Wonderful Experience!
This is a beautiful and special place. We were the only campers there, so we had it all to ourself. The land itself is beautiful, with lots of room to roam. We saw beautiful birds and kangaroos. Graham is a really neat person with a very special vision. The bathroom and shower facilities are clean and really nice to have. Being so near the Dark Sky Reserve, the stars were incredible! We were attracted to this place by the land, location and set-up...not necessarily the naturist element. We have no concerns about nudity, it's not our thing at this point in our lives to be opently nude. That said, the concept and experience was thought provoking and positive. Not at all uncomfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

Thanks for an amazing stay Graham!
Our stay at Maalaabidi was so much more than we had expected. A truly wonderful experience thanks for Graham's warm and generous hospitality, the facilities and setting. 'Know before you go' tips for Maalaabidi:
#1. Do yourself a favour and take some time to hang with Graham. He's a treasure trove of cultural knowledge, an avid musician and an all round amazing human. My partner and I really enjoyed chatting to him and sharing stories. I not only learned so much, I felt I left with a new friend.
#2. Don't pack the kitchen sink. The kitchen setup is fantastic and has pretty much everything including a fridge, kettle, stove, hot and cold water, plates, glasses, cooking utensils, basics like sugar and salt etc.
#3. Bring cash for the honesty box. Graham has a proper coffee machine and makes a great coffee ($3), plus there's beers, home-harvested honey ($5) and if you're very lucky, a dinner on offer. On the Saturday we visited, there was a lamb roast, heaps of veg, plus trifle, fruit salad and ice cream all served buffet style and shared around the campfire. Great stuff!
#4. Ask about the Dingo Den (the little cabin) in winter months as it looks like it'd be super cosy! It has full size bed, kitchenette, outdoor shower and toilet plus AC and a verandah. It's a good option for those who want to ease into trying out the Naturalist lifestyle.
#5. Keep in mind Maalaabidi is a Naturalist "clothing optional" space, but it's totally ok to go at your own pace and ease into it.

A great spot with a great host!
Graham is a great host who truely makes you feel welcome. He has a great soul and appreciates everyone he meets. He has an epic property. Plenty of space to pitch a tent. Great facilities, especially a warm showers. Stay nude or don’t, it’s a safe space for all. The Milky Way here is unreal!! On clear nights, it’s so clear you can see satellites moving and ‘shooting stars’. It’s a very special place my husband and I will be returning to in the near future. :)

Farm/bush camp under the stars
My husband and I had a great stay at Maalaabidi for a few nights. Graham and Janice were very accommodating hosts who were very welcoming and friendly from the get go. Surrounded by bushland and paddocks with views over the valley as far as you can see, at night the stars were incredible with the unobstructed view, staying here was a great place to get away from it all. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking all our meals easy.
We can't fault maalaabidi in anyway and we will definitely be back in the future.
