Nestled right beside the Murrundini River, all 3 campsites are beside the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace. Campsite 2 (site two) is shady, surrounded by tall swamp gums, black wood wattles and tree ferns. This spot is at its best from late spring through to autumn . Site One is a large flat area beside the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far. Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space. All sites have fire places and gas BBQ's (byo gas bottle) And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck. The original home stead (built in 1876) burnt down in the 2009 black Saturday fires. There still remains many 150+ year old elms and other European trees near the toilet block, which are delightful in autumn. We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant and rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. Beautiful isolated property with giant tree ferns, bushland and grassy paddocks. The campsite is next to our spring fed dam and backs onto 10acres of bushland. The dam is great for kayaking, swimming, fishing. There is plenty of room for footy, cricket, volleyball or just relaxing. Our farm is home to our 5 pet cows, 12 sheep, 3 Goats, 6 horses and chooks. Kangaroo, deer, echidna and wombats are seen roaming daily. We grow our own fruit and veggies, make preserves and also have bee hives. We are opening our farm up to share our country lifestyle. Only 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD making it a perfect location for corporate functions, brand launches, small private functions, photo shoots, film productions. Please note we are NOT a party venue for loud music and drunkeness. Totally private, secluded and surrounded by native bushland, paddocks and our spring fed dam. PLEASE NOTE, OUR FARM IS A GLASS FREE AND SMOKING FREE SITE. Our animals and native animals call this area home. Grass, animals and bare feet do not mix with broken glass. We are situated between Healesville sanctuary and the penguins at Phillip Island plus BawBaw is just over an hour away. Puffin Billy is also close by at Emerald lake Locally we have wineries, restaurants such as Omy, The independent and Jason’s. There is a few apple orchards near by one with a cafe attached to their distillery. The property is a working farm specialising in horse riding lessons. Horse riding lessons are available if pre booked. $150 per lesson. The camp site is literally up the back paddock and just under an hour from Melbourne. It is 4wd access only. And you will need to be an experienced 4wd driver. Bathroom facilities are located at the front of the prop;erty and the camp ground is at the back.

A beautiful and peaceful spot. Susan was a fantastic host, thoughtful, kind and responsive. I was even gifted some homemade chilli jam and eggs. I spent 2 nights here just cooking on the fire, watching the wildlife by the pond including a wide variety of bird life and a fox. The set up has everything you need- camp toilet, mud kitchen, table and chairs and even a hut to have shelter in the rain. Plenty of fallen kindling to be collected if needed. Will return to explore some of the walking tracks. So nice to be able to have a solo getaway and not have to share the campsite with anyone, but feel totally safe. Just a short drive into town. Highly recommend.

1 night at Millers Farm "The Hills are alive"

It was pure joy to wake up on Miller's farm. The rooster heralded dawn - better than any alarm clock. That inspired the chorus of birdsong; kookaburras, cockatoos, wattlebirds, magpies, currawongs. That in turn encouraged the sheep - they started their day bleating for their feathered friends to join them. Farmer Anne let the feathers free and mayhem reigned. Chooks, turkeys and the sole duck running around chatting with excitement at the new day. The goats and alpacas were pretty happy to say hi too. How lucky were we to be part of it. Highly recommend Miller's Camp - check in was easy. Communication great. Anne was lovely. Camp kitchen was a bonus. Great stay. Thankyou.

The place was right next to the National Park, so it was easy to access for walks. There was a lovely little walk along the creek too. The campsite itself was spacious and was great to have free wifi and power. Make sure you order the eggs and sourdough bread. They were absolutely delicious. Clara, the host, was lovely.

Had a fabulous long weekend. The site was large and by the river which was very relaxing. There was a great sized firepit where we enjoyed evening fires. Lisa and Bernie are great hosts. We did a couple of trips into Walhalla and had a great meal at the Erica pub.
