The consumables are composting toilet bags, wood shavings/chips, and toilet paper. You do not need to use the funnel and hose, but may if you wish. At a minimum, place the bag into the bucket, with the bag edge over the edge of the bucket, and place the bucket seat onto the bucket. The bucket seat should firmly fit onto the bucket, and retain the bag. When your stay is complete, please make sure the seat and bucket are clean, as well as the funnel and hose, if you used them. Please make sure all supplies are returned to the Toilet Supplies container. Directions: The address is 12672 N Ray Ave. Make your way to the intersection of N Sabino Canyon Parkway and Retreat Rd. in Summerhaven, AZ. Head east up the steep Retreat Rd., and make the right onto Tucson Ave., followed by a quick left onto what Google says is Ray Ave. Make an immediate right onto N. Ray Ave, and follow the dirt road until a steep driveway on the left appears. This driveway (and the other entrance 100 ft further on) provide access to the land. If trying to park off the driveway, enter the first driveway entrance to drive forward onto the approach and park, or enter the second driveway and then back onto the approach and park. Once parked (See Parking for additional instructions), access the land from the driveway according to the images. Parking: WARNING: Do not park on the driveway itself. There is a half-moon driveway that provides a way to either drive forward or backward onto the approach. Park on the (1) dirt approach to the land, just off the steep driveway, or (2) on the half moon parking spot at the top of the driveway, or (3) at the bottom on Ray Ave, out of the way. If any vehicles are blocking vehicular access to the dirt approach to the land, please contact me. Recreation: The shops of Summerhaven are close. Camp Overland is 11 acres of mesquite covered hills within the town of Patagonia and bordered by Nature Conservancy land to the west. The campsites are all very private and have incredible views, yet are within short walking distance from the restaurants, shops and all of the other activities that Patagonia has to offer. Propane stoves are allowed at all sites and there is a communal fire area with a wood burning Solo stove. Camp Overland practices a Leave no Trace ethic, our motto is: Be kind, have fun, leave no trace.

Our stay at Karla’s place was exceptional. We arrived just before sunset, and Karla was already waiting at the gate to welcome us and show us to our site. The spot was thoughtfully laid out and extremely well equipped. The 50-amp NEMA 14-50 hookup charged our Tesla without issue. The campsite layout is flexible and well designed, you can set up wherever you’re most comfortable and still have privacy and quiet. The property itself is more than a gem; it’s genuinely unique. We spent a good half hour exploring the artwork in the shared common space, which includes a kitchen area stocked with a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, and an immaculately clean bathroom. Karla is clearly both a craftsman and an artist, and the care she’s put into the property shows everywhere. Nothing feels generic or rushed, every detail feels intentional and one of a kind. We also had the chance to meet her horses and donkey, all of whom were gentle, friendly, and a joy to be around. The sunset was spectacular, the campsite was peaceful, and we enjoyed dinner in her beautifully decorated outdoor cabana. Karla was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as it should be. We can’t wait to return

Karla was super accommodating for my RV stay at her ranch. I'm relocating to the area and needed a place to stay for a few days until my new house closes. After several exhausting days preparing for my move and driving down here, the ranch has been the perfect place to get some much needed R&R. She didn't even mind my tortoise stretching his legs around the place! The pool, fire pit area, and other amenities are all well kept and proved a relaxing atmosphere. And yes. There are actual humming birds.😄

Weekend Trip to RV sites, mountain view!

RV Ranch is located in a beautiful spot of Cochise County. Gorgeous view of Cochise Stronghold and surrounding ranges. It’s a working ranch so you’ll hear animal noises which added to the peace of the place for me. Full hookup, very level site made it a breeze to get settled quickly. I was so fortunate to witness the great crane migration during my stay. Thousands of them made their way to their winter home right overhead. Truly amazing. Highly recommend RV Ranch to anyone visiting this stunning area of AZ.

I work out of town occasionaly and dont like to waste money on motel rooms. Itd great there are places like this where someone can just pitch a tent, and enjoy the quietness of the outdoors. The campsites themselves were great. A small open area surrounded by trees. There were chairs provided around campfire pits. A portapotty was provided, which is a great benefit you dont get while rustic camping. The price was unbeatable! I will definately be back to spend some more time with the awesome hosts, and the adorable animals!
