We are professional musicians and love to meeting people. Elphie used to own the iconic Nimbin Rox backpacker hostel, and although Soulhaven is only in its infancy, it still has a relaxed atmosphere. Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops. Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle. This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest. Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home! Our place is family friendly and we ask that you keep music and noise to a minimum after 10pm.

The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children. All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space. The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. Having 3-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend. The cabin has flat ground on 2 sides which allows for additional campers (up to 20 people). In wet weather, 2WD and AWD may need to park a short distance downhill from the cabin. In addition we offer 3 creek-side camp sites which have plenty of room for large groups; they are all situated on well drained, grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites. Also in wet conditions they are not suitable for large caravans (in excess of 21 feet) unless you have some serious towing power (Landrover or RAM, for example). Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional call of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises opportunities for contemplation, relaxation and fun and it is our wish that you will have many happy memories of your visit here.

This place is paradise! Amazing spot surrounded by a creek, cows and beautiful land. We had the best time and were so grateful to Peter and Tania for accommodating us so last minute, as we booked the wrong weekend by accident! Amenities were so great, they had everything you need! Couldn’t recommend enough!!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Luxury Glamping tent at Ballina Beach Nature Resort. 🤎⛺️🐾 The tent was spacious, comfortable and such a nice change from our usual camping setup. We loved the four-poster bed, having our own bathroom and kitchen facilities, and being able to relax with the dogs nearby. It was peaceful, dog-friendly and a lovely spot to slow down. We especially enjoyed sitting outside, having a campfire and being close to the beach. Everything was easy from check-in through to our stay, and we’d happily stay again. A beautiful little glamping option if you still want that outdoor feel with a few extra comforts. 🐾🤎

We loved our stay at Barachi cabin. Driving into the property you easily start to switch off. Beautiful quiet spot with a lovely creek running through. Our dog loved exploring too. Enjoyed a nice hot outdoor shower in the morning sun. Laying in the hammock reading a book and a toasty outdoor fire under the stars. Lovely spot for a night only wish we could’ve stayed longer. We loved our stay at Aliki’s beautiful accommodation. Thank you for sharing such a peaceful and beautiful space. It is so clean & fresh. Everything has been provided for comfort. We enjoyed unwinding with serene landscape views, the luxury of the soothing outdoor hot tub and the calming sound of nature was truly wonderful. We can’t wait to visit again, we feel very relaxed and spoilt after our stay.

The place was honestly breathtaking. The view from the spa was amazing, and the assistance provided by Aliki was responsive and made things so easy. I would highly recommend this place, and even when we left our things behind mistakenly, Aliki offered, without being asked, to send them back which further demonstrates her commitment to providing a great experience. Beautiful and immaculate campsite. Amenities were spotless and creek running through the properly was spectacular. We stayed in a cabin which was very cosy and clean. Great spot to stay to access the Border Ranges National park.

Weekend Trip to Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

We stayed at the Sweet water cabin and it was amazing. The cabin is nested at the end of the valley on top of a hill with amazing views and only wildlife to keep you company. Extremely peaceful area and well thought out cabin with spacious common area and large rooms. We loved every minute of it anf will be looking to return. The owners are very responsive via the app and easy to communicate. Highly recommend.

We had such a great stay! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to switch off for the weekend. We loved being able to have a campfire, and it was a lovely surprise that there was plenty of free firewood available. We went for a walk around the property, saw cows and even some kangaroos, which made the experience even more special. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing camping getaway. We’d definitely love to come back!

We loved our glamping experience at Barachi! Such a beautiful private spot & so peaceful listening to the whip birds calling and the creek flowing. The little shack was perfect! It was rustically decorated with pretty fairy lights as well as practical solar lighting. Peter & Tania had really thought of everything & we were pleasantly surprised with the few extra touches and bits and pieces that were available. We are all about having a campfire and we were impressed with the outdoor fire pit area & enjoyed lighting up the pot belly stove. Peter was very helpful & made sure we were able to safely enter & exit the property, given recent rain and quite muddy conditions. Would love to return in a different season to enjoy swimming in the creek & relaxing in the outdoor bath.

4 nights at Barachi by the Creek

A great rustic cabin, filled with character, bordered by a running creek in a private setting. Peter greeted me at his property and drove me down to the cabin, sharing some of the local history of the property and region And a bag of home grown mandarins. I was provided with a tour of the facilities and left to my own devices - it’s well contained, private and quiet. The fire lit bath worked a treat though in winter, I’d recommend enjoying prior to the sun disappearing. There are candles and some solar powered lights to provide some atmospheric lighting. It can get cool in the evening, so take advantage of the hot water bottles provided. There is a bit of cell reception around the cabin if needed to send text messages but it’s otherwise a great place to switch off, read and chill out.

We stayed a night in the Valley View Pod, on a weekend exploring the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Southaven was perfect to come back to for a peaceful evening and a good nights rest. The shared amenities were clean and tidy, and Elphie’s property is a great getaway in nature.

A 10/10 stay! We loved staying at Aliki’s cabin, it was quiet and peaceful with a comfortable bed, good shower, fantastic spa and well looked after and clean throughout. Aliki was the perfect host, helpful and let you relax and enjoy your stay. Heaps of restaurants in Lismore and a lovely area all together. Definitely recommend the walk from the garden to the creek, it takes approximately 20 mins to get down. We will 100% stay again! Thanks Aliki!

Weekend Trip to Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

4 adults and 3 furbabies.......wow what a fabulous time we had!!!! Everything in the house was just perfect and being able to be altogether sitting on the deck was the best. Late afternoon fires outside seeing the cloud roll in over the mountains and then the stars, bliss. We can't rate this place high enough. Thank you to Jane and her family for allowing us to stay in such a special place.
