This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community. It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night. The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead. There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company. Here is what the land offers: -Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023 -Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table -Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots. Close to each other, but you'd never know it! All three are chill and serene places. The property backs onto a ten-foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the Saugeen River. -RV Spot: With electric hook up ideal for RVs 30 feet and under -a connection to the organization, 'Black Folks Camp Too'! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company. 2 nights at Cabin close to Lake Erie and trails

I took my mom to this place after years of vacationing in cabins around Wasaga Beach, and she kept commenting on how luxurious she felt staying at Gisele and Vic's compared to our previous experiences. The cottage is cozy, welcoming, and exceptionally well maintained. Every detail has clearly been thought through. Gisele and Vic made sure we had everything we needed and more, including bikes and kayaks available for guests to use. They even had the fire set up for us on our first night, which was such a thoughtful touch. When we return, and we definitely plan on returning, we'll be packing much lighter because so much is already provided. The grounds are spacious, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The beach was even closer than we expected and was a wonderful alternative to some of the busier beaches in the area. The sand was beautiful, the water was crystal clear, and it was already a perfect temperature for swimming in early June. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable, and worry-free getaway. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa & Scott’s cabin! The space is romantic, spotless, and so cozy — exactly what you want for a weekend reset. Lisa and Scott were incredible hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to see if we were doing okay, without being intrusive. The washroom is clean and accessible, and the whole cabin feels warm and welcoming. If you’re looking to recharge from work, this place is perfect. The gas station and stores are only a 7-minute drive if you need anything. There are also waterfalls and trails nearby to explore, but honestly we loved just staying in — enjoying the campfire and the pond view. Overall, we highly recommend this cabin for the perfect glamping experience. Thank you Lisa & Scott!

Weekend Trip to Cabin close to Lake Erie and trails

Had an amazing stay here! Gisele and Vic provided us with their kindness and hospitality and gave us space to explore the space and town. There’s ton to do here: biking along the trail, kayaking (if weather permits), and enjoying a sunny afternoon at Nickel Beach. We’d definitely recommend this place for anybody who wants to escape the city and experience the peace and quiet. Also, if you’re into vintage shopping, check out Willows End Salvage. This is my dog and my second time at Pine the Sky, we stayed at strawberrie fields bunkie again. I needed the space for personal reasons, but close enough to Joan if I needed something, she met me at the entrance and was extremely accomedating, I had beautiful sunsets, enjoyed very epic shower,s with hot water nice powerful shower head. As well. Enjoyed hikes around and through the pine forest on her property. My dog enjoyed the freedom to run and play with Joan the hosts dogs in the four days I was there. Nice size fire pit to enjoy and picnic table. Comfy funton on lower level, and large bed in loft. Bunkie has a heater and generator if needed I went end of May 2026, cool couple nights but I was warm without heat. Loved sitting down at the river she backs onto to absorb the beauty . Pine the sky is true to how host discribes her camp and only . I would highly recommend. Pine the Sky, and won't hesitate to go back a thired time, thanks Joan for your generouse hospitality, and to Sid and Onax for teaching my dog how to be a dog. Hunter had such fun running through the forest and into the frog pond. We will be back soon.

A great place to relax in nature! The spa and sauna have a beautiful view of the trees, and the bonfire pit was perfect for cooking. They also have basic BBQ gear. Highly recommend if you want some quality downtime in the woods!

We had an amazing long weekend here and truly enjoyed every moment. The place was very clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Everything was neat and well thought out, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The washroom was spotless, water was provided, and the hosts even arranged electricity for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The cabin smelled wonderfully of fresh wood, and it was so nice to fall asleep while listening to the rain. We used the grill, enjoyed the clean and well-kept property, and spent our mornings drinking coffee by the pond. Our dog had the best time running around, swimming in the small pond, and watching the frogs 🐸 she was very curious and really wanted to play with them! There were also chickens on the property, and we were happy to buy fresh eggs to take home with us. A big thanks to Lisa and Scott for their hospitality. They were very kind, welcoming, and responsive to any request we had. We truly felt welcomed and comfortable during our stay. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back. It was a wonderful place for a peaceful getaway and an unforgettable weekend. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

1 night at Beaver Valley Base Camp

Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The property was incredibly easy to find, and from the moment we arrived everyone was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The cabin itself is amazing, comfortable, charming, and thoughtfully put together. The setting is absolutely spectacular and ended up being everything we had hoped for and more. It was exactly the kind of experience we were looking for. We’re already hoping to come back again. I can only imagine that the last week of May would be especially magical with all of the apple orchard blossoms in bloom. I bet it would be absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable stay.

Weekend Trip to Pine the Sky

We had such a wonderful stay here! The camping accommodation was clean, cozy, and very well maintained. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts (Joan, Onyx and Sid) were friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was comfortable for us. We especially loved the quiet atmosphere and how well organized everything was. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing camping getaway.

Weekend Trip to Pine the Sky

We stayed at the bunkie by Strawberry Fields and it is probably the best site out of all the Pine the Sky. It is very secluded, private and shady. Our dogs were able to run around freely without having to worry about the other people on the other sites. Keep in mind though that the bunkie is powered by generator so you have to ask the host if you want to use it. There were mosquitoes but not too bad once you get the fire started. Our host, Joan, was also wonderful and very accommodating during our stay. Too bad, we didn't get to see her dog.
