It has flat areas with plenty of free timber for the designated fire pits. I have tried to create a haven for wildlife including Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and platypus. I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife.

Our first time taking out our camp trailer, the large flat grassed area was great for us to ‘figure out’ we had no tent pegs 😂 a short trip to Anaconda later and we were all set. Loved the ability to have a camp fire and take our dogs. The kids loved the little ponies next door.

Moruya caravan park is amazing. Start from communication regarding your location. Always respond with one hour and happy to help you out. Second- water front side- amazing, quiet and clean. Whole caravan park is very clean including amenities. Laundry- so easy to use using your card to pay. No hustle with coin.
We were there in winter- so if you want to have an amazing glass of wine next to fire 🔥, you can get a pit with bag of wood in the reception. Enjoy yourself

Easy to find, good location not too far from the highway or Canberra. Shops 10-15 minutes away. No close potable water to fill caravan tanks so plan ahead and stop in Queanbeyan or elsewhere. We'd likely stay here again if passing through!

I stayed at site 5. Even though the sites are quite close, I was there by myself so it was no issue. Shared the paddock with sheep, kangaroos, lizards, rabbits and water birds. Lovely outlook over the little dam, and was able to see the bunnies and Roos hopping around.
This is the second site I have stayed at where I didn’t meet the owners first up or at all. I have to admit that I prefer meeting the owners when I arrive, as a woman travelling alone it just feels better to meet the owners and know that I’m safe. This is just a personal preference, I’m sure others may not be bothered by it, but I appreciate the meet and greet.
Other than that the stay was fine, location was great for an easy drive into Canberra, and communication with Janice was good also.
