Neringla is a 900 hectare cattle grazing property situated in the Deua National Park. Neringla has been the family business since 1923. We offer several sites across our property. The campsites is suitable for campers that are experienced and reasonably equipped. You can walk up the creek or can challenge yourselve and walk into the mountain.

Neringla is a beautiful valley. There are a number of choices. You can wake listening to a bubbling creek or you could camp on ridge where you can watch the sun rise from your tent. Or you could be on a the small flats surrounded by hills, ridges and gullies. What ever you choose it is quiet and peaceful.

Tucked quietly within a natural ring of trees, this secluded campsite offers a rare sense of privacy and calm. The canopy forms a gentle shelter, softening the wind and filtering the light, creating a space that feels removed from everything else. Just a short walk away, a small stream winds its way through the landscape—close enough to hear its movement, yet far enough to keep the campsite dry and undisturbed. It’s the kind of place where mornings arrive slowly, and evenings settle in without interruption. Simple, protected, and quietly beautiful—this is a place to stop, breathe, and take in what’s around you.

We had an amazing stay at Peter’s farm! He was a fantastic host and made us feel right at home. The farm is super well cared for and felt really healthy and peaceful. The creek was clean and clear, which was such a nice bonus. Peter’s instructions on how to get to the site were very clear and easy to follow. He was also kind enough to leave some firewood. We’d definitely come back again—highly recommend this place!

Sez + myself had a wonderfull stay @ Pete's farm. We camped along Neringla Creek with plenty of shad and protection. The sound of the crek was very relaxing. Pete is a wonderful host allowing Sez to wonder about to paint and sketch. The Hipcamp is not far from Sydney for a very relaxing place to camp.

Camping on Peters land was a great experience and i recommend it to anyone who would like to camp in a beautiful space off the beaten path. Neringla has a population of 17 (as indicated in the last census). It was a memorable couple of nights and i regret we didnt spend more time there

On arrival we were greeted by our host Peter who was a happy friendly man and a terrific host. He escorted us to 2 sites adjacent a lovely babbling creek. Once selected, he quickly whizzed the mower around and we had a freshly mown level site for our pop-top caravan. We enjoyed our 8 night’s, sitting by the creek listening to the sound of nature. Loved having the cattle and potty calves around. Really nice landscape. We enjoyed chatting with Peter about his property and plans. We also met his wife Anya and their kids.

A great spot to just escape and chill out by the stream. We walked a few of the tracks (the hills were steep but had great views). an the valley was a great location. Peter was great host, helpful and easy going. Thanks for a great time Nick

We had such a wonderful stay at Neringla and Peter was an amazing host who had lots of knowledge to share about regenerative farming. We camped by the creek which was crystal clear and perfect for a dip (even though it was very cold). An absolutely beautiful setting for a quiet and peaceful getaway, we will be back!

We’ve been HipCamping for a few years now and this one is perfect for the self sufficient set up. Basically had 2000 acres to ourselves, peace and quiet, friendly informative hosts. Lovely way to spend quality time getting back to nature in a magnificent valley. Thanks Peter and family, we had a great time.

Relaxing stay with our dogs in our caravan by the creek. We enjoyed cooling off in the crystal-clear creek during the day and listening to it babble of a night whilst drifting off to sleep. Wombat Haven Creek is located in a beautiful valley - with great views and plenty of wildlife. Would definitely recommend staying here.

One of my favorite Hipcamp locations and experiences to date. The land is so beautiful and Peter was incredibly welcoming and kind. He took us to see the cattle being moved which was so fun to see and be a part of. Peter explained that he has quite a few different locations to set up camp on his land and even took me to see a few of the other spots. He'll guide each group of campers to the right spot for them. Our site was right along the creek bed under some gorgeous willow trees. I can't wait to return!

Had a lovely couple of nights on Peter’s farm beside a babbling brook with crystal clear water perfect for taking a dip after a long hot day. The area is beautiful and we would be happy to recommend it.

We had a great time camping at peters, the spot is well named as a wombat lives just the other side of the creek, the site was nice and quite, we had no trouble finding it at all. Peter is very friendly and helpful. We will be back

Amazing camping experience! Peaceful and serene sites for self-sufficient campers with great views all round (especially for sunrise and sunset). Peter was very friendly and helpful in ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend the cattle moving experience for those that haven't seen it before.

Absolutely great site. So peaceful and quiet, site freshly mown for us! Peter is lovely and friendly. Loved we could have the kids and dog and friends all together in a beautiful spot. Plenty of firewood was also awesome. The local pub was also great for lunch and not far away.

Had a fantastic Easter weekend camping on Peters property. He was very friendly and showed us right to the spot. We camped with our Subaru Forester, side awning and a swag, very comfortable. The grass was nice and green, the surrounds were very picturesque. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway with family or friends. We brought our dog too, he had an absolute ball.

Peter was a great host. Extremely accommodating and very down to earth. Property was fantastic. If traveling during summer being insect repellent. I would not hesitate in staying again.
