With over 600 acres of Australian bush, our property is ideal for campers that want their own space. We are completely off-grid (no wifi to distract you) and we run off tank water (for this reason showers are only available for two hours in the evening). There are multiple camp sites on the property - some are close to hot showers and toilets, others are within a short walking distance. Some sites are perfect for our self sufficient campers who might want a nice private location and don't need access to amenities. There are two shared camp kitchen areas (with pizza ovens and bbqs). We have two amenities blocks with toilets and hot showers and two further compost toilets located at other sites. Campfires are permitted in designated areas (check with us when booking) and firewood can be added to your booking - we do require at least 24 hours notice if you want wood. There are lots of old-style games for the kids such as cricket, tennis, playground, bikes available, a swim in the dam and general country running around fun! Unfortunately we no longer have our flying fox, but there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy. We have some great bush walking areas where you might be lucky enough to see our resident wombats or our breeding pair of Wedge-tailed Eagles. You might also be lucky enough to be there when our two kelpies, Finn and Tori, are moving sheep through the property (they like to put on a show!!). The property dates back to the early 1900s and there are numerous historic buildings on the property. The earliest is a wooden slab hut that was built around the beginning of the 19th century - the Goulburn Penny Post newspaper, dated 3 December 1904 lines the walls of the hut. It also has a two shearing stand wooden shed built by Marcus Dawe in 1922. We try to make sure all of our guests have a great experience - so if you have any special requests reach out to us and have a chat!

We booked our stay here after the property was recommended in a Facebook group. I then read the reviews on Hipcamp which were amazing and so I booked it. I took my 2 kids 10 and 12. We camped in a tent. We really enjoyed our time and highly recommend it. As other reviews have mentioned, the owners Joel and Karen are lovely people. They made us feel really welcome and were very generous with the firewood we ordered. Karen made us beautiful raspberry and white choc muffins on our second day as well! The toilets were clean and decent. There is a lot of activities for kids there. If you have kids you can do things such as golf (was really fun and decent for a paddock golf course, we played it twice. Seven hole course) cricket, basketball hoops on the tennis court and of course tennis. They also have bikes there you can use. We had a really good time and will go back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful and every morning the sunrise was breathtaking over the dam. Although we didn’t have any luck fishing, we had a great time sitting there having a go. The kids loved how many activities were on offer. The shower was nice and warm and the facilities kept nice and clean. Would definitely love to come back with a big group in the summer!

Camping for the whole fam!
One of the best places to go if you want actually space and freedom when camping. The property is split into different sections and never gets overcrowded. Jol and Karen are great people and are doing a top job at giving people a true camping experience. 5 stars.

First camp with Axle
Thanks to Jol and Karen for an amazing getaway on their property. This was a first trip[ for us with our 9 year old rescue dog and they were so so accommodating for our request for a remote site. It was a great opportunity to get the dog (Axle) used to a safe space away from home and test tethering (even though not required). The tasty afternoon treat were a nice touch from Karen's Kitchen too :)
