Leave the noise of the city behind and travel to Noojee, a town named after the Aboriginal word for contentment or place to rest. Surrounded by lush native bush and towering tree ferns, this picturesque town on the Latrobe River sits on the main access route to the ski fields of Mt Baw Baw and is home to a wide range of heritage and natural attractions. The property consists of 5 acres with a river, so you can set up a tent right next to the river and fish for dinner. The house is about 100 meters away from the camping area, but there are about 1000 Oregon trees that are 50 years old, so you can't see each other well, so you can enjoy nature freely. 4WD is recommended for easy access. We recommend tents/swags. 4WD with Heavy trailer is still very hard to enter when it is wet. Guests will have access to a toilet throughout their stay. There is a communal fire pit available, so guests can enjoy a campfire on the cool evenings. Please abide by any local fire restrictions during your stay. You can walk from my house to Noojee Heritage Centre, Trestle Bridge, Alpine Trout Farm, and Noojee Hotel for a delicious pizza, Cool beer from tool sheed and coffee from red duck cafe. You can drive to Toorongo Falls, Ada Tree in 10 minutes and Baw Baw Ski Resort in 40 minutes.

Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne. As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house. With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb. Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! Perfect for bushwalking or mountain biking. What you can do around here: 30 minutes drive to Tarra Bulga National Park, Woodside Beach and Maryvale Pines MTB track. 20 minutes to Yarram for shopping and awesome coffee, also popular for Heesco murals. Outdoor swimming pool is open in summer time where you can have a hot shower. 5 minutes to Carrajung Estate which has exceptional wine and incredible cuisine.

Guests are welcome to take a walk amongst the vines, subject to vineyard operations during the season of course. All guests must be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Fire restrictions in place during your stay must be observed. Firewood is available for purchase from a neighbour, located opposite the entrance to Summerhill Road. 4wd accessible during the wetter months and 2wd during the drier months. We are a 5-minute drive from Yarra Junction township, with supermarkets, butchers and a small shopping precinct. The picturesque township of Warburton is just over 7kms away. Restaurants, cafes, and wineries are all a short drive from here. Yarra Ranges National Park is also on our door step. We are a 1hr 15mins drive from Melbourne, though Summerhill Vineyard will have you feeling a world away. The Yarra Valley offers quality local food and wine, breathtaking scenery, walks, cycling tracks, and tourist destinations like Healesville Sanctuary, Lotus Water Gardens, Warburton Rail Trail and much more. Or.....you can chill out and just enjoy the serenity and views from your campsite. My family live on the property, close to 1/2km from the campsite, far enough away for your complete privacy, or close enough if you need us! Weekend Trip to Summerhill Vineyard

We had a wonderful stay at Summerhill Vineyard, and spent two nights at the Cypress Corner campsite. It was the perfect camping spot very private, peaceful, and incredibly quiet, exactly what we were looking for. We were warmly welcomed by Luke, Tonia’s husband, who was friendly and welcoming and took the time to show us around the campsite and amenities. Tonia was also very communicative before and during our stay, and it was lovely that she later visited our campsite to say hello—it made us feel truly welcome. The place is absolutely serene, surrounded by nature with birds singing throughout the day, and we were lucky to see kangaroos and lots of rabbits around the property. It was a beautiful escape and a perfect spot to relax and reconnect with nature. Thank you Tonia and Luke for having us. We loved every bit of our stay and would absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended!

We had such a relaxing stay here. The campsite is peaceful with a beautiful view of the river and surrounding nature. It was also really nice to properly disconnect from our phones for the weekend. Kim was incredibly welcoming. She even surprised us with fresh Korean pancakes while we were setting up (it was 10/10 so delicious). We visited on a rainy weekend and our AWD SUV had no issues getting in or out of the campsite. Kim’s pets were the absolute highlight and truly made the trip memorable. We adored them and would 100% come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway with a genuinely kind host.

My wife and I had a great stay in our 7.5m motorhome, and the camp site was very quiet and private. The potable water (accessible near house shed) is a bonus as well as the fire pit, log stools, and games box. Brooke is very proactive and responded quickly to any queries we had. Will definitely look forward to returning in the future.

The site itself was well kept and easily fit our two tents and two swags. The firepit area was well maintained, there was plenty of space to setup and the firewood purchased/provided was great for burning.

Campsite 3 was a fantastic spot—conveniently located near the toilet facilities and offering stunning views. It was the perfect place to unwind and truly disconnect, especially with no mobile reception. From the site, we could see cows grazing peacefully, all while enjoying the fresh country air. The firewood bundle provided was generous and lasted us two nights, which was a pleasant surprise. The only minor drawback was the proximity to the road—about 200 to 300 meters away—so we could frequently hear vehicles passing by. Overall, we were very happy with the campsite and would definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

Tonya met us at the gate and guided us through her beautiful property to our tranquil campsite in the vines. Up at our site we felt we had acres of picturesque landscape all to ourselves. The fog over the vines in the morning, the crimson sunsets over the vines and everything else in between. We could have stayed forever!!
