Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
When you come to camp here you are on a working farm in transition. Girlfarm has been a local food go to for restaurants, farm family members, and regenerative agriculture interests. Today, the farm is looking forward to a new course in agri tourism as we begin planning walking gardens, art installations in the landscape, and interactive classes. If you would like a list of grass fed meats available, veggies, or herbs just text your host BEFORE arrival. Please come visit in April May and June it is some of the most green and lush times in the high desert. It can also bring snow, winds, and rain. Be prepared- look at the forecast and contact you just directly if you have concerns We are looking for a seasonal self contained camper who we could offer trade for camp care - text host directly. Its been a huge water season so skeeters are around we also recommend tents have a rain fly and ground cloth. Welcome It was important to choose a partner like Hipcamp to invite like minded individuals who respect both the natural environment and the idea of less is more. At any time you may encounter farming activities, building out of tiny houses for future bookings, or gardens in the process of creation. As we move toward offering the land as a place to both find solitude or chosen participation our Flyte and Sparrow experience will hopefully be a place you will want to return to as your own tradition.

Wendy's campsite offers a peaceful retreat with stunning views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Campers appreciate the clear directions, helpful host, and the quiet, serene environment. There are mentions of basic amenities like fire pits and bucket toilets, but some reviews highlight the need for better signage and directions. Despite the occasional mention of rough access roads, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with guests praising Wendy's hospitality and the natural beauty of the site.

A truly special view of Nevada
I can’t speak highly enough of the tiny Blue. Perfect setting; perfect hostess; perfectly kind llama and the sweetest farm dog west of the Mississippi. I left a piece of my heart with the birds on those ponds and I hope to retrieve it someday.

The camp host and camping spot are both nice. I would simplify the directions. I was confused by the directions. You should know it is windy - I’m from point arena. We have strong coastal wind. We are used to wind. - It can be WINDY at the farm. It was a good spot for dogs.

Big Rig Camp
Beautiful and peaceful. We stayed here on a one night getaway. It was restful and so quiet, just the birds and the wind. Went for a short bike ride (lots of climbing into Toiyabe Forest on dirt roads, then lots of dirt bikers and noise up there). Green and comfortable temperatures in mid-May. Wendy is a wonderful host, kind and helpful. We ordered the rotisserie roasted chicken which she delivered, right at dinner time. It was delicious and a wonderfully welcome hot meal we did not have to cook!! Recommend for the tranquility and beautiful views!!

Beautiful views
Lovely spot with easy same day booking. The land was beautiful and the campsite had a bucket toilet, firepit with wood, table and benches as well as ample spots for parking. I think this spot might be a bit rough at certain times of year for a low car or one without 4-wheel drive. Make sure to check the specific instructions versus just the address, which comes in a follow-up email (which I failed to do!) or you will end up in a random spot. Also this is a pack in and pack out, so bring bags to collect the contents of the bucket toilet (last people did not pack out their waste, which was sorta gross).
