If you're up for a hike or an adventure, we are located close to Goulburn River National Park and Lees Pinch lookout, which has a walking track offering spectacular views across the south and east of the National Park, and is perfect for birdwatching.
Enjoy a campfire dinner or simply relax around the crackling campfire in the evenings. There is plenty of timber lying around so help yourself.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water.
Your pooch is most welcome to join you but must be on a lead at all times as we have a lot of farm animals. You are welcome to take your kids for a close up greet and meet with the animals over the fence.
This is a family friendly campsite, please no shooting, dirt-bike riding or 4WDing on the property.

This Homestead is set on 22 acres, just a short drive from the home of the Black Stump at Weetaliba, NSW. Camping under the stars is a must here as you are able to star-gaze at Australia's first Dark Sky Park.
The homestead has 3 separate paddocks each with their own dam where you can have total privacy during your camp. Although you may have a visit from the resident sheep who graze the pastures (don't worry - they are friendly).
A perfect place for bird watching an array of native birds including rosellas, cockatoos, and currawongs and you will hear the kookaburras every morning and evening. There are also kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas who roam the area. It's a beautiful place to snap a pic especially if you catch the morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets which are guaranteed to wow you.
Do as little or as much as you want to on your stay. A perfect place to just unwind and take in the fresh country air and beautiful views. Stroll around the property and visit the old barn and some of the sheds and farming equipment that are scattered among the paddocks.
You will have access to composting toilets or feel free to BYO facilities. Campfires are welcome in the pits provided, permitting there are no restrictions at the time of your visit. Dogs are welcomed as long as they are supervised and kept indoors at night.
Being within 20 minutes to the local town of Coolah, it's a perfect stop over for an overnight stay or for a long weekend. You can easily duck into town to stock up on supplies or visit a good old country pub for a meal.

The ultimate Farm Solitude Camping experience for nature lovers seeking adventure, peace and serenity.
This is not a place for parties and loud noise, but if you want to get away from it all and relax in a secluded Campsite surrounded by beautiful Native Bushland or explore miles of trails, gullies, caves, Flight Springs Creek and the exquisite Bow River, take some time to camp at Hillside, which is a remote 2000 acre working cattle property situated 23km west of MERRIWA, 17 km off the Golden Highway, adjoining the Goulburn River National Park.
Most sites are in secluded area's far away from each other but at busy times people may pass by some sites to access the river. There are plenty of walking trails and for the enthusiastic bushwalker, the Bow River winds its way 7kms down to the Goulburn River through the National Park with its gentle flowing stream and rock pools nestled between sandstone cliffs of caves.
All sites are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after.
(Note: The National Park holds its annual wild dog baiting program from the 19th April until 31st October. Baits will be laid approximately 1km from our boundary.)
Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions. Cut firewood is available on request $20 lots, cash only.
4WD and High vehicles are recommended as tracks have rocky outcrops and some areas of loose sand. Some sites can be accessed by 2WD. The Bow River area is strictly 4WD (Low Range) access ONLY as it is extremely steep with loose gravel and rocky outcrops. AWD (All wheel drive) vehicles will not get back out. For all 4WD areas please let your Tyres down to 25psi to help conserve our tracks.
All sites have toilets, but guests will need their own shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
Phone Service is very limited in this area. If you email a request, sometimes it may take a few hours for us to reply.
No motorbikes or chainsaws and no hunting allowed.
WARNING: There are many areas of cliff edges and shear drops! Children must be supervised at all times while exploring these areas. There are also dams at or near some of the campsite areas that could be dangerous if children wander off exploring alone.

We also have several dams across the property, so bring your swimmers if you'd like to take a dip, or pack the fishing gear and throw in a line. Some of our dams are stocked with Silver Perch and Murray Cod.
Maiden Jewel is a working property where we breed horses and cattle, so you'll get to experience a little of everyday country life during your stay. The property is also home to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, goannas, deer and an abundance of birdlife.
Camping is off-grid and guests are expected to be self-contained, including bringing their own toilet and shower facilities. There is one portaloo centrally located on the property; however, depending on where you're camping, you may need to drive to access it.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead due to our horses, cattle and abundant wildlife.
NOTE. Noise curfew 9pm this is a family campsite. If you want loud music and late nights this is not the place for you.

Tar sealed road all the way to the front gate and then only 150metres in on farm to your campsite on a very well-maintained road suitable for ALL vehicles. We have wide gate access to suit all vehicles/trailers of any size to go in and out and all sites are grassy and level.
Great spot to relax, chill and take in the amazing country air and surroundings, relax by a fire, cook marshmallows or a camp oven feast. Walk down to the edge of this campsite and listen to the creek trickle past, go bushwalking, listen to the birds and watch the Kangaroos. Of a night you will be amazed at how many stars you can see, it is just beautiful, so don't forget to look up.

There is also bush walking. There is a small common area/ shed available with a bbq for guests to use and a table.
If exploring please do not go through any fences as you may end up on a neighbors property.
Guests may camp as close or far away from the main dam as they like, camp sites are first in first served.
Pets allowed if kept under control, firewood is permitted to be used from the ground only no felling of standing trees, you may have a fire on the ground. NO fires during a total fireban.
Please find your own way to camp by following your map that will be sent to you on booking and the signs that are posted from the driveway on after you turn in the main entrance, no need to meet and greet with host although I may come around occasionally to see if everything is going alright.

Meet our beautiful big black stallion Indi and his best mate Tyrone the Shetland pony. There is a big family of tiny Fairy-wrens that populate the property with their sweet little sounds.
When you get to the property, go through the green gate on the left hand side. This takes you into the main house space where you can get power and water. Extension cords can be provided as the main switch is under the carport. There is a fridge you can also plug in and use if needed.

Night fall provides star gazing below some of the cleanest air in Australia. Planes, satellites and if you squint hard enough you might see something else. Watch the Starlink trail, wish upon a shooting star.
Pull your caravan out the back or park your motorhomes up the front, pitch a tent almost anywhere.
Set up a camp fire and sit in the perfect silence that surrounds you. Bush walk or mountain bike around and experience kangaroos and an emu unfazed by human interaction! We enjoyed our camp at Hillside, it is a very peaceful secluded spot in the true Australian bush. Campsites are well spread out with a clean portaloo provided at each campsite. Host David was very responsive and gave helpful information on having the best experience on his property. Lots of walking tracks, caves and 4wd tracks to be explored. We particularly enjoyed the walk up the Bow river. We visited during a dry spell so dams and creeks were dry and the only water was in the Bow river. We would love to come back for a winter camp. Sitting around the fire at night with stars overhead was blissful.

Tracks to drive and a lot more then we could see in our time. Your not cramped in with any one else and are pretty much hiring out a paddock would definitely return

The campsite and portaloo were spotlessly clean and the whole place was so well looked after - Dave was an incredible host. We had an easy arrival, so much space with a great walking and 4x4 tracks. We saw lots of wild life too!

Wallaby Flat is a great camping ground. Dave is very nice, he met us at the gate and brought us in to the campsite. There are plenty to explore in the site - cave, canyons, 4wd track, scenary. Some campground do require 4wd vehicle while some does'n't. However we would highly recommend 4wd vehicle and a full tank to make the most out of it in exploring his site.

Nice quiet camp-site close to the dam. Plenty of fire wood for a camp fire. Fishing is a bit of fun flicking a lure.

The dusty road was worth the camping spot at the dam. It was just us. Nice and quiet and even though the dam was low the kids had fun looking for yabbies,turtles and fishing.

There is lots to see and explore, or you can relax by the river and take it all in.

Belisco farm is a beautiful spot to camp. Hosts are fantastic. We only stayed 1 night as we were travelling through, wish we had been able to stay longer. Very quiet.
