Lizardsniffer is a working horse farm with a variety of rental cabins and RV slips. We DO allow tent camping. Each RV slip has water, septic, 50 amp service and Wifi. An Amenities Cabin is provided for use by all RV site guests. The cabin includes a full-sized washer/dryer, a full bathroom with bidet, and an oversized jacuzzi tub. Guests must sign-up for a 4-hour timeslot. The cabin is available for use between the hours of 8am-8pm. Many of our RV sites feature private fenced paddocks for people bringing their horses or dogs. Horse visitors require all current paperwork (Coggins, etc.). Dog visitors must be social and friendly and thus are allowed to explore the farm with their owners off-leash if desired. The property includes miles of trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Bring your own horse or experienced riders may be able to ride one of ours (subject to weight/experience matching with a horse). There is a small private stocked lake open to all guests of Lizardsniffer for fishing and swimming. At the lake you will find an amenities cabin called Glowy Bobber that has a full bathroom and outdoor shower as well as Kayaks and floats for guest use.

You can really tell when hosts have put lots of love and attention to detail in a property. The airstream was comfortable and fully stocked with essentials as well as fun touches like books and games. We could hang out on the deck, with its fans and string lights, for hours... it was a quick visit, but it was the perfect place to celebrate our son's 5th birthday morning. I loved the airstream's design elements, the outdoor shower, fire pit, the butterfly bushes, the nearby trail. Thank you so much, David + Nicole.

This spot was one of the best finds for my reactive pups and me- safe, private, peaceful, extremely spacious, and well maintained. We had a great view of the stars too. Larissa was a great host and very responsive. Will definitely be coming back! Just a heads up - I didn’t have signal once I got to the clearing (occasionally could connect to satellite), but it was nice to disconnect. Not a con. Highly recommend!

Love this campsite. You can pull right into it. You can hang hammocks, put up tents, car camp… whatever is your pleasure. Clean, big fire pit too. I don’t have kids but there is a fun forest playground nearby too. Great place for an overnight or to attend one of the survival workshops.

The property is beautiful and the signs are very easy to follow when you enter the property. The site was better than I could have hoped for and everything worked perfectly. We have been to Deerfield a few times now and we have always enjoyed our stay. Thomas is an excellent host and it is always nice to chat with him while we are there. The location cannot be beat, giant pond, great screened in game area/hangout area to cook in, eat in or just enjoy hanging out together. There is a outside bathroom which is great to have access to along with an outdoor shower. You have all the hookups for rving as well. You are in a beautiful area with open areas to spread out, let the kids run around, let your pets to stretch their legs. You are in the peaceful countryside where you can see all the stars put in a spectacular show, if there are no clouds. You will never want to leave! Thank you Thomas for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Me and my wife went for a weekend getaway. We wanted something secluded and in nature, and this met our expectations and more! Our first night there we got hit by a thunderstorm, but we made the best of it. Even as adults we played in the rain lol. The creek helped us sleep like a baby, and the river made for some good fishing. We plan on coming back multiple times throughout the summer with our kids! We know they will love it as much as me did.
