Great few nights at the Cabin. Went on day trips and relaxed at Camp at night. Nice to have the space ans privacy it affords. Would stay there fall or winter too for sure. We looked at a lot of different options for our trip, and glad we chose Camp Kyle as it worked out great

I loved the cabin at Camp Kyle! It was very rustic and nice to disconnect from technology for a few days. Natalie was very quick to respond to messages and was very accommodating. I hope to go back!

Had a wonderful quiet weekend at the cabin. The host was helpful and the amount of wood you get for $15 was more than enough to keep the woodstove running all weekend.

It exceeded my expectations what a wonderful winter get away! Natalie is 10 out of 10 when it comes to communication they had no problem bringing me another load of wood for my night as a solo female traveler sometimes I could get concerned about safety but Natalie assured me that all I had to do is message him if I felt unsafe at all which I did not absolutely amazing will be booking my next trip in a couple weeks!

Were accused of leaving a candle lit. When we left an unlit candle for the next person.
There was zero smoking in the cabin.
False accusations are absolutely not okay.

It was an amazing experience! The fireplace was really cozy and kept the cabin warm and toasty during the night. The firewood bundle that came with the reservation was enough for keeping the stove running for 2 days.
Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely comeback during summer!

A cozy cabin is in the forest with an indoor wood stove. a queen sized bed and some furniture. Firewood provided. Parking by the kitchen or picnic area. Outhouse available. No showers. 2WD accessible.
Chesley is 15 mins from Hanover with restarants, Canadian Tire, etc. and 20 mins from Walkerton with restarants and shops.

We had a relaxing time at the cabin and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It’s a beautiful place and the host was quick to ensure we were comfortable. The outdoor kitchen area was spacious and included the cook area and potable water, as well as the rainwater barrel for washing hands. If booking, make sure you bring your own light source for inside the cabin as the battery pack for the indoor lights only lasted an hour.

This was a great Fall getaway. The bed is comfy, the grounds serene and had great morning light for an a.m. fire, my favorite. For colder weather stays I would recommend getting a small table and chairs for indoor eating and activities like cards or a crib board! We ordered an extra bundle of wood and were able to have two morning fires, an evening fire and keep the cabin warm overnight in the wood stove both nights. It was very cozy!

Very cozy cabin. Quieter in Sunday night in the rain. Lovely large king size bed w memory foam. I slept very well. The outdoor kitchen was stocked w fresh water & propane. And there was plenty of dry wood 🙌
Limited cell signal too which for some might be an annoyance, but was a perfect opportunity for me to unplug. 🤠

The cabin was cozy and warm with the wood stove. Having the covered kitchen/seating area was great especially since it was raining a good portion of the time we stayed here. We would come back if in the area again in the future!

Overall camping is experience was good and the highlight was as the view from the fire pit in the night seeing the stars in the sky surrounded by tall trees.

We had a great time at Camp Kyle this weekend. The cabin was clean and had a nice little welcome basket. The covered picnic table area came in handy with the little bit of rain we had. This is a perfect spot for anyone coming with a large group as there was tons of room to set up tents. Our dog had a blast and was in stick heaven!
The only downsides were that you could hear the road traffic and there were some huge spiders in the outhouse.
All in all, a great spot!

Had a good time at camp Kyle with my family. The lot is large and secluded without being far from the roads so it's not hard to get into town if needed.
We went during the hot summer and there were next to no mosquitos which was pleasantly surprising.
The cabin is quite cozy and thoughtfully cleaned & furnished, during our stay some of the screens had been removed from the windows, it would have been preferable having them installed but the nights were cool enough that it didn't matter. The cabin has a large bed and a small fireplace.
The bbq worked well and had ample propane. We didn't try the pizza oven but it was in perfect condition.
The firepit is huge and the provided firewood burned very well. There were camping chairs provided as well as a covered cooking & dining area which was a big plus as our last morning had some rain.
Our single qualm was the outhouse. The low hanging fruit of complaints I guess, but it desperately needs an update. It was the only part of our trip that dragged things down. It feels quite run down and flimsy in a literal sense. The roof is low and it's seat has got a lot of miles on it, loose and with pain peeled off. The woman especially had an uncomfortable time with it. If the outhouse could be on par with the cabin this place would be worth twice as much per night.
As is, I still recommend coming, the place is great value and we had a good time overall, not like you want to spend much time in in the can anyway.

I enjoyed my mini getaway at camp Kyle. Natalie and Robert, the hosts were fantastic. I also was pleasantly surprised to see how clean and welcoming their little cabin was. I enjoyed the welcome basket too! They also have an outhouse that was surprisingly nice clean and fresh with toilet paper and a sink inside if you want to bring water inside to wash your hands in the sink however the rain barrel close by was also easily an option too. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed smores on the fire and used the BBQ for supper. Very impressed and an excellent option if you want a camp night or two away to unwind and enjoy nature and some beautiful forest views! I will be back again!

I recently had the pleasure of camping at Camp Kyle, and it was a fantastic experience. The campsite is well-maintained, with clean facilities and ample space for tents and activities. Camp Kyle - SUMMER
We loved staying at Natalie’s camp, it was perfect for my mom, as she was camping for the first time. It was a treat for the rest of is the cabin was right there with a king size comfy bed. We came on a cloudy and rainy day so couldn’t enjoy watching the stars but we saw many fireflies was just surreal. My dog had a blast and is still sleeping and recovering from his running around eating all the sticks. I would recommend this camping/glamping site to others and we will definitely come back for staying more nights with clear skies.
Also, the welcome things were not gone unnoticed. And we thank Natalie to make our stay perfect.
