We had a fantastic stay. It was great to find the amenities clean, tidy and with hot water. The site was flat and we had a decent camp fire pit right next to where we set up. We pre- booked into a distillery tour and spent our time with Genise, who was the perfect host. We learnt the ins and outs of the distillery, how they came to be in the industry and had a fabulous time tasting the excellent quality whisky and rum. Included was a platter with the most delicious locally produced cheese. Definitely worth a visit. One tip is camp towards the rear of the site as there can be a bit of road noise in the morning. But that did not bother us at all.
I had the best experience on this property! Location was great, facilities were immaculate and the added bonus of having the distillery on site to participate in a tasting was a fun addition to our trip! Genise & Brian thanks so much for having us, it was such a wonderful experience and your hospitality was spectacular!
Great overnight stop. Genise met us on arrival and made us feel most welcome. The shower and toilet were lovely and clean, perfect after a day of travelling. This camp has everything you need.
