the east side of the highway is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. Our sunsets and night star-gazing are just spectacular and we're enough off the beaten path that there's no crowds or traffic to deal with, but you are close to dining and area attractions.
This is a quiet, rural neighborhood and a peaceful farm that borders the National Forest for easy hiking and few neighbors. The farm animals do cluck, crow, whinny, neigh, baa, bleat, squeal, and oink at various times, including early morning.
There is one mile of a somewhat bumpy gravel road with hills to reach our neighborhood, so please make sure you are ready for that and have adequate towing power. The nearest services and dining are 5 minutes away. We are about 25-30 minutes to Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek,
and the popular red rock hiking sites. There are many wineries and dining right down the road to enjoy.
1 hour to Flagstaff, 2 hours to Phoenix.

We really appreciated being able to boondock at Grand Canyon Oasis. It was the perfect stop on our way home to CO. The views were beautiful, the location was super convenient, and on moonless nights the stars would be amazing. The facilities are fun and the hosts were very welcoming. One thing for anyone with pop up campers like we had, the Hwy is close and you do hear the road noise, so for light sleepers just take note. It wasn’t an issue at all for us and in full RVs or the tiny homes it’s probably not an issue either. I also appreciated how the property was set up as it felt very private, safe, and secure, despite being right off the hwy. Finally, while we didn’t have our dogs on this trip, they are pet friendly and working on a fenced dog area, which is a huge plus! I would definitely stay there again!

Very friendly staff. The area is perfect for stargazing, is located between both entrances for the Sunset Crater and Wupatki National Monument loop, and they even rent tiny homes for the night versus just having rv spots. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the clubhouse which has ping pong, darts, pool, skeeball, TV, books, arts and crafts supplies, etc. It's got options for fun for the whole family.

Great place! Shelley and Adam greeted us and showed us around and gave us all the info we needed. Adam is about to complete a large dog park on the property. Terrific lodge room w/kitchen, snacks, games ,TV, warm water restroom , ping pong, seating and a great family feel. Give these guys a shot. 5 stars!!

Stopped in for a quick overnighter. We were Boondocking so we didn’t use the amenities. The views of the snow cap peaks was beautiful from this location. Nice tiny house village. The owners were courteous and professional. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at Laura’s ranch! The property is beautiful and we loved seeing the goats and llamas. Laura was incredibly friendly and the campsite and facilities were perfect. We took the alternate route in with our Prius and had no issues navigating the dirt road.

Laura’s land was so lovely and peaceful! It was the perfect place to celebrate my sister’s birthday with a fire and a mostly warm shower! The creek was so beautiful. The road in was a bumpy so be aware when you’re driving in.

This is the place to be for Big Dark Skies. Horizon to horizon views, no neighbors, and no big cities nearby. As the listings say, also no amenities, and the dirt road is rutted (but not very long). It is very pleasant if you come prepared. I got some great milkyway photos with a DSLR and deep space photos through a telescope. There is just a hint of sky glow from Valle and from Flagstaff but it is very localized on the horizon.

The campground was so beautiful. It was very private, had a decent amount of space from other campsites. There was a nice amount of trees/ greenery. The bathroom was clean. Laura was so friendly and very kind. We didn’t have enough time to walk down to the creek but we’re definitely planning on going back and check it out.

Throughly enjoyed camping here. Laura is an exceptional host and grounds were great for with plenty of accommodations. Enjoyed meeting her animals animals and the history behind this happy lil farm.

Laura was super sweet! There were very clear instructions on how to get in! The bathroom was super clean it had a flushing toilet and running water. She also had farm animals that were so friendly. Her dogs are the absolute cutest and super friendly! The campsite was so nice and very spacious. It had a table and fire pit with logs to sit on! The walk to the creek was super pretty and well maintained! We really enjoyed staying here!

Beautiful property near the creek. Clean with a nice little bathroom set up. Laura was incredibly helpful and nice. Got a peek at the alpacas and goats in the morning. Some freeway noise from busy I-17, but other than that perfect place.

This spot was ideal for a one-night stop on my way to Sedona. All of the animals are very calm and friendly with people, especially the horses. The view of the mountains and stars is really beautiful. Holly and her family are very kind and welcoming, and also allow visitors their own space. I stayed at Sunset camp which is a patch near the gate, good for self-contained car/tent camping. Heard the roosters in the morning! Rustic and cool spot.

Where to go
Red Rock Country
A short drive south of Flagstaff, Arizona’s Red Rock Country is characterized by beautiful red sandstone rock formations and plenty of great hiking and camping opportunities. This region is also home to the bohemian-chic city of Sedona, which has some of the region's best spas, resorts, and art galleries.
Grand Canyon Area
Grand Canyon National Park is north of Flagstaff, with many visitors hitting the city specifically to visit the park. While the canyon and its surrounding national park are the star attraction in this wild region, there are other nearby areas to camp, hike, and play outside too, like in the Kaibab National Forest.
Phoenix Surrounds
If you're in the mood for a bit more urban adventure, the massive Phoenix metro area has you covered. Along with a variety of museums and other cultural attractions, you'll find hiking, camping, and swimming to the west of town in the Tonto National Forest.
When to go
The Flagstaff area attracts visitors throughout the year, with hot, dry summers and cool winters that sometimes get snowfall. Summer is busiest, with hot days and cool nights, when refreshing summer thunderstorms are not uncommon in July and August. For the most pleasant weather without the crowds, consider visiting between September and November, when area kids have already returned to school for the year, but temperatures have yet to drop.
