Loved our site we had fun playing in the beautiful crystal clear river by spotlighting at night to discover wgat creatures we'd find and during the day we built rock paths, dams and bridges Not bad for a 60 year old eh!? We explored along the rivers edge and around our site (be prepared to spend quality time on each other like monkeys, picking off all the seeds you collected along the way, we looked like we battled a porcupine 🤣) Regarding solar, because of the sites position you'll receive the Sun between 9am- 4pm. Cows are very friendly and not skittish. The handsome bulls keep their distance and are not threatning. Anthony left plenty of cut wood upon our arrival which we appreciated. The wildlife truly is amazing.

Brilliant quiet campsite, truly serene, it's everything Anthony described. We're most appreciative of the firewood he'd prepared for us. We experienced plenty of wildlife, birds and farm animals. Every night we went spotlighting in the crystal clear shallow river which delighted us with its abundant species of shrimps, gudgeons, small fish, a frog and my exciting encounter with a beautiful 1 metre long-finned eel swimming around my feet. For those with solar our campsite- the rapids is postioned to receive the Sun rays from 9am- 4pm. Definitely a 4wd is needed to exit the campsite 😒. We stayed 6 days instead of 9 due to an unusual sudden drop in temperature (heavy frost the next morning enough to make 2 large snowballs!) We're not bothered by the cold but fearing days of heavy rain would ensue so we made the decision to leave. Thank you so much Anthony for your lovely property, your kindness and for going beyond helping us when we needed it, we are most grateful.

We loved our stay at Everlong. It was an absolutely stunning spot, beautiful creek, private - couldn't ask for more. Anthony went above and beyond in his hosting - great communication, went out of his way to help, great to have plenty of firewood there and ready to go (especially in winter!). Perfect place to switch off from the world!

The camping was exceptional in a beautiful spot on the property which is next to the clear running Moodong creek. If you are after absolute privacy, peace and tranquility, then this site is hard to beat. You honestly feel you are a million miles from everything and everyone. If you make the effort and climb the adjacent hill, you will be rewarded with great views and slight mobile phone coverage (5G) Anthony is a great bloke who shows you to your campsite and even delivers a load of firewood......fantastic. Highly recommended.

The Rapids.

A beautiful camp at the The Rapids for two nights. Anthony met me and showed me the way to the site. He was surprised I brought a 7x5 trailer and said that no-one does that. He didn’t think I would get down to the site, but I had no difficulty at all. It was all my fault as I didn’t notice in the site description that it does say no trailers. I booked it in haste so lesson learnt. Beautiful running stream and a great layout. Quite flat but I unfortunately didn’t see any platypus. I will certainly return.

2nd time camping here and still continues to be one of our top spots! The hosts are incredible with the kids letting them feed all the animals etc. The water was a bit colder this time round but as usual crystal clear- also didn't stop the kids swimming and kayaking. Again beautiful spot and already planning when we can go back.

Just got back from an awesome weekend at Everlong Camp, staying at the Rapid sites, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. The whole place was peaceful, perfect for switching off and just enjoying nature. We had clear skies, warm days, and cool nights that made it ideal for relaxing by the water. The water was clean, refreshing, and easily one of the highlights of the trip. The hosts were also fantastic to deal with—great communication from start to finish, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

PERFECT RIVERSIDE CAMP

The good indication of a quality Hipcamp site is if you would go back! The answer is %100 yes. If you are looking for a pet friendly, riverside campground with a helpful, friendly and accommodating host then look no further than ‘Evermore’. I stayed at the Rapids site, aptly named for the small river / creek that runs past the site. Anthony is a fantastic host who brought down a load of firewood and stayed for a chat. Now 4wd driving is not my thing at all and the road after the gate is dirt, rocky and winds a bit but when you see the location it is all worth it. Located past Araluen, through Braidwood on the Neringla road and towards the further end so be prepared for a scenic drive. The camp is grassy, designated fire pit and perfect for a car camp. You would not get a trailer or caravan to this smaller site. It was perfect for my roof top tent. We did have some visitors in the shape of about 10 cows who got up close and personal. About 50m downstream was a great spot for a swim about 1.5m deep and crystal clear. I would highly recommend The Rapids for a car camp or camp near the car and the host was a great bloke and very receptive and accommodating. I am giving it 4 stars out of 5 but that is only because I hate dirt roads! A great spot. Check out my video review and detailed camping video on Youtube @RobboOutdoors..

Stayed 3 nights at everlong at the platypus campground over the March period, with my family of 2 young kids and my folks. Everything exceeded our expectations. The river was incredible, 3-4m deep in some spots and crystal clear. The whole family was in and out of it all day. 2 kayaks were provided by Anthony which was great to explore up and down the river. There were rapids at one end, which would have been fun with a lilo or mat to float down. There was a designated firepit and provided firewood! Mowed camping sections for bigger groups. Fishing early morning and night. Nothing caught but seeing the mist over the valley early morning was something special. Would highly recommend, was a great short trip to disconnect from society and enjoy staying in natures paradise. Thanks to the hosts for sharing this special place with everyone

We recently just enjoyed out 3 night stay at Everlong, It was a fantastic stay right on the river which the host provided kayaks and a fire pit with plenty of wood. The river was super clear and was a amazing river to swim in, We even caught a bass. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Perfect for an off grid get away.

Loved this camp. The views were amazing and the land was lush grass and the creek was beautiful. A great place to bring little ones. So great that firewood is supplied and it is plentiful and also the kayak that is there to use was another bonus. Hosts are friendly, generous and we will definitely be back.

Great camp site off the beaten track - 4wd is a must. Beautiful setting by a flowing creek with both rapids and some deeper plunge pools, level site, private and plenty of good quality firewood provided for the open fire, complete with bbq plate. Anthony’s a very welcoming host. Highly recommended.

Creekside oasis

An incredibly secluded paradise. Absolutely stunning natural beauty. Follow owner instructions from Neringla Road turnoff, not GPS. Host was incredibly helpful and escorted us to the camp site once we arrived. We loved exploring the creek. The animals and fish surrounding the site were amazing, especially the pretty dragonflies. Creek was lovely to sit and cool off. We hope to come back soon.
