Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne.
As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house.
With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb.
Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Each level is quite narrow so camper vans that flip out to the side and annexes are likely not to fit.

With a large covered deck connected to the front of the tiny house, you don't have to go anywhere to witness Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburra to name a few. Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Rest assured, you will get to experience the views in your own privacy and space as bookings are exclusively limited. We encourage guests to choose your site on arrival, based on your needs.
Nearby to Bonnie Brae there is an abundance of local treasures including Tarra Bulga National Park, Toms Cap Winery, Mount Tassie, trail rides, hiking, bush walks, swimming holes, Woodside beach, and country town centres.

Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Spent a night at the horseshoe bend camp, which we had to ourselves. Facilities were great and the owners very friendly. Nice stargazing to be had and plenty of birdlife around.

Wonderful place for a group. Plenty of space for kids to run around, and they loved mucking around in the river. Adults loved the shady oak tree and hot showers.

This camp spot was exactly what I was looking for. Very private, extremely clean, and so peaceful. It felt like a true getaway from everything, with plenty of space and no disturbances at all. You can tell a lot of care has gone into maintaining the site. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing escape.

This was an awesome camp site for our group of 2 caravans adjacent to the river and looking across to the alpaca's and to the groves of hazelnut tree's. Lisa and Bernie were super helpful and friendly. Definitely a camping location we will be coming back to and exploring their other beautiful river side camping sites.

The lake site was great with a couple of boats to use for a bit of fun. Check in was easy and the coffee was good too. I would definitely recommend Frank’s farm.
