Our 3 sights are all level gravel, 50amp, 30amp and 1 non hookup site.
Imagine yourself sitting out in the warm evenings looking up at the wonderous, star filled sky. Or watching the sun set over the Hualapai Mountains, or getting up early to catch the sun rising over the Aquarius Mountains.
The Hualapai Mountain hiking trails and Lodge (Great food with Mountain views) are within half an hour drive.
The City of Kingman is also half an hour away west on hwy 40. Where there are Wineries, Breweries, Museums, Restaurants and ample shopping, including, of course, a Walmart.

Follow the famous Mother Road - "Route 66." Where you can:
Visit Peach Springs and drive to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, have a picnic by the beach and splash in the Colorado River.
Take a picture by the 3 dimensional Route 66 sign.
Drive up the 22 mile Sidewinder (191 curves), to the old restored mining town of Oatman, with all kinds of little shops, and a daily gunfight. And be sure to meet the Mayor of Oatman, who is actually one of many locals wandering freely through town, descended from the original Donkeys owned by the miners when they abandoned the town. Yes the mayor is a Donkey, and watch it because he may try to steel your bag if it contains candy or food.
Keep driving down old Rte 66 to Topic, have a drink sitting in one of the Butt Chairs at the bar, or outside overlooking the Marina.
Next drive 40 minutes to Lake Havasu, where there are many great experiences, including hanging out in a little piece of London with Restaurants, Bars and shops along Lake Havasu (Colorado River), under the actual London Bridge. Which was disassembled stone by stone, numbered, shipped and reassembled. Now bridges the City to the Island.
Not too far from here is the Grand Canyon West Entrance. View it's Grandness walking out over the Canyon on the Amazing Glass Skywalk. You can go river rafting, ziplining and explore cultural exhibits depicting ancient village life.

WILD ANIMALS:
- cattle, burros, coyotes are the main wildlife out here and you very well may hear them / see them at night. Don't leave your food out!
IMPORTANT WARNING:
- There can be rattlesnakes in the desert so please be careful and bring an anti-venom epi-pen if you can afford one in case you get bit by a rattlesnake. Be very cautious when lifting or moving anything, as there may be a rattlesnake hiding underneath. The Kingman Hospital is a 15 minute drive from the property.
- some of the neighbors are not very friendly because they want to be left alone. They like their privacy! so please be respectful of them, keep your distance and enjoy the wild wide open!

Vanlifers are welcome, though we are not yet set up for rigs over 20 feet in length. Guests have access to a communal area featuring a fire pit, composting toilet, water, dog pen, and a charcoal BBQ, along with acres of untouched land to explore or enjoy a picnic.
The property features resident chickens—which means fresh eggs—a handmade outdoor stone shower, and more stars than you can count, with the Milky Way passing directly over the site. We even have a baby horse on the property. It is peaceful and happy here.

Primitive camping! This 2 acre property is on flat, open, desert terrain and is accessed off road, so please be sure your RV or vehicle can drive off road. Located off I-40 ( old Route 66 ) in Holbrook, Arizona. No power, toilet, water, or sewage. You will need to drive ~1 mile or so off road to get to the provided coordinates.Just 49 miles away you have Castle Mountains National Park. You'll need a high-clearance, 4WD vehicle to get into this extremely remote national monument in the eastern Mojave Desert. Accessible only by dirt roads, Castle Mountains is surrounded on three sides by the Mojave National Preserve. It's the northernmost of the desert region's three new national monuments designated by the President in 2016.
This park in northeastern San Bernardino County protects 20,920 acres, located between the interstates I−15 and I−40. There are no facilities, developed campgrounds, or established trails within the monument. Backcountry camping is allowed.
Castle Peaks is one of the stars here—a cluster of imposing spires that climb skyward. The peaks are composed mainly of volcanic tuff, and the deep erosion of the rocks has created distinct, sharp summits. You're also rewarded for your efforts to get here by lush grasslands, Joshua tree forests, mountain vistas, and abundant wildlife. The rugged Mojave Desert is home to mountain lions, bighorn sheep, golden eagles, coyotes, and bobcats.
Castle Mountains National Monument is always open, but the best times to come are spring and fall. March and April are peak times. The spring rains turn the desert into a carpet of vivid, vibrant wildflowers. Summers are very hot, with daytime temps in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

This specific area is Kingman is a great location and it's less than 2 hours from the property to Las Vegas and is less than 3 hours to Phoenix. There is a full service gas station truck stop with a restaurant and an RV Park with dump stations just minutes down the road. There are several parks and trails within a short drive in every direction from the campsite.

Directions: from Kingman: head south on i-40 for 13 minutes to Griffith exit. take Griffith exit.
Turn right onto Griffith Road and drive for 0.4 mile
Turn Right on Apache Rd and drive for 1.4 miles to Navajo Rd (unmarked dirt road).
Turn left onto Navajo Rd and drive for 0.74 miles to Yava Rd (unmarked dirt road)
Turn Right onto Yava Rd and drive for 0.17 mile and turn left onto the property!
Property is easiest to find during daylight hours and highly recommend a vehicle with high clearance and 4WD as the road is very rough. jagged rocks and loose sandy sections.
Please pack out all your garbage!! Lets be respectful campers and leave the sites looking their best for the next campers!
WILD ANIMALS:
- cattle, burros, coyotes are the main wildlife out here and you very well may hear them / see them at night. Don't leave your food out!
IMPORTANT WARNING:
- There can be rattlesnakes in the desert so please be careful and bring an anti-venom epi-pen if you can afford one in case you get bit by a rattlesnake. Be very cautious when lifting or moving anything, as there may be a rattlesnake hiding underneath. The Kingman Hospital is a 15 minute drive from the property.
- some of the neighbors are not very friendly because they want to be left alone. They like their privacy! so please be respectful of them, keep your distance and enjoy the wild wide open!

Two acres are tucked away with the final stretch of the drive down an easy dirt road. A winding driveway leads you into the peace and quiet of the Arizona desert. We offer multiple dry camping sites with water available for refilling your tanks.
Vanlifers are welcome, though we are not yet set up for rigs over 20 feet in length. Guests have access to a communal area featuring a fire pit, composting toilet, water, dog pen, and a charcoal BBQ, along with acres of untouched land to explore or enjoy a picnic.
The property features resident chickens—which means fresh eggs—a handmade outdoor stone shower, and more stars than you can count, with the Milky Way passing directly over the site. We even have a baby horse on the property. It is peaceful and happy here.
Beautiful and scenic hiking trails are located within 10 miles. You may spot wild donkeys nearby, and there is a town just 40 minutes away where you can pet and feed them, alongside an old mining ghost town to explore.
In town, you will find delicious Mexican restaurants, coffee shops, Sonic, Subway, a laundromat, and gas stations that sell the most delicious homemade cookies you have ever had.
There is plenty to see and do, or you can simply relax by a bonfire at one of the multiple fire pits available on-site.

Primitive camping! This 2 acre property is on flat, open, desert terrain and is accessed off road, so please be sure your RV or vehicle can drive off road. Located off I-40 ( old Route 66 ) in Holbrook, Arizona. No power, toilet, water, or sewage. You will need to drive ~1 mile or so off road to get to the provided coordinates.Just 49 miles away you have Castle Mountains National Park. You'll need a high-clearance, 4WD vehicle to get into this extremely remote national monument in the eastern Mojave Desert. Accessible only by dirt roads, Castle Mountains is surrounded on three sides by the Mojave National Preserve. It's the northernmost of the desert region's three new national monuments designated by the President in 2016.
This park in northeastern San Bernardino County protects 20,920 acres, located between the interstates I−15 and I−40. There are no facilities, developed campgrounds, or established trails within the monument. Backcountry camping is allowed.
Castle Peaks is one of the stars here—a cluster of imposing spires that climb skyward. The peaks are composed mainly of volcanic tuff, and the deep erosion of the rocks has created distinct, sharp summits. You're also rewarded for your efforts to get here by lush grasslands, Joshua tree forests, mountain vistas, and abundant wildlife. The rugged Mojave Desert is home to mountain lions, bighorn sheep, golden eagles, coyotes, and bobcats.
Castle Mountains National Monument is always open, but the best times to come are spring and fall. March and April are peak times. The spring rains turn the desert into a carpet of vivid, vibrant wildflowers. Summers are very hot, with daytime temps in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Undeveloped land approximately 15 minutes off the highway. First 5 minutes paved, the remaining dirt road. There are no services provided at this site. Make sure to pack out anything you bring in. I still had cell service when on site, so you're not cut off completely.

This was a beautiful campsite amongst high desert junipers and rolling hills. The spot was clean with a nice level, graveled site. The area is private and quiet with dark starry nights with some great hand crafted hiking trails thru the property. Kirk and Deana are friendly and engaging hosts and are knowledgeable about local sites for exploring. They work hard to maintain a beautiful property. We already have plans to return. Thank you.

Great experience staying at a peaceful desert Hipcamp RV site that offers the perfect balance: calm desert nights, big open skies, and still close enough to town for groceries, food, and lake fun. The site was level (hallelujah), hookups were simple, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming — exactly what road-weary RVers hope for.

My friend and I tent camped here for a couple nights. It was well maintained and gorgeous! Great spot for sunrise, sunset, and star gazing.
We enjoyed all the little trails. The bathroom was super clean and comfortable to use. Abi was very helpful when providing directions to the site and and other times as well. The last bit of the trek to the site has washboard roads. We took our time and were fine getting there. It did make us want to just stay at the site rather than go back to the main road to find hiking and other things. Great spot to just be!

This is probably my favorite Hipcamp, ever. Donna’s horse just showed up out of the blue, stood on the other side of my camping mat and listened to me chat about my day! I went to hike to find some old turquoise mines that Donna told me about and she (the horse, not Donna) even followed me a bit! The rocks all over the wash and property are show-stopping. The petrified wood, plants, and mountains are all beautiful, and Donna is so helpful and kind. I’ll be back for sure!

Camp spot was easily driveable by any vehicle, spacious, gave you the out in nature feeling without the trouble of driving into the unknown and hoping to find a spot. It was very peaceful and quiet. They also offer use of a washer and dryer, which is a really nice option for travelers.
My sense of direction isn’t great so when I needed help to find my way the hosts were very kind and helpful to guide me. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get away from the city and explore the peaceful area of Golden Valley.

Kirk and Deana have a beautiful property that is everything you could dream of! Wish we could have stayed longer, and we even added an extra night (which they were very accommodating about). We arrived late the first night in bad weather, and Kirk stayed in contact with us to make sure we made it safe and even took the trouble to meet us in his vehicle in the dark so we had a guide. The road during the day/in clear weather is rutty as described in their listing, but very doable (we are used to going off pavement). We just happened to come during a down pour. As promised, once you get up the drive the spot to park is leveled out with easy gravel. There is a very nice trail system that is beautiful for a nice morning walk right outside your camper/tent door, about 1/4 mile long and you could choose to explore further. We took their itinerary suggestion of Oatman to see the wild donkeys and it was the highlight of our trip that we would have missed otherwise if not for the suggestion, highly recommend following their itinerary. Would absolutely book again, Kirk and Deana were very warm and kind, and made sure to be available to your needs while also giving you space to enjoy your site and nature.

If I could give Abi a million stars for hosting an amazing property, I would! Very well kept, amazing views (desert land/plants, sunset, night sky, sunrise, all of it!), beautiful artwork and mini trails, basically more than anyone can ask for at a campsite. My husband, dogs and I enjoyed camping here so much we plan to visit again. It was nice that the whole area was to ourselves, it felt very private and safe. Would definitely recommend!
