The bush area has been used for camping by many local and visiting scouting groups over the years.
In 2021, we joined Hip Camp and now allow others to enjoy the beauty, peace, and challenges of camping in our bush.
The alpacas are a peaceful herd to watch as they graze their way through the day. Crias (baby alpacas), love to pronk and play in the pastures near their mothers. During May you may observe us shearing the alpacas.
June is the birthing and breeding month. They birth quickly, so watch carefully.
Tours of the farm with explanations of the fibre harvest process and opportunities to walk the alpacas are available to be booked through our website.

The other site has a large rectangular pond of its own to ensure everyone has privacy.
Your drinking water comes from Mother Nature, not a well, true spring water that's icy cold and so refreshing.. There are two spring fed ponds which makes them revitalizing on a hot day when you go for a swim.
We are located 10 minutes away from the town of Hanover and the Allan Park Conservation is right beside us and has numerous walking and off road bicycling trails. The Saugeen River is 5 minutes away which you can kayak or tube down, too much fun that is.
Our property offers beautiful scenery, virtual privacy, you see glimpses of our home, peace and tranquility with the backdrop of Mother Nature to be heard, geese, wild turkeys, deer, lots of songbirds, coyotes and oh yes, our big friendly lovable er
be spectaular and later the stars twinkle above and maybe you'll even see a satellite high above while you're stargazing.
Each site has a table (you'll need to bring lawn chairs), firepit with a cooking grill, and a supply of wood you'll have to purchase from us upon arrival, as we are a forestry managed property. An outhouse is a pleasant walk within minutes of the site. Water for dishes and general washing can just be taken from the pond (DO NOT DRINK) Not that it would kill you, lol. Ray will keep you supplied with fresh spring water for drinking.
New to this site is a solar powered string of 300 lights, two single person floats, and a hammock for your added enjoyment.
There are numerous things to do within a 15 minute drive. A couple dams, 2 conservation parks, drive-in theatre, casino, horse racing, small stock car racing track (great for young kids), two local breweries, a busy local butcher and the Saugeen River. With more destinations as you move outward.
We promise you won't be disappointed and can't wait to share our piece of Heaven with you.
TAKE NOTE You will be charged $500 per bag/item of refuse you leave behind. WE DO NOT HAVE GARBAGE PICKUP, besides which you are supposed to leave the site as you found it.
CANCELATIONS: IF you cancel within two weeks of your arrival date, your money will NOT be refunded nor will you be able to change the date. Your drinking water comes from Mother Nature, not a well, true spring water that's icy cold and so refreshing.. There are two spring fed ponds which makes them revitalizing on a hot day when you go for a swim.
We are located 10 minutes away from the town of Hanover and the Allan Park Conservation is right beside us and has numerous walking and off road bicycling trails. The Saugeen River is 5 minutes away which you can kayak or tube down, too much fun that is.
Our property offers beautiful scenery, virtual privacy, you see glimpses of our home, peace and tranquility with the backdrop of Mother Nature to be heard, geese, wild turkeys, deer, lots of songbirds, coyotes and oh yes, our big friendly lovable er

Each site has a table (you'll need to bring lawn chairs), firepit with a cooking grill, and a supply of wood you'll have to purchase from us upon arrival, as we are a forestry managed property. An outhouse is a pleasant walk within minutes of the site. Water for dishes and general washing can just be taken from the pond (DO NOT DRINK) Not that it would kill you, lol. Ray will keep you supplied with fresh spring water for drinking.
New to this site is a solar powered string of 300 lights, two single person floats, and a hammock for your added enjoyment.
There are numerous things to do within a 15 minute drive. A couple dams, 2 conservation parks, drive-in theatre, casino, horse racing, small stock car racing track (great for young kids), two local breweries, a busy local butcher and the Saugeen River. With more destinations as you move outward.
We promise you won't be disappointed and can't wait to share our piece of Heaven with you.
TAKE NOTE You will be charged $500 per bag/item of refuse you leave behind. WE DO NOT HAVE GARBAGE PICKUP, besides which you are supposed to leave the site as you found it.

Weekend Trip to Yurt at Paisley Mill
We loved staying at the cozy yurt in the woods. Emily has thought of all of the basic needs, and when we had a bunch of rain, there were tons of games go play inside.
The wood stove keeps everything nice and toasty!
There is a beautiful river right behind the yurt making the experience even more enjoyable.
The outhouse was clean and fully stocked.
This place was perfect to destress and reset

The space and property are so beautiful, the trails are very well maintained and Susan and Brent are super friendly and awesome! They gifted me some honey from the bees they keep and it was delicious.
I was very warm and cozy at night during my stay. The land is huge and I had such a fun time snowshoeing and walking around. There are lots of birdwatching spots, especially by the water. I will definitely be back again when the weather is warmer. I highly recommend staying here, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did!

This was such an amazing experience. We brought our little baby in -25 and it was so cozy in the cabin!! The property is absolutely gorgeous, amazing trails to explore. The hosts are so incredible and attentive. Our propane ran out our second night and Susan answered me within 1 minute and came out to replace it immediately! The wood for 15$ is a steal! We were so happy with the site, it ended up being the perfect spot for our winter adventure, and had the forested experience we were looking for. It was a bit of a walk to the site on the trail from where the car was parked, but definitely worth the short 1-2 minute hike to get that proper secluded in the woods vibe that we wanted. The site features a water's edge and peaceful stream.. it was beautiful. Susan and Brent were incredible hosts and brought some of our supplies in on their ATV which was very cool of them. They were very communicative an accommodating, too. We loved the property and would absolutely camp here again. Thank you!

Second time here in winter, and Susan and Brent's land is so enchanting! The A-frame was cozy. I did bring piles and piles of fleece blankets this time to keep off the chill :) but their propane heater works wonders. The second night was clear skies and a stunning moon to bbq by the light of. My dog loved running along the trails left by their ATV. I cannot recommend this place enough. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. I will definitely have to visit in the summer. Thank you!

I’ve been camping a lot over the past year, and Edges Sideroad Springs has become something truly special to me. After more than 30 stays here, I can honestly say this place feels like a second home. From my very first visit, both the land and the hosts just felt right.
Brent and Susan are genuinely kind, welcoming people. Brent often stops by just to say hi and make sure everything is good, and it never feels forced—just friendly and thoughtful.
Each site has its own character, but Bubbling Spring is something else entirely. Nestled deep in the forest with the river flowing beside it and natural spring water bubbling out of the earth, it’s incredibly peaceful. You hear birds, small animals, and nothing else. No noise, no rush—just calm.
This isn’t just a campsite for me. It’s a place I truly miss when I’m away, a safe haven I return to whenever I need to reset.

We visited for a winter car camping trip, and it was truly an unforgettable experience!
The alpacas stay on the property year-round, and as soon as we arrived, they all peeked their heads out and watched us - it was absolutely adorable and such a special welcome. 🦙❄️ (and BP & Marley too!)
Our car briefly got stuck in the snow upon arrival, and despite the cold weather, the host came out right away with a shovel to help us. We were so grateful.
Communication was fast and clear throughout, and the host was incredibly accommodating from start to finish.
The site itself is very private and cozy. Campfires are allowed, and having access to a washroom and electricity made winter camping comfortable and stress-free.
We also stopped by the souvenir shop and picked up a cute alpaca keychain—highly recommend as a small keepsake from the trip!
If you’re considering camping, this place is a must.
We would absolutely love to come back again.

We went winter camping in the A Frame. The hosts Sue and Brent went out of their way to make are stay exceptional. We were very warm and cozy. Loved the trails and winter fires. The beautiful serenity of Sue and Brent’s camp we stayed in the A frame so warm and cozy. We had beautiful fires in the winter nights. Our dog Whitney ran free and loved the winter trails. Brent and Sue are great host highly recommend this camp for families. The property offers lots of beautiful surprises a pond and spring fed stream. We hiked , spent our days and nights outside and played with our dog, the cabin is warm with a propane heater. . We will definitely plan another winter weekend. What a great winter experience. We loved our winter stay at Natalie’s cabin. There was plenty of snowfall but barely any wind making for breathtaking scenery. Parking was cleared of snow as well as pathways to the cabin and the outhouse. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple like us and warmed up quickly with the wood stove. We requested additional firewood and it was delivered promptly and was a generous amount for the price. Overall the stay was incredibly peaceful and quiet, very few cars on the road to the property. While the cabin is close to the road it is tucked nicely back and is still very private. We would absolutely stay again if we have the chance.

We had a great time staying at Camp Kyle. Natalie was very friendly and inviting. The Cabin and outhouse were very clean. There was an outdoor kitchen available with propane burners/grill. Great for heating up or making a meal. A large fire pit and plenty of outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The wood stove inside the cabin was a perfect addition as we were able to stay warm during the night. Thank you for sharing your land with us.
