Lovely quiet bush camp, lots of birds and kangaroos. Tara came for a chat and a check in with a big storm rolling in. Loved it 😊

We enjoyed staying at the main dam on Tara's farm. We had a great time relaxing by the water and camp fire. There was plenty of space and plenty for the kids to do, whether playing on play equipment, slide, wading and splashing in the water or throw a line in. We even managed to catch a few fish! The toilet on site was very clean, and there was a BBQ available too. If you're looking for a nice, quiet time away camping and fishing, I recommend Tara's farm.

Sweet as little spot. Just a good place to kick back with a fire and a beer. Peaceful, quiet, nice and dark at night to enjoy the night sky. I'll more than likely be back next time I'm out that way

Nice spot for camping, very private when no one else is there. Toilet is clean and well maintained. Lots of sticks around for a fire. Easy to access and not far from Gulgong and Mudgee.

Our second visit was just magic!
We love relaxing by the dam in the hammock, fishing & exploring the property on our bikes. Love the little on site loo & we use our own shower set up connected to our caravan. Thanks Tara & family, see you again soon 😊

Nice private bit of land next to the dam, Tara was even nice enough to get the fire going before I arrived! To those complaining about the dam being low, maybe do a rain dance before hand, not like they fill it from the garden hose! Get real! 😂

Son loved pottering around in the mud, fishing & looking for bugs.
The directions were clear & Tara is super helpful.

Driving through the dump of broken machinery, cars etc. sets the tone for the rest of the property. They really want everyone situated around the dirty mud hole they call the main dam, as that is the only area hastily somewhat tidied prior to our arrival. The very old photos on the listing don’t show the reality of the dam; dirty water, mud and very uninviting. Plenty of other more private sites on the property but all have been left to go wild. The hosts didn’t even bother to say hello during our 4 day stay, which suggests they don’t really care. The only saving grace is the access to firewood and close proximity to Mudgee; day trips kept us sane. Won’t be back.

Bit of a scruffy, bushy site, no views, dam was a lot smaller than in the photos and looked a lot cleaner, but it was level and easy to find. Definitely wouldn’t return

What a cracking spot! Great bush camping area and not expensive like some others. The kids spent the entire time out on the water. Tara had great communication and nothing was a hassle. We will be back for sure.

Overall, we had a great experience, even though the site was basic. We had the campsite to ourselves so 10/10 for privacy and tranquility of the site. Amenities are at the main building and quite a distance from the camp site. Shower is great and hot, and toilet/powder room () spacious and well appointed, but only one of each. Stand-in caretaker was camped immediately outside the shower/toilet, which was less that ideal

I really loved it here, I stayed 5 nights and found it really relaxing. Lots of wildlife and bird life around. Tara the host was lovely, she even brought me a fresh pumpkin she picked one of the days, very thoughtful.

Was a great spot! Peaceful and private, we were lucky to have the place to ourselves. We didn’t have a dip in the dam but our pups did and loved it. A massive storm came through and our hosts kindly came out to check on us. Tara was great communicator and the site was well signed and easy to find. Highly recommended.

Nice quiet and secluded spot, dam was full and lots of birds around. Tara was very accommodating. The available toilet is basic but perfectly comfortable. Easy, leveled access. Wasn’t too busy for our trip with about 3 others set up.

A great place to camp. Tara is a lovely host.
We stayed by the dam, brilliant for swimming and with the opportunity to use the kayaks, as well as pleasant bush walks with the dogs.

Lovely spot with a nice dam for a dip to cool down. Some shade and plenty of firewood on the ground to collect. Hosts swung by to say hi, they were very nice.

Terrific bush camp stay. Lots of birds / nature in general. We were the only ones there, so lovely and serene. Met Tara - made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
