We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Hemlock Point Campground is set on a private waterway fed by the Black River, nestled among forests and rocky ridges. The river offers a few different swimholes easily within walking or paddling range, as well as some decent fishing and wildlife sightings. Each campsite is spacious with a private driveway, outhouse, picnic table, and more. As well as using the canoe provided, campers are also welcome to hike the marked and groomed waterfront hiking trails throughout the 56 acre property, and just down the road is Mt.Moriah, a Buddhist Temple, and numerous backcountry trails, reserves, and lakes. ATV's are permitted on the road, (gateway to trails to Lingham, Deer Rock, Caniff, and Skootamatta Lakes) and friendly dogs are welcome off leash. This is a unique gelogical landscape, situated between Mt. Moriah, the Elzevir pluton complex and the Black River in an ultramafic zone, with coloured quartz veins and pillowed granite outcroppings. Mixed forest with varied species of deciduous and conifer trees - due to aerial seeding after a forest fire over 80 years ago, leaving charred stumps that can still be found from natural char preservation. Home to pileated woodpeckers, hawks, eagles and kingfishers, otters, fishers, salamanders, brown river trout and everything in between, either from the vantage of a hammock or on a hike in the forest this natural site won't disappoint.

There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from.
Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine).
Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'.

Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. We have large area cleared for RVs, trailers, tents or camper van dispersed camping sites. The ranch has ten 30 amp power sites with lots of room to turn around and most you can drive right through without having to back up.
Views of mountains in every direction with lots of wild birds in the area. We have horses, cows, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats at the ranch. The small working ranch is in the Rocky mountain trench with the Rocky Mountains to the east the Caribou range to the east and the Monashee Mountains to the south.

Nearby activities include hiking, biking( bike rentals available in town), climbing, fishing, paddling.
The site is 20 minutes from Mount Robson Provincial Park (Berg Lake trailhead) and just over an hour to Jasper National Park. Valemount townsite is 15 minutes away and is home to a renowned mountain bike park, and excellent restaurants such as the Glacier fire Pizza.
Please take the time to read any posted signs regarding rules of the ranch, speed limits, etc, and do not leave a trace. Please bring your garbage, tissues and cans with you. There is a local transfer station just 10 minutes south of us outside the village of Valemount. Please respect our home.

This is a place to get away from a busy life.
With close proximity to Winchell Lake, this land is ideal for fishing, hiking or simply enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
We have 4 campsites available for tent or RV/trailer campers. If you're bringing an RV, we have two power outlets and water available. You will be parking on a field and the site requires levelling.
Electricity and firewood are both available for purchase (see extras below). Please add this to your reservation at the time of booking.
Campfires are permitted, pets are welcome. Potable water, picnic table, and outhouse are all available.
We have cows, goats, chickens, horses and dogs and cats on the property that
generally love people. :) I have only one dog and typically allow dogs to run off leash. We do have to be careful that it doesn't turn to a dog gang as this happened once and they took down one of my goats. The goats Hon and Chewy are okay but it took months for poor Hon to heal. I also worry about the chickens and the cats so please keep and eye on your dogs!
Lots of treed areas for private camping, horseback riding hiking and walking!
Bird watching is big around here as we are on a bird migratory path.
We are just above Winchell Lake and less than 10 km from Water Valley Golf Course and Saloon.
Please recognize that you are visiting a Ranch not a campsite. We are sharing our piece of heaven with you and you are helping to support our animals and their heaven.
Chickens are "True" Free Range and hand fed every morning. Eggs are $10 a dozen to pay for their feed. :)
Every spring the rain tends to cause ruts and washes out some of the road on the way to the back forty where the meadow is. We gather rocks on the property to fill the ditches but the early part of the year the roads can be bumpy. Please ask the conditions of the road when you book if you have concerns. Thanks!

2 hours of a beautiful drive that includes kootenay national park.
2)..Important ❗️❗️Please do not bring firewood from other areas to our camp as our property is heavily treed forest and we do not want any transfer of raw wood bugs. We offer $10 generous bundles of wood.
3) When you book, One tent or RV and one vehicle per site. If you are looking to book for a group of friends/family area, we can help with that.. prior to booking.
Also, we reserve the right to put you in the best possible spot to fit in a proper site for what you are camping in and what your needs are. Often people book a site that’s completely wrong for them… but that’s ok… we will fix it. 😊
4) Smoking only on sand at sites and nowhere else on our property Please use a container to hold your butts.
5) Noise restrictions after 9pm…no music or loud behaviour after that. Strictly enforced. We value respect in the camp for all campers.
6) Once you book, we will reply back with important information on the phone number you booked with. Please check for our messages to you for a smooth booking and arrival.

This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community.
It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night.
The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead.
There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company.
Here is what the land offers:
-Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023
-Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table
-Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots. Close to each other, but you'd never know it! All three are chill and serene places. The property backs onto a ten-foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the Saugeen River.

The Point...
The main shared area "The Point", is the peninsula that the main roadway ends at (where the BBQ, kayaks and canoes are), this is a shared area for us and our guests to enjoy. The Point offers a large picnic table, a propane BBQ, comfortable seating, a large rock perfect for sunbathing, and a river view. It's an ideal spot for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks, or paddle-board river excursions, thanks to its shallow entry and rocky bottom. Adventurous visitors might choose to paddle upriver, around an island, and return through the remaining historic canal. For a more strenuous workout, consider paddling up the canal to the Grenville lighthouse and then drifting all the way back to camp with the river's current. I had a lovely stay at Susan and Tony's place. Even though I stayed only 1 night, I felt so welcomed, and inspired by what they have created. The land is surrounded by forest and is very quiet and peaceful. If you are interested in ways of living that are more sustainable and in harmony with nature, they have experiences and knowledge to share. The Earthship tour was great. Hope to stay there again soon. I highly recommend.

What an amazing — and ambitious — place to stay. The tour of the Earthship was definitely worth it. I love learning about alternative home building.
Just before you enter the site’s property is a beautifully maintained, accessible trail that meanders through an older second growth forest of cedar, fir, Sitka spruce with ginormous skunk cabbage. No litter on the trail. Very little invasive plants.
Tony and Susan are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this HipCamp!!

Our stay at the Woodland Cabin was absolutely wonderful! We truly enjoyed the cozy cabin, along with having our own private hot tub and fire pit. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean flush toilet as well.
One of the highlights for our family was the enchanted forest on the property. My daughter and her friend spent hours creating little gardens with the gnomes and whimsical garden characters, it was such a magical experience for them. The farm animals on site were another lovely touch, and the property offered plenty of private space to relax and enjoy nature.
Despite the rainy weather, we stayed warm and comfortable thanks to the cabin's heaters. We loved sitting by the large glass windows, taking in the beautiful views while enjoying hot chocolate and watching movies on the TV. It was the perfect cozy getaway.
The high-speed Wi-Fi was excellent and allowed me to work without any interruptions, which was a huge bonus.
A special thank you to Michael, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. From the moment I started looking into booking, he patiently answered all of my questions, was highly responsive, and made everything easy and stress-free.
This was my very first cabin stay experience, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing cabin getaway surrounded by nature. We will definitely be returning!

One of our favourite camping spots on our Rockies road trip. The scenery was spectacular and waking up to the cows outside the RV in the morning was really neat. Gavin was a fab host . The shower was down by the house and needed Gavin to show us how to operate . Once going it was super hot .

I loved my stay at Rough Diamond Ranch! I visited for over a week and stayed in the barn loft with my two dogs. Laura also allowed me to bring my horse who stayed in the pasture right next to the barn. Laura was so kind and welcoming - made me feel like family. The barn loft and property were clean and felt safe for a solo traveler. Truly an incredible ranch stay with a beautiful view of the mountains and I was happy to hang with the horses, goats, dogs, cats, and chickens!!! Quiet peaceful back roads to walk my dogs and ride my horse. Ranch was easy to find. Laura was very prompt with communication. The town of Water Valley is nearby and has two great restaurants. 40 mins into Calgary for a fun day trip. Had a great stay, thank you!!

1 night at Lakewood Cabins
Had such a wonderful stay at the cabin! The farm was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. We loved being around the animals — the horses, dogs, and chickens made the experience even more special. The cabin was cozy, and the whole place had such a lovely atmosphere. Michael was incredibly welcoming and kind, which made us feel right at home. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great site, rustic and private. A bit of a hill to hike if you are staying in a trailer up the hill. Outhouse is fantastic. Very well equipped with BBQ, some pots and pans etc.. Nice canoe on site. If you like rustic and private this is a great spot!

We had such a wonderful stay at Back Forty Vineyards! It was really nice to meet Daryl, and he was super easy to communicate with the whole time.
The campsite is just so peaceful and quiet—exactly what we needed for a weekend reset. Setting up on the hill gave us the most amazing views looking right out over the vineyard. Waking up to that scenery and watching the sunset in the evenings was definitely the highlight of our trip.
A special shoutout has to go to Bernie, the resident dog! He is the sweetest, friendliest pup and his little visits made our stay even better.
If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful spot to unplug and unwind, we really can't recommend this place enough. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a great 1-night stay at Michael’s tent site while passing through town. Michael had set out our firewood for us in advance of our arrival and we had no issues with the water or bathroom. The bathroom is shared with the other cabins on the property.

Weekend Trip to Collinswood Retreat
This place is absolutely incredible! I’m thrilled I discovered it, though I kind of wish I could keep it a secret! Traveling solo, I felt completely safe and found the atmosphere so relaxing. I had one of the best night’s sleep ever in the treehouse. The outdoor bathtub was a standout feature—such a unique experience! The owner was incredibly accommodating, giving me a tour of the property and being available for any questions during my stay. The tea and freshly baked cookies were a delightful touch! I can’t wait to return!
