I would recommend Mono Loco Flats for a quiet, serene getaway. The site is great with a panoramic view of Mt Blanca. Our 20 ft travel trailor was the ideal size to enjoy the flat surface and spend time in nature. It's an ideal place to unplug and reflect. I highly recommend Mono Loco Flats!

We stayed at Mario’s campsite for one night with our campervan and it was perfect. Close to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. One of the best view to enjoy your morning coffee!

This campsite is great! Very close to the great sand dunes National park. It has beautiful views, and is secluded from others. Plenty of room to car camp, or pitch a tent.

The campsite is simple, without amenities but for me it was worth it for the amazing 360 view of the valley. It’s very easy to get to, unlike other sites in the area. You will be completely alone out there, no neighboring campers. And is in a good location to explore things in the area. Suggestions/Things to Know: The ground is really hard to get tent stakes in and it’s windy. Bring bags for your poop. Suggestion for owner: The only thing I would improve on is the fire area. It would have been more secure if a pit was dug.

It gets cold FAST after the sun sets. Bring warm clothes!!! We were sad we couldn’t many stars because of the moon but it was so bright, we didn’t even need headlamps. Mono Loco FlatsMono Loco Flats
