Camping sites are situated at the back of the property just a quick 5-minute walk from the car park. We'll transport your gear to your campsite so you can get set up quickly and start exploring the property or just kick back and relax. The state forest has many walking tracks that go on for miles, perfect if you want to go horse riding, motor bike riding or mountain biking or put on a pair of comfy walking shoes to hit the many walking tracks to take in the beautiful bush setting with the occasional wallaby or kangaroo darting out of the bush across your path.
We have the Great Southern Rail Trail just on our door step. It has now been completed from Nyora all the way through to Yarram. We have on of the entrances off Lanes Road.

Sites 1 - 2 situated in a 4 acre paddock on the main farm. Perfect for small camper vans, roof top tents and motor homes.
Site 3-5 situated on part of a 7 acre paddock with views of the hills and of the kangaroos that come onto the paddocks of a night out of the Alberton West State Forest. This site is perfect for larger vans, RV's, camper vans, roof top tents, motor homes.
Campfires are permitted (When there are no fire bans). No loud music, bring a camping toilet with you and take all rubbish with you.
You'll need to have your own amenities/be FULLY- self contained however if you don't have your own toilet, camp shower or fire pit you can hire them.
We have an abundance of native birds on our property. Rosella's, Kookaburras, Wedge Tail Eagles and sometimes Galah's. Just down the paddock on dawn and dusk we have a mob of kangaroos that come out of the bush to graze.

Very clean and safe place to camp with kids or for someone who wants to feel like they are camping but not have the suburban feel of a caravan park. Beautiful gardens and such a gorgeous part of the world. Host is welcoming yet gives you space. Respectful fellow campers. Was great, will return.

We loved camping at Milleara Gardens! It was a nice large, secure area, family friendly, with access to water. Toilet and shower was also available for an extra fee. Helen was lovely and greeted us upon arrival and checked in with us during our stay. We were part of a large group (3 bookings, 15 adults and 12 kids, with plenty of space for a long weekend. The stars at night out there were beautiful!

A perfect little Forrest getaway!
A perfectly quiet camp spot between the trees, even though there were other campers there we barely noticed them. Stunning views from the camping area!
Would definitely recommend the viewing platform for sunset, but pack warm clothes although the days are warm the evenings and mornings are cool (even in Jan)
Having the dogs off lead is also such a delight, a treat you don't get at most camp sites. A flushable bush toilet was also a little treat!
Chris was great, very helpful and gave a great recommendation of visiting waratah bay!
We will be back again!

This is our second time back at Chris’ property. The campsites are so tranquil and beautiful! we spent a lot of time on the hill on the property that has panoramic views, and the sunset is unbelievable. We treated ourselves to the bar cart and would highly recommend!
Chris goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable, and always asking for ways that would improve the experience. Coming back again next year :)

We had an amazing time at Bruthen Creek Pastrol farm stay. We were on the bush retreat with 6 family setups and there was a plenty of space for all. Damian was an amazing host, great communication and awesome on checking in with us that we were all OK. The kids loved riding their bikes up and down the farm track and looking at all the animals. The site was extremely peaceful and loved the star gazing in the evening. The water hole was great for a dip and play in the hot weather. There was plenty to do nearby.
Would 100% recommend and stay again.
