Site 1: Open and spacious big site with great views, Fits 6 - 12 people.
Site 2 and 3 are a bit smaller, surrounded by big pine trees, fit 4 - 8 people in each site. These two sites are closer to the Sunsets.
Site 4: is high up and has spectacular views, fit 6 - 12 people.
Site 5: is the most secluded, big site, fits up to 6 - 12 people. Also with great views.
Please no loud music - we are a place for those looking to relax.

Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne.
As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house.
With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb.
Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Each level is quite narrow so camper vans that flip out to the side and annexes are likely not to fit.
Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! Perfect for bushwalking or mountain biking.

Woodside Gardens offers private campsites for guests to choose from, located among natural bush of tea tree and gum trees.
Guests must be mostly self contained and must take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. We have a toilet available for our campers and an outdoor solar shower. Potable water as well. Please note that we are on tank water and please be careful to turn taps off and follow the instructions we have near each of the water sources.
Fires are allowed as long as the fire ban guidelines are followed. No ground fires allowed. We have fire pits available for you to use free of charge or bring your own. There is also plenty of wood around the place that you are welcome to pick up. But we recommended you bring some of the bigger logs with you.
Just a 5 minute drive to the magnificent 90 mile beach and plenty of bush tracks to go walking or bike riding.

The property is the bush refuge corner of a larger grazing property. Whilst sheep and cattle graze on one side of the fence, the wildlife grazing on "our" side includes echidnas, wombats, wallabies, possums, koalas, and is home to more than 30 species of birds identified so far.
Tarwin Lower EcoStudio is not far out of town and the Tarwin River (4 kms), for boating, paddling and fishing. Slightly further afield is Andersen Inlet (great fishing, paddling, paddle boarding, boating, and shallow waters for very young children), Venus Bay Surf beaches, and Walkerville South bay beach (with boat ramp). We started off spending weekends camping on our peaceful pocket of bush paradise when we built our home. We have since kept the campsite maintained and a place for family and friends to stay and escape their busy lives. Most recently, we have opened it up to Hipcamp in late 2020 where we have loved sharing our property and getting to know fellow campers.

Fantastic location, clean facilities, no issues with noise or anything else tbh. The views of the night sky from the beachfront on the campsite are breathtaking.
Really close to the national park and there is so much to do there great quiet location to come back and relax after big days exploring, lastly staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area which is always very welcoming.

Beautiful place to stay close to Inverloch. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating of us arriving late, and our dog loved staying in the paddock. Clean toilet and warm shower were much appreciated as well!

We loved this stay so much that we booked again as we travelled home. It was our first “all to yourself” stay and we loved the peace and privacy surrounded by nature vs other campers. The camp is in a beautiful bush setting with a short drive to both Wonthaggi and Inverloch. The access to water was appreciate particularly during extreme heat and bins meant we could travel lighter on the way home. The owners are helpful and lovely, Gypsie (their dog) also visited our camp for a pat and was great with our lab. Thanks for a lovely long weekend!
