This is a peaceful campsite in the middle of North Americas largest Joshua Tree forest. There are saguaro cactus covered mountains nearby and an abundance of desert wildlife all around. Mountain views in every direction. Come explore this huge property and immerse yourself in nature. This campsite is nestled in the middle of the worlds largest Joshua Tree forest with 50 mile views down the valley to California. Mountains in every direction and sandy open space to set up your tent, trailer or whatever you're rolling with.
The site is on 40 acres and is extremely private. There is 1 acre cleared out for camping, including an elevated mound with panoramic views for incredible sunsets, sunrises and stargazing. There is a fun slide for kids!
The price is for up to 4 people and it's $5 per additional guest. Please enter the correct amount of people into your booking and contact me if your group is larger than 10. We only accept one booking at a time, this way you will have the whole property to yourself. You're welcome to explore the entire 40 acres.
There is a picnic table and a large fire pit with a grill, as well as an outhouse with a pit toilet (bring your own fire wood and toilet paper). Other than that, there aren't any amenities here, so come prepared and bring plenty of water!
Lots of wildlife in the area - jackrabbits, roadrunners, chipmunks, lizards etc. You may hear coyotes howling. This is the middle of the desert, so please be mindful of potentially dangerous wildlife like snakes and scorpions... they are rare to encounter but are around.
Pets are very welcome, we just ask that you pick up after them if they go on the mound / cleared out camping area.
There is no garbage disposal, please take all of your trash and recyclables with you when you leave.
The campsite is 5 miles from a paved road, the dirt road can be sandy in spots, so you'll need to be mindful of that.
The site is approximately 40 minutes to Lake Havasu City and 40 minutes to Kingman in the opposite direction. 20 mins to Area 66 UFO museum in Yucca. Saguaro covered mountains just down the road from the campsite.

we LOVED our stay here!! after a stressful & long drive we were nervous about the winds which were reported to be up to 20mph in Yucca that night. somehow this campsite ended up being the LEAST windy place in town; when we returned from dinner at the indian restaurant down the road (trust me, just go there!!!), we realized that the wind had quieted down. the stargazing potential at this site is unreal and there is plenty of wildlife if you keep your eyes peeled. 10/10!!

Total solitude with a creative vibe
Camping on Abi's land was an unforgettable experience. Far enough out there to be as silent as you can imagine, but not super remote. The directions led me easily to the spot, and the artful flair, and solar lights provide a warm welcome upon arrival. Make sure you are there for at least one sunset, it is amazing! I enjoyed walking around the property discovering all of the creative pieces, as well as being greeted by a small group of cattle on one morning. It is a bit difficult finding firewood for sale nearby, so come prepared. That was my one mistake. This one is a repeat for sure!

Campsite was easy to find and was a wonderfully relaxing getaway for the weekend! The star watching is incredible, and we encountered some friendly wildlife. Gorgeous views during sunrise and sunset.

I loved tent camping under the stars at Dilly Dally Den—both the sunset and sunrise will leave you with your mouth wide open and heart just shimmering. The dirt road to the site is easily accessible by lower clearance vehicles—and leaves you far enough away from civilization to feel real held in nature. Would recommend!

Excellent place
What a cool place! It's in a huge grid of named dirt roads (easily passable) but once you get there you wouldn't know it. It felt private (no neighbors around for what felt like miles) but not secluded (great wide open sky with some beautiful Joshua trees). Host was really communicative and helpful with directions and answering questions. We had a great time!
