Karen's Western Ranchero Delight

12 sites · RVs3 acres · Golden Valley, AZ
Hello Hipcampers my name is Karen Wade and I am more than happy to welcome you to the great outdoors at it's best! Enjoy my little open air slice of heaven and wake up to the Hualapai Mountains surrounding you. my land is all flat with small bushes through out. you could pretty much pull in where you want and enjoy your stay with all the greatest views in the area along with all the main roads near by. Arizona is known for being the most mineral rich states and is prime territory for rock hounding. you can just pull off the main road and get away from the hustle an bustle of the big city without being too far off the grid you can pull up in a car, truck, or RV an take in the beautiful night stars in the super quiet and peaceful desert. If you're looking to just get away or go to the casinos its all here at Golden Valley Rancho Deluxe. We're located just 3 miles from I-40 Exit #44. And just miles from historic route 66 and the famous little cowboy town Oatman. Golden Valley is a nice small town centralized between Bullhead and Kingman city small enough to give you peace but big enough to fulfill all your needs, there are several types of minerals in the area including garenet, pyrite, malachite, quartz, copper, and of course gold and the local turquoise mine not far away. which is one of the biggest producers of turquoise in the world. 40 miles away. on the eastern banks of Lake Havasu on the California-Arizona border, Lake Havasu State Park offers year-round easy access to all sorts of water activities, including fishing, boating, and swimming. Lake Havasu is also the site of one of the old London Bridges, transported all the way from England to the States and reconstructed over the Colorado River.

Mountain View Open Land

4 sites · RVs, TentsGolden Valley , AZ
My mother bought the land in 1959 as a wedding present for my father. She bought it sight unseen and has never seen the property. I moved out west and decided to go find it. I found it and fell in love with it. I scooped some dirt and sent it back east to my mother and told her she can't say she never saw the land now. I have since bought the property. I plan to develop it one day but want to enjoy the pure raw state it is in now. Pure nature. At rush hour time of the day you can stand on the land and hear the ringing in your ears and an occasional wild burro off in the distance. It is so peaceful and the skies at night are breathtaking. Millions of stars.Learn more about this land:Come park right on the property. Pitch your tent, break out your grill or dig a fire pit. Plenty of stones around to line the pit. This is completely roughing it. Wide open spaces close to the foot of the Black Mountains. Trails and caves to explore in the mountains. Beautiful mountain view with excellent stargazing opportunities at night. This property is approximately 10 miles off the main road and approximately 20 minutes one side of Laughlin Nevada casinos and gaming and 20 minutes the other direction to Kingman Arizona with grocery and convenience stores, truck stop, post office and more.Access to land is a little rough. Some roads are dirt roads and have washes crossing them. SUV at minimum is suggested to transverse roads to the land.
