We enjoyed our stay. The sites are probably better for RV than tents, but we were comfortable and appreciated the water supply.

The host frequently communicated. However, I could have camped on BLM space for free with the same amenities available to me with mobility issues and specifically searched for in the app. The bathroom is very far on another piece of land up the road and requires lifting 5-gal. buckets of water into the toilet tank. The picnic table is "ratty" per the host but told me I could drag it over to my spot even though it seems to be where someone lives. While I was driving through AZ where there weren't any wind storms, the host was texting me about leaving the eggs and firewood I added on as extra, and instead of mentioning a campfire may be unlikely, offering to refund those items that I didn't know could Absolutely Not be used would have been the decent things to do. For now the features are a bit misleading, but the property has potential and the host is responsive and keeps the camp clean.

Lane was great. Met a at the site. They had everything we needed. It’s rustic but there was cool wildlife and the price was right.

The first plug we used didn’t work but there was one closer that worked just fine. If there were two people there we would have been in trouble. Not sure if it was our surge protector. The host sent specific directions that were easy to follow. We didn’t expect to be so close to someone else’s home but other than that it was as expected.

Pros: Pad was nice and level, the mountains were pretty, the host was responsive in a timely manner, nice to have full hook-ups, and super quiet!
Cons: Sewer set-up too high for small trailers, aesthetically run down, and so many flies we couldn’t relax or eat outside.

Conveniently located and quiet, our stay was peaceful and restful. It wasn’t anything glamorous, but we weren’t looking for that! The price was right!
Lane was a great host.
There isn’t any WiFi available, so be forewarned. It was very windy so we unfortunately weren’t able to sit outside to enjoy the starry night sky.

I love canping on lanes land it was quiet and secluded and had water access there was no broken glass which is such a plus and much more common than one would think at other sites

Lane’s place was exactly what I needed, a safe parking spot for the night. It was dark and quiet, off the beaten path but you don’t need 4WD to get there! It’s close to a main road. I was worried that the dirt would be soft and my van might get stuck but it was hard packed, and gravel, and even a cement pad. Overall the place has a lot of potential!! I had a little confusion trying to figure out where I was supposed to park, but Lane guided me over the phone. He might put in some little solar lights to make the spot more obvious. I hope I get to return someday!

Honestly Lane is so kind - checked in and made me feel very secure in where I was staying. My only concern was the amount of broken glass around - o have a dog so it was a top priority of mine to make sure that she wasn’t going to trample and get cut. Other than that I am extremely grateful for the firewood and care that Lane has. It’s also quite dusty and windy so keep that in mind.
It’s not all that private, it’s right off a road - but not unbearable, there is quite a bit of highway noise, but again.. not really miserable. You still have quite the view of the Milky Way and I was there to see a meteor shower.

The energy is amazing. The sunsets were so enjoyable. I stayed an extra day. there’s plenty of space to get around and even though Lane only recently bought the place, you can tell how amazing it’s going to be. It’s definitely a labor of love.

I stayed at Lanes place for a quick overnight on my way to San Diego. Lane was very helpful and explained that he had just recently acquired the property. It appears the previous owner had made some really nice RV spaces, but they haven’t been used in a while and are a bit of a mess. Lane is in the process of cleaning them up. I think the place is going to be fantastic! It’s very quiet, has a nice fire pit and lots of room to stretch out. I will stay there again when I pass through the area. I felt like it was a great value!
