It's less than a mile off highway 19. Six miles south of Butler Georgia where they have restaurants, the famous Barrow Gun Shop and gas stations, etc. Makes a great intermediate stop if you're traveling to Florida.

Welcome to our quaint campground in Taylor County, Georgia! We offer 16 full RV hookups complete with water, electric, septic, and outstanding WiFi at each site. We have a brand new bath house with 2 showers and 2 bathrooms along with a 1,200 square foot pavilion equipped with a propane grill and picnic tables for communal use! Cornhole sets available upon requests along with a pair of E bikes available for rent.

Exactly what we needed for a brief oasis on our way to holiday chaos! The tent site was level and pretty. The toilet facility was clean and uncomplicated. Fire pit was a good size and had rocking chairs around it. Great star viewing!
Some highway noise in the distance. There’s running water, but it doesn’t seem potable; this appears to be a temporary issue.
A great spot to spend the night!

Had a great time at Lazy acres. Great site for some peaceful surroundings in a beautiful setting. The bath house was an added bonus and Dover made my stay feel very welcoming.

Great spot for some peace and quiet. The site was as described and the bath house an added bonus. Dover was a great host and made me feel welcome when he dropped by to introduce himself and answer any questions I may have. 5 stars all the way around.

It is quiet and was the perfect spot to be near family during the holiday. This is a simple, no bells and whistle campground. Spots were level and roomy. We did not know to request a fire pit but we were able to use one anyways- you can also bring your own. My boys loved the pond, and watching the small aircraft take off. We look forward to utilizing it more when we come down to visit family. My only suggestion would be hooks or a spare bench in bathhouse for belongings when showering etc.

My husband and I stayed Thanksgiving weekend. Very friendly & responsive hosts. Ample space at our site. We had a problem with our slide upon arrival; James took a look but was unable to help but did give suggestions of someone who could.
Bath houses were clean!!!
Site had its own grill, table, fire pit.
Farm animals were very friendly.
My only negative was the hot water pressure was not good so I couldn’t take advantage of the showers
But everything else was super nice!!

We absolutely loved our experience here. The hosts, Lisa and James were very friendly, along with their sweet dog. They have tons if animals you can feed. They have cute bathrooms. The place is quiet. We'd definitely recommend and we'd definitely come back.

Great little campground. No frills just the essentials you needed, water, sewer and electricity. Great 5G UW cell service. Only complaint is the idiot campers that have enough lights on outside to light up a half the campground all night long. Like trying to sleep under a street light. We do not not want to see your lights all night long. Other than that highly recommend the place.

My husband and I booked this place last minute for a cute camping getaway and we had an amazing experience. We got to see their farm animals and feed them. They had clean facilities and were very accommodating to whatever we needed. 10/10. Would absolutely go back.

This is really a wonderful spot! If you need a place to unwind, relax and heal this is the perfect spot for it! I spent 5 nights here by myself car camping in tent spot 1 and it really did wonders for my well being! It's so peaceful and quiet, nothing but fresh country breeze and some cows walking by once in a while I am so glad and grateful I found it. I really needed it. I wish I could've stayed longer! 💯🏕️

I can't say enough good things about this spot. If you need a place to unwind, relax, heal, this is the place to be! I stayed here for 5 nights by myself car camping and wow am I glad and grateful I picked this spot! It helped me so much, it's so peaceful, fresh country air, I absolutely loved it. I wish I could stay longer but I have to get back to work💯🏕️

Fantastic little campground with extremely helpful hosts. Here’s what I liked about it.
There was lighting, but not too much.
Sites were roomy with a small fire pit, picnic tables, and a charcoal grill.
The individual bathrooms were clean, warm and convenient. A hot shower was great to get after a long day on the road.
It was quiet with a few outdoor country sounds, like owls, a dog in the distance and a rooster at sunup.
I’d recommend this place to anyone.

On your way from Cordele to Plains, you stumble across this Georgia state park with a rich history and numerous activities. Boating, biking, and hiking are just a start to the fun! Bring your golf clubs to hit the links or try frisbee golf.
Relax on a ride on the Sam Shortline excursion train and take in the scenery. If you prefer something a little more precise, you can target shoot and practice archery. This park, dedicated to veterans, offers the Military Museum. Kids love seeing the tanks and old planes.
