We have two RV spaces available for rent, each equipped with 30 amp/full hookups. Additionally, one of the spaces features a 50 amp outlet for added convenience.
Our property is just seconds away from the open desert, offering easy access to the great outdoors. Plus, we're only a minute or two from the river's free public launch ramp in Parker, perfect for water adventures.
One of our spaces is covered and can accommodate RVs up to 13 feet tall, providing shade and protection from the sun. The second space is ideal for smaller travel trailers and also offers some shade from the afternoon sun.
Whether you're traveling with friends or seeking a private getaway, our RV spaces are the perfect place to build lasting memories. We only book one party at a time, ensuring you have plenty of space and privacy during your stay. Enjoy the shade, extra parking, and complimentary WIFI, as well as access to a washer and dryer for your convenience.

If I could give Abi a million stars for hosting an amazing property, I would! Very well kept, amazing views (desert land/plants, sunset, night sky, sunrise, all of it!), beautiful artwork and mini trails, basically more than anyone can ask for at a campsite. My husband, dogs and I enjoyed camping here so much we plan to visit again. It was nice that the whole area was to ourselves, it felt very private and safe. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Dan’s place in Lake Havasu City was nothing short of amazing. Truly! This was our first Hipcamp experience, and wow — the bar has been set so high. The location was peaceful and scenic, felt very private, and it was located just a short walk to Castle Rock Bay where our Florida dogs had a blast splashed and played in the water together.
Dan was a b*tchin' host too! He was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the area’s land and wildlife. We even went on a rock-hunting adventure through the refuge together at sunrise — such a truly unique and special experience!
The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire experience felt safe, beautiful, and welcoming. We only stayed two nights, but honestly, we could have stayed a month. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a genuine, nature-filled Arizona stay! 🌵✨

Such a special spot. I slept out under the desert stars in complete solitude (except for the company of jackrabbits and Joshua Trees). Place has vibey but not excessive artistic touches—perfectly representative of the environment. Good spot to camp and have a small fire. I really enjoyed my stay!

Oh my goodness this place! It was heaven! You need to be comfortable being remote because it really is just you. But the stars are so beautiful, the sunset was stunning and there is something so special about the peace it brings being so secluded. Roads are pretty rough getting to the camp but worth every bump aha.

Making the trip along Route 66 and wanted a camp ground and found this super private property with picnic table, fire pit and fun art sculptures! My wife and the dogs loved roaming the property and exploring around! The time we went provided a beautiful purple sunset, did have alittle bit of rain but that didn’t stop us! Where do I start… First off, Jen was a fantastic host who was super accommodating. I can’t describe how amazing her hospitality was even during the end of the season. I truly believe in in her mission for spiritual healing in nature, especially those who suffer from PTSD. Second, the property is amazing that is rich in history. There’s so much to do and see without the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday crowds. It is perfect for those who are trying to get away from the busyness of life even just for a couple days. The views were breathtaking. The hiking was fantastic and the lake was super close. Third, then the night sky at this property is absolutely stunning. Looking up at the stars never seen more clear than any picture book or video. My favorite part was the silence of the area during the night. It was the same as or better than a hyperbaric chamber. This was absolutely what I was looking for to reset my mindset after the memorial Day weekend. I absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

I had the best time camping at Almo Lake. The campground was beautiful, had a bathroom, shower, kitchen area. It had it all. I did tent camping but I’ll be back with cooler temps and I plan to stay in the clamping tent. They are nice! I had dinner catered 2 nights and the food was delicious! I rented a kayak 2 days and the lake was so peaceful. I saw lots of wildlife. I def rec this camp ground and will be back! Thanks for an amazing solo camping trip ❤️

Camping at Dan's place was as expected. It's a pretty simple lot where you can pull in, set up, and stay a night or however long will little to no work. It was a level spot and had electric hookups. There was a fire pit and picnic table too. I'd stay there again if I was passing through like we were on this trip.

River Sands is a newer RV resort that offers long and short stay. We were only there a few days while traveling through. The Clubhouse is very nice with game tables, TVs, sitting areas, exercise room (lots of equipment) and bathrooms. The pool is beautiful and there is a hot tub available. Sites are gravel but lots of space between. The park is huge with over 300 spaces. Laundry room & showers are clean. If you want a picnic table you have to rent one. Because the park is so large, depending on where your site is, you will probably need to drive or rent a golf cart to get to the clubhouse, laundry, beach, dog park, or fishing lake. It would be nice to have more shaded areas (i.e., cabana/ramada areas). It gets pretty hot and very little shaded areas. We brought our dogs and I was concerned about their feet b burning as there are very few grassy areas, if any. The beach has some cabanas. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I'm certain in a few more years, when the vegetation has a chance to grow, it'll be absolutely beautiful.
