Stay here for a day or a week, this off-grid little resort has all the necessities that one would need, and make you want to come back again! We are excited to offer 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. 20 min to Parry Sound. These cabins are located within 75 acres of forest. Each cabin features either two single beds or one king-size bed. Cabins are insulated but have no heat so bring own pillows, blankets and sleeping bags. Accommodation is limited to two adults per cabin. Common areas for all cabins include: 1) Outdoor Kitchen (includes pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils etc.), 2) Freezer/Fridge, 3) BBQ, 4) Indoor Shower (hot and cold water), 5) Outdoor Shower (hot and cold water) and 6) Toilet/Outhouse with running cold water. The large BBQ is equipped with 5 burners for the grill. There is also 1 side pot burner for foiling water and another ceramic grilling burner. Additionally, we have three tent spots available, with one designated for each cabin. There is ample parking space for guests. You can enjoy the convenience of a shower with hot water and a BBQ pit. Address is 261 Star Lake rd. Seguin. Its the second driveway when going north on Star lake rd. Look for a sign MAPLE RIVERS LANE. From Hwy 400, get off on hwy 141. Go east towards Rosseau. Turn left at Tally Hoe/Swords, then right at Turtle lake rd and left at Star lake rd. Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. A beautiful Maple Key Park and sandy beach awaits you only 4 km from the site. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the nearby historic town of Orrville. Stay here for a day or a week, this off-grid little resort has all the necessities that one would need, and make you want to come back again! These 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. Fire wood is all around the forest Pick anything that is down and enjoy the common fire pit. Also a flashlight and some bug spray might help. This is a family oriented camping: 1) Please refrain from using offensive language, 2) Smoking allowed around fire pit only, 3) Please place all cigarette butts in fire pit, 4) Absolutely no candles allowed, (if desired please use insents only!) 5) Parties allowed only upon verbal consent from the management, 6) We have no cleaning fee so please keep your cabin neat and tidy. 7) Before checkout please place all garbage in and around the cabin into main bin located beside the outdoor kitchen. 8) Cabin floor should be swept using broom provided in the cabin.

Cabin #3 is the largest one of the three cabins we offer, providing a highly private setting. It is situated within a 75-acre hobby farm that features both forested areas and hay fields. Each cabin is furnished with either two single beds or one king-size bed. Cabins are insulated but not heated so bring own bed sheets, pillows and blankets and can accommodate two adults per cabin. We also have a limited number of tent spots available for additional guests. Ample parking is available for your convenience. You can enjoy the luxury of a shower with hot water and make use of the BBQ facilities on-site. For nature enthusiasts, we have trails suitable for hiking, some climbing, and even a small white water creek to explore. The surrounding area is abundant with lakes, offering opportunities for various water activities. A beautiful sandy beach awaits you just 4 km from the site. Our location is in close proximity to the historic town of Orrville, adding to the charm and cultural experiences available during your stay.

nice little secluded spot! got the whole place to ourselves for our getaway. always greeted by the friendliest dog ever when we left and came back. super hot water. everything was very clean. overall a great location :)

August 25 to 30th 2025 Second time up to Maple Rivers Log cabins, Sequin, Parry Sound. Was there last year. Cabin 3, Dariusz,s 3 cabins are set in a beautiful, serene setting surrounded by a mixed forest, of pines, maples, Birch..., they are off grid, nicely spaced , in the center a large community fire pit. Trails to follow to a deep gorge, shower, large fridge freezer to share with fellow hip camper,s, Large BBQ, outdoor sink, kitchen area to wash dishes. Some dishes to use. Garbage container. Pit toilet never smells. The host's friendly dog "Daisy" comes to play fetch with balls or sticks., Maple lake is 20 mins away as is Orrville general store. And Rousseau. Dariusz is very friendly host always willing to answer questions, fix any concerns. His wife is of great help as well. I highly recommend Maple Rivers Log Cabins, and will keep going back. Thank you Dariusz for your hospitality. Thanks for your company Daisy girl. And Tito, Daisy will teach you well. Blessings

I loved my stay at the cabin! Although there is no electricity from the grid, Dariusz uses propane and solar cells to equip the camp with a fridge/freezer, hot water, and light, which I really liked. I loved Daisy, their female Border Collie; she protects the visitors during the nights by sleeping under one of the cabins, and she is a lovely companion during the day! Bring a ball, she loves playing with other dogs with the ball. My dog and I really enjoyed our week there: fresh air, quiet and rustic place, lots of hiking opportunities around, and off-leash walks/play on the property. Will definitely return next year.

This cabin is exactly what I needed. Just a slight glamp in the middle of the trip allowed me to reset and these cabins were perfect for it. There is no electric here of any sort so don’t plan on plugging anything in. Simple yet so much more fun than setting up a tent. Again. Bravo

Hidden gem
Maple Rivers Log Cabin #2
Hidden gem! Dariusz was very quickly with responses, last minute we booked 2 cabins and both were incredible, there’s everything you can need here if you are unprepared, it’s quiet and even a friendly dog comes by every now and then, very nice dog and listen very good if you see the dog throw a stick, it loves fetch. Clean cabins, the outhouse was very clean as well. Highly recommend going here if you’re looking for a quiet but convenient get away. About 10 mins away is maple lake which had public access and you should go to as well!

Second time. Nobody else here. Had the whole place to myself. There are 3 cabins, a kitchen, a fridge room, a hot, I do mean hot, shower, an outhouse and an outdoor firepit. The only thing missing was heating, but I got a small propane heater from Walmart.

Cabins with all the luxuries

Fantastic site. The cabins are great. Each with its own covered picnic table. Such thoughtfulness was put into every structure. There is water by the outhouse to wash your hands (first time I have ever seen someone provide this), a full size barbecue with burner (hooked up to a full size tank) on a platform and covered, a double sink and counter a few steps away (ideal for meal prep and clean up) a refrigerator (freeze up ice packs for the cooler and keep items cool), an indoor and outdoor shower (hooked up to a water heater), a screen covered picnic table for when the bugs are out and a little wood shelter. The hosts are friendly and desire that every guest has the experience they expect. If anything is needed reach out to them and they will do whatever they can. Communication is key. Their dogs are fantastic especially Daisy. She loves attention and playing fetch. My dog Toby enjoyed going for walks with her. Thank you Dariusz and family.

At time of booking, half price for 2 nights. Best of all, there was warm water for shower. A fridge, kitchen and outhouse. All with lights. Cabin has solar power for lights and a USB car charger. Just plug in. Invertor errors out each time I turn it on. Very weak cellphone reception. Recommended.

Very nice place to stay, pretty well organized. Not about to miss anything. Our neighbor was really kind too. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well. The proximity with the nature was so well received from us. Do not miss this place!!

Unfortunately we arrived late at the camp and didn’t have the opportunity to explore or meet our host..the room was comfortable (forgot to bring our own beddings 😢) it was nice to be able to barbecue at the outdoor kitchen, we lit a beautiful fire and the picnic table was considerately tented so we ate in peace without the mosquitoes to keep us company 🙂..the cabins are close to each other but still offer a modicum of privacy, the forest was really peaceful especially with the rain. Dariusz’s dogs are very friendly and kept guard of the property all night 😊…clean shower that had warm water too!! The outhouse was clean too. Overall it was a good first experience for me and would certainly go back!

Dariusz's property and cabins: It cant get much better than this , The description's he gives of what is at the camp is right on. Indoor & outdoor shower's, Old claw foot tub outside gives the area a very cool look. , A Kitchen area to wash your dishes with running water and kitchen supplies such as plates and various kitchen utensils, A covered area with BBQ is supplied , a cooler, And fridge/freezer. Nice large clean Pitt toilet supplied with TP. Lovely fire pit your free to go in the woods on his property to gather dead standing and branches for the fire pit. Beautiful property/ forest. Love his boarder collies mama Daisy and son Smokey that patrol the property very loving dogs got along with mine. Host Dariusz's is easy to communicate with and very helpful if you are not sure where to find areas of interest. Beach 7 min. away on Maple Lake . 30 min. to parry sound . Id defiantly go back . Thanks Sue Zaple , Friend Lisa and our dogs August 11 to 15th , 2024

You can always tell a really great cabin situation based on the cuteness and cleanliness of the outhouse! The cabin was comfortable, clean and charming and once we got the fan going it cooled off very nicely. We had a snack dinner at the picnic table. Unfortunately, we didn't have opportunity to access the outdoor kitchen, which seemed really well stocked with pots pans and cups Etc. We did have a wonderful outdoor shower! and met a nice neighbor. I would recommend it to anybody who likes this form of camping or cabinet en route!! Oh yes! Daisy was the sweetest most loving dog it's a wonder I didn't put her in the car! thanks so much Dariusz!!

A little getaway

We stopped for the night on the way to Lake Superior. Such a lovely little find! Dariusz's set up is so adorable and quaint. I'd love to gather family here one summer for a nice get together. Everything was so clean and made well. There was firewood waiting for us at the pit and communication was great. Thank you!

I loved the cabins, the privacy, the hiking trails. Dariusz's was very nice, gave us directions to the hiking trails, allowed is to explore his property and pillage his land for firewood. Definitely, will be rebooking again.

Darius has built some very cool cabins, with comfy beds, and the basic necessities you want! The property was really cool, it was enough in the outback that there was essentially no noise pollution and 0 light pollution so you could see the stars in full tilt! The only thing that wasn't there was cooking pots/pans/utensils (bring your own). There was a Great BBQ with burners on the side, so I was able to boil water without putting the pan on the BBQ! The property was great, there were other people renting the two other cabins who were awesome! The cabins are quite close together, so if you are going for complete solitude you'll have to find a hike or something, or try somewhere more outback. Overall it was an amazing stay, I will definitely be back. Thank you Darius for hosting me!

The host Darius’z welcomed us and took the time to show us around. Overall we had a good stay, would have preferred more privacy in shower as there was a glass door. Besides this everything else was great and cozy

We really enjoyed Maple Rivers Log Cabin. Derek met us about 10 after our arrival to show us around. We liked the idea of glamping rather than having to set up a tent. So glad we did because we woke to the pleasant sound of rain on the tin roof. We appreciated the little touches of hand soap, dish clothes, bbq utensils and covered sheltered to eat under. The cabin was clean and beds were comfy. Super quiet and peaceful stay. Thanks Derek.
