We are a 5 min drive to the historic township of Bungendore where you can find plenty of shopping and cafes. It's just a 25 min drive to Queanbeyan and a 30 min drive to Canberra CBD. We are about 1.5 hours from Batemans Bay and the NSW south coast. The night sky here is mesmerising. The milky way core is visible from January through to November and is an astrophotographer's dream. Bring a camera! Our property is set up on a hill overlooking the valley towards Lake George. The campsites have flat grassy areas with rows of pine trees around two sides of the camping area.  This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Your dog is welcome (on leash). It's a a short walk uphill where you can see and photograph the amazing sunsets over lake George and Smiths Gap. In the mornings you can see the fog blanketing the lower parts of the valley as the sun rises. The night sky here is mesmerising.
