Rainforest Gateway is a family-owned park set on five acres of waterfront camping. Located on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road, in the Border Ranges ranges of northern NSW. The park features grassy powered sites, unpowered sites and comfortable units. On-site amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, laundry and camp kitchen. We are a dog-friendly park so the whole family is welcome. Dogs need to be restrained at all times. NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS. Relax and unwind by the creek or sit back enjoy a drink around the campfire at night with our family atmosphere. With great views, tranquil bushland, abundant wildlife there is always something to do. No WI-FI (yay!). Good Telstra reception. See also Youcamp listing Rainforest Gateway Units.

Rainforest Gateway Unit #2
Comfortable and relaxing
We stayed over Easter break in the unit and it was better then we expected. The bedroom is separate from the living room/kitchen area, which had a spare bed for a 3rd person. Amenities was very clean and Janine put an extra effort to keep the bathroom always clean and dry. A big shared kitchen, with a electric bbq, microwave, kettle… but not much pots or utensils though, so it’s good to bring your own, what we did and it was super smooth. The unit also had plates, cups, tea bags, cutlery, containers, extra blanket, and cabinet to store cloths and things. There is a little convenience store in the office with tea, eggs, mashmellow, firewood…. The creek runs though the property and we are lucky to see a baby tortoise. Nice vibes, team is very friendly and won’t hesitate to help you with what you need.

Will absolutely be back!
Absolutely loved this spot. Every site seemed to be along the beautiful green river, which was fantastic to swim in. Nobody was packed in, we felt so private even with neighbours. Room for the dog to run around and swim too. Great camp kitchen with beautiful fairy lights. Super clean showers and toilets. Easy 30 min drive to Kyogle for signal (none for vodafone but that's what we wanted!) and supplies. Firewood and ice if you need it. Plenty of shade in our spot too. The most perfect star gazing at night and fire pits allowed.
