Located in the area of Rosseau Ontario, this area is known for exceptional cottage experiences. A short 10-minute drive to many area lakes to explore and experiences offered in all seasons including fishing, and boating in Muskoka lakes in the summer, cranberry marsh experience in the fall, and snowshoeing, cross country skiing, biking in the winter- there is something for everyone to explore when staying in this area! There are two cabins now on the property, but one is brand new and private and not accessible- it will be vacant for your stay. There is also a private sauna, but is also not accessible. The cabin pictured is in the middle of a private 5-acre property across from Turtle Lake and spans turtle lake road, to Donnelly and Poke Road, so it’s easily defined by the roads around the land. There is no direct access to the lake, but there are many lakes and beaches within a short drive. There are also many quaint towns to visit, beautiful hiking trails to explore all nearby. The main floor has a pull-out double bed, and the loft has 2 sets of bunk beds, ideal for kids. The bathroom facility is a newly built very airy eco-outhouse - you will be pleasantly surprised! There is a sink to wash up, and an outdoor shower, but for now, only cold water is available. This an ideal family getaway or a romantic getaway, I look forward to hosting you!

The cabin was charming and cozy, it came with various board games to pass the time and a telescope to enjoy the stars at night. The hammocks or what my partner and I call the nest was relaxing. We also had a golden retriever visit us on our 2nd and last day in the cabin. She was very friendly. If ever she does wander off on your visit, its the neighbor's dog, she is not lost, she's just enjoying the nature like the rest of us.

My wife and I spent Thanksgiving weekend at Sabrina’s cabin and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect—just a 10-minute drive from Rosseau, where we found a fantastic general store that had everything we needed (including firewood). We took our dogs to a nearby beach, grabbed great pizza at Rosseau Pizzeria on the boardwalk, treated ourselves to gelato, and browsed a charming antique shop in town. The cabin itself was amazing—extremely clean, cozy, and full of personality. Sabrina has thought of everything: a full-sized fridge, coffee maker, electric heater that kept the cabin nice and toasty, and even a whole upper loft we didn’t end up needing because the pullout couch on the main floor was perfect for us. Our big dog and mini poodle had plenty of space to stretch out too. The outhouse was surprisingly spacious and spotless, stocked with toilet paper and featuring a working sink with running water both inside and outside for washing dishes. We spent most of our time by the fire pit, which was large enough for a group and surrounded by ample seating. Between the two wooden picnic tables, the big deck, and the covered area with hammocks, there were endless spots to relax, cook, and enjoy the outdoors. Even though the cabin is just off a road, the trees and forest create a real sense of seclusion and peace—you quickly forget there’s any traffic nearby. Sabrina was extremely kind and welcoming, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. We’d happily come back!

This cabin was the perfect little getaway for our artist retreat weekend! It's cozy inside and the space heater works very well! The outside has a lot of fun play structures and hammocks to let out your inner kid (or actual kids) and the twinkle lights add a touch of magic! I have been here a few times now and it keeps getting nicer every time! It shows that there is a lot of care and love that has gone into this place :) I highly recommend checking it out!

Sabrina’s cabin is a place everyone must go! It’s super cozy and near so many hidden gems. We had an amazing time roasting marshmallows by the fire, relaxing in all the hammocks, and swimming in the lakes near by. Sabrina is also an amazing host. Responds super fast and always made sure that we felt comfortable. We will for sure come back again!!

Great little cabin nestled just off the road. Quiet surroundings during the week. Lots for kids to do. Not far for fishing and a great general store about 10 minutes away, and supervised swim area in Rousseau. Highly recommend for a nice little getaway

We loved staying in this cute cabin! It had all of the important amenities plus more. Sabrina’s hospitality is amazing. She answers any questions promptly and gives very clear directions. We loved how there were board games for the rainy days. This is our second time staying here and we look forward to coming back next summer! Sabrina added more unique features to this cabin since last year. The constant improvement shows us that she truly cares about her guests experiences and comfort. If you’re thinking about booking this place… just do it!

What a beautiful place! The cabin was perfect for my niece and I for a couple days. And the spot was just wonderful. We got "stuck" there for a day, due to car issues, and it was so peaceful and relaxing. You would never know that ypu were in an outhouse either. Bright, airy and zero smell. Lots of things to do nearby. Sabrina was so lovely as well. Always there to answer any questions we had by message. I would most definitely recommend and come back to this cabin over and over again.

We had a great girls' weekend at Sarah's cabin. She and Mike were wonderful and welcoming hosts. We didn't need to ask them for anything, but they were accessible if we did. The cabin was clean and cozy with many thoughtful touches. It is tucked in a pine forest and feels very secluded. It was also great having the trails to hike on. Would stay here again!

We had a truly magical stay at this private cabin nestled among tall trees — it felt like stepping into a different world as we walked through the “secret path” to get there. The location was incredibly peaceful, quiet, and serene — the perfect escape from everyday noise. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and super comfortable — we slept like babies! Sarah was an amazing host — very responsive and thoughtful throughout. She quickly helped us with firewood and water, and was always just a message away for any questions. It was a solid 10/10 experience and we’d absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.
