The host was kind enough to accept my request for two cars at one campsite, which I really appreciated. I had my Jimny with a rooftop tent and my friend had a small hiking tent. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the site felt quite cramped — definitely not enough space for both my Jimny and a Mazda 2 comfortably. Luckily, my friend didn’t arrive the first night, otherwise he would have had to move his car out in the rain based on the host’s instructions.
I arrived around 9 pm and double-checked with the host that my parking spot was okay, and they said yes. I stayed away from a caravan (less than 10meters away, right next to the campfire tin), I was not sure if anyone’s inside, but also didn’t want to pass the ‘stop here’ line much. But after I’d already set up my rooftop tent, the host messaged asking me to back up a bit, next to the caravan, there was no one inside 🥹 But It was raining at the time and my rooftop tent has been wide opened, so I decided not to move again.
I didn’t see any toilets or showers, so I can’t comment on the facilities. This is not an open view campsite — it’s more of a hidden, tucked-away-in-the-woods site, which some campers might love. Just be aware that you’ll likely be parked quite close to an empty caravan.
